  1. Even if Fitz has an epic failure I don't see the Bills doing what it would take to get a Barkley or whomever else is the top rated QB. It's not Buddy's MO to trade away picks like that. But you never know. I just think it's unlikely.
  2. He was the starter in spring until he broke his leg. After that Barkley got the job. So he transferred to Richmond. Big difference between USC and Richmond. It doesn't mean he is terrible. He didn't have the talent around him. Give the kid a break. However, with that said, the odds aren't in his favor.
  3. This stuff amazes me GBID. Why on earth would a teacher throw their entire career/life away to have a relationship with a student? And, yes.
  4. You're kidding. You gotta be.
  5. I don't think McKelvins going anywhere. He will get better with an improved pass rush.
  6. I like Mayock. I still do whether or not he likes the Bills picks. Does he miss, yes, but everybody does from time to time. Hell, the Bills missed an ENTIRE YEAR of draft picks, but we still cheer for them right? In the end Mayocks opinion doesn't matter. It's just another opinion to listen to. Take it for what it's worth. What does matter is the opinion of the Bills front office, scouts, and coaching staff. So far the Buddy Nix regime has done a great job drafting. Buddy has done a great job in the past with the Chargers too. He can draft any player he deems fit. I think he has earned the right to do so.
  7. My dad says I've been a Bills fan since I was two. He thinks it was because my mom would read me stories about Buffalo Bill (Cody). Dad said that when I was two he was watching a Raider Bills game and I started rooting for the Bills. I had my moments when I cheered for the 85 Bears, and the Raiders for a very short bit. I didn't get to watch the Bills until the Cleveland playoff game. Now with DirecTV I don't miss a game. Can't imagine life without my Bills on Sundays. Good or bad, I still love em. And, I too was at the Bills Niners game in 94 or 95. Darrick Holmes fumbling on the 1 yard line, Woodall recovering the fumble and returning it for a touchdown. Sad. So sad.
  8. Would have been funny if the guys name was Kermit.
  9. I'd still like to see another Offensive Lineman or two drafted.
  10. Thanks Wagon Curler for reminding me why I dislike Draft time at twobillsdrive. Thanks.
  11. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  12. The entire interview seemed pretty genuine to me. I don't think there were a lot of smoke and mirrors involved. I could be wrong, but it seemed like he was very high on Martin.
  13. Based on the interview that I heard on the Colin Cowherd show with Buddy Nix it sounds like if they go with tackle it'll be Martin from Stanford.
  14. It was a good interview. Colin was gushing all over Buddy. Kind of made me feel a little uncomfortable it was so bad. Buddy seemed very honest. He said that "we" go by body of work when evaluating players. Taken into who his history of drafting is that isn't a smoke screen. No one year wonders. So now my question is out of all of the players left in the draft who has the better body of work? When he was talking about WR he mentioned Hill as not having the body of work Quick had. I take that to mean that Hill won't be drafted by the Bills. He also touched a little on off field issues. Basically to sum it up. He goes by a case by case scenario. If there is a player that has repeated issues in high school then college then he stays away from them (Malcom Floyd?). Also said that Martin from Stanford is going to be a very good lineman for someone. Hint hint?
  15. I'm shocked because your opening post had a lot of question marks and comments in it. To answer your question, no, it wasn't odd that they did an interview about the Gilmore pick immediately after the pick was announced. I'm glad they did it because it hopefully helped some of the fans back away from the ledge. I would say that the Bills war room was in good hands should an opportunity have presented itself to the Bills to do something else.
