The sad thing is it will be Nix that makes the decision on what QB to draft this year... why does he still have a job?

This is what I would do, although I may take a flier on a guy in the 3rd-4th. This season will be rough regardless of who we take... we seriously lack that much talent. This will be another tough rebuild. I'd rather tank this season and get a Bridgewater next year.

There isn't a QB in this draft that reminds me more of Fitz than Nassib... Like ^ Nassib has no touch on his ball and his arm strength may be slightly better than Fitz... I hope the Bills don't draft him.. 4th round at best in my view.

Look I'm not saying drafting him is stupid at all.. I'm saying trading up for the # of necessary picks is stupid.

Being stupid about it would be trading up for Geno Smith...

That doesn't matter. Already having Alex Smith doesn't make a difference in what draft picks will be demanded. The Rams already had a QB in Bradford but still came away with all of those picks... plus the Bills would be moving much further up in the first round (8 picks vs 4...)

Not sure where you are getting the draft picks in a trade situation from. For the skins to move from 6 to 2.. (that was only 4 spots).. they gave up 2 future 1st round picks, plus a 2nd, and their swapped #6 pick... that is a TON!! Now the Bills would have to move up even further from 8 to probably 2 maybe 3.... Would you give up all of that for a guy that isn't as good a prospect as RGIII? And yes I understand they need a QB but for a organization that has been shy to draft any QB-regardless of round you really think they mortgage their entire future on Geno?

A mistake on Smith (assuming they draft up) will really hurt for a few years since they would be losing future picks and chances to draft other top QBs in the following draft. A miss on another guy at 8 or in the 2nd round won't hurt you much since you keep all of your picks and that QB will probably have similar upside to Smith anyway.. If he fell to the 8th I would def pick him but I don't see that happening unfortunately..

Would you trade high picks from this draft and next to move into a position to grab him? He will not be there at 8.

Lol I posted on the 2nd page in that thread saying that "I loved RGIII".. You could clearly see before the draft that he was going to be special... I want to believe in Geno but I'm just not seeing it. He had a miserable 2nd half of the season... Sure you can blame that terrible defense but he didn't do much on his own side of the ball... and he had some really great targets in Bailey and Austin who deserve some credit.

There is no Luck or RGIII in this draft... Not even a Cam Newton.

With so many holes, I don't see how they can trade up now... probably 2 firsts and a second for a guy who is not a sure thing like RG3 was... and I'm in the same boat as all of you wanting a Franchise QB... I'm not sold on Geno though... He will be picked before the 8th if they don't trade up.

Teblow can't play Quarterback.. Also Denver's defense won those games in spite of him.

This is a deep draft of mediocre QBs. I don't see any of them becoming elite... some may have OK careers though. Draft BPA at 8. Take a QB in the 2nd.

Jesus, no brainer top-pick. It was him and Leaf going in the first 2 picks for sure, no doubt about it. My comparison was towards Geno and Manning pre-draft and it is a pretty big discrepancy.

Big difference between Manning and Geno... Manning was a no brainer #1... Manning didn't lose to the powerhouse Syracuse 3 straight times.

I'm just saying from his perspective does he really view Geno much higher than the rest of the pack, especially after game planning and beating him 3 times in a row??

Manziel probably won't even come out next year... and it will be another weak QB class aside from Bridgewater.. a lot of so-so guys just like this year.. Just take the highest rated QB on your board in the 2nd round.
