So if you don't believe in 9-7 or 11-5 you must be a loser... that makes sense. Fans can have expectations all they want but it is up to the team to have expectations that they try and want to meet. Fan expectation isn't relevant to the team success at all... Reality is that the Bills are rebuilding and there are 2 great teams in the same damn division. They haven't made the playoffs in over a decade and had an atrocious defense last year. No one knows how these draft picks will turn out or if our young players on the team will improve. Fans have been predicting playoffs every year the past decade and they have yet to make it back.. How can you rag on people for being less optimistic than you considering that? What team have you been watching?

Locker played like hot garbage last year. He won't make it in the NFL.

I agree about the arm. It is probably the best in the draft and he can make every throw. But can he make the throws with pressure all around him? I've seen the comparisons to Big Ben but I don't really see it. Ben's strength is moving around and outside the pocket extending plays and firing it down field for big gains. I just cannot see Mallet doing this.

I don't want Mallet anywhere in this draft. He will be a worse statue than Drew Bledsoe ever was. The bills need a guy with a quick release and an ability to move around the pocket while feeling the oncoming rush. Mallet doesn't do this at all. He will get killed behind the current line.

I 100% do not want Ryan Mallett. He will get absolutely abused behind our line. No mobility to speak of. Won't be able to extend any plays.

Merriman will look good next year.. on the sidelines probably wearing a brace..

Nick Fairley, Marcell Dareus, and Von Miller. Going with all Defense. This would be a great start up front where we need the most help.

I'm a huge Dareus fan and hope the Bills take him 3rd overall.

Locker is awful. You just said you haven't seen him play much yet you think he is Joe Montana. I cringe at the thought of him 3rd overall. He is hot garbage.

Merriman is complete garbage now. Why would you want to add trash to what is a trashy defense already. You guys thinking he is the pro bowler from years ago are nuts. San Diego just cut him because he is finished. His body is breaking down and he will never be the player he was when he was juicing.

Being a good kick returner, I'm surprised he doesn't have good vision when he gets the ball at RB. Missing open lanes, bouncing outside when its not there..etc

Did anyone notice how poorly Spiller was running? There were a few times where he ran straight into the pile when there was a wide open cutback lane. Other times he would cut it outside when he could have easily gained more breaking upfield. Not liking what I am seeing so far from him... and not to mention that horrible fumble.

They ran all over the place last night but yea Peyton is great and usually does it without any help.

The OP is way off here. While the Bills have made a plethora of horrid moves in their history, most recently the extension of kelsey, this isn't one of them. Yes we spent a first rd pick on Lynch. At this point though, no one was going to give anything higher than a 4th, a 3rd would have been the highest but it doesn't look like it was happening. He was benched last yr due to ineffectiveness and has had plenty of off the field problems. We just spend the 9th pick of this years draft on a RUNNING BACK. There isn't a need for Lynch here, lets give spiller some much needed touches. The guy is electric and horribly underutilized right now..Also Jackson is the better of the two between him and Lynch. We weren't going anywhere with Lynch, might as well get some value for him now.

I agree. We need to deal a RB for an upgrade in talent at basically any other position. There are so many damn holes on this team it is sad. Why not start rebuilding right now and get some new players in here or at least picks for the upcoming draft. Sadly, I don't trust mgmt to get fair value if a trade were to happen.

He certainly didn't get any help yesterday. How many dropped balls were there? Lee Evans sucked out there and didn't really put forth any type of effort.

Watching TE play quarterback made me long for Losman to come back. Just a disgusting display both ways really...
