Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Bills say they weren't going to franchise him? I just saw that tweet and thought immediately that they (SF) were going to target Stevie because he is a local guy. I hope he stays in Buffalo, but it seems to me that in this case no news is BAD news (for those of us that still want him in a Bills uniform).

That incident (and a couple more similar incidents) changed the way holsters for law enforcement personnel were designed. They are now more secure and much harder for someone other than the officer to pull the weapon from that holster. When I was in the academy we had to learn how to pull our weapon from the holster. That was one of the scenarios that we learned about. It's a shame that someone had to die for the proper changes to be made.

I saw an interview with Jimmy Johnson and he admitted that he had some video of the Bills walkthrough practice, and mentioned the shuffle play and how they never saw that in any of their films of the Bills. He knew they were gonna run it, and prepared for it.

Uh, if you didn't notice, they couldn't handle success, hence the 6-10 record after a 5-2 start. What happened during the season? Teams took the Bills for granted. Philly was a train wreck all year, KC was at its worst the first half of the season, Patriots had the classic "trap" game. It is what it is, and there isn't anything that Fitzpatrick said that is wrong. They couldn't handle the pressure, simple as that.

Because Buffalo Barbarian has a HUGE, almost creepy man crush on Tannehill.
