I hate all of these QBs except EJ.. but I think 8 is way to high for him... I'd rather take BPA at 8 and tank this year to grab one of the QBs coming out next season..

Love this guy and he isn't that old for a LB.. would def help vs the run..

This is awful for the Bills... he was a great distraction for the Jets and I thought wildly over rated and now coming off a major injury.. now they relieve some cap pressure and have a ton of options in this upcoming draft.. The Bills are pretty much stuck at 8 now if they are thinking QB early.. I'd still rather trade that pick pack into the 2nd half of the first round.. I don't really care if the Jets grab a QB - they all are crapshoot QBs anyway. If they do stay at 8 I hope its BPA and not a terrible reach for QB.

Sounds about right. This is what we are treated to every year as Bills fans.. some of the worst Football around.

Does "touch" fall under accuracy?... because Nassib fails miserably here. He likes to throw rockets at guys running across the middle 5 yards in front of him...

I swear if Nassib played at someplace like Cincinnati or Pitt, no one on this board would want him as our QB. I don't understand the infatuation with him other than the fact that Marrone and Hackett coached him. 3rd round seems about right to me.. Geno, Barkley, EJ should go before him... once these guys are gone there isn't a real hurry to get a QB since the rest of the guys are almost interchangeable.. it is based purely on preference and what offense you desire to run.

I'd like a trade down scenario where we could get Manuel.. I like him because I think his upside is the highest and he seems like the least "crapped on" QB in this draft.. Plus I haven't seen him play a lot so he's got to be good right!

What did you expect him to say... "we don't feel there are any Franchise QBs in this draft"... He also wouldn't be wise to say there is only 1... when he sits at the 8th overall pick. Regardless I don't have any faith in Nix and I feel he should have been fired along with Gailey. Truth is no one knows which one of these guys is going to be a "Franchise" guy.

They brought in Kolb so they didn't have to reach a QB at 8. If it isn't Geno at 8, it better be another position.

Make no mistake about it, Gailey was in over his head as a head coach and the game had past Wanntrash by... I don't think you could put a worse tandem together to lead your team... I'm expecting the coaching to be much better. I disliked the Gailey hiring and didn't think the Wanntrash promotion would really change anything since he had already been a member of the coaching staff the year before for a terrible defense. I like the Marone hiring and really like bringing in Pettine..

Don't you guys know that Nix doesn't trade back in the draft... he just picks where he is slotted.. ..unless there is a speedy WR in the 3rd round that has 4th or 5th round value then he's on it!!

Do not want. Over-rated player who, coming off injury won't be as good as he once was.. plus the money and what you would have to give up makes it a tard move... I always thought he was a good corner because he was called differently than other CBs.. Rex and the Jets hype machine made it seem like he was a God... he was allowed to be more physical with WRs than just about any other CB. Post injury he may be 3/4 of what he was..

Agree, say there are 2 elite prospects in the draft next season.. The Bills get their typical 5-6 wins and we are in the same draft position next season with 3 or 4 teams needing QBs picking ahead of them again... those 2 elite guys will be long gone... Hell even when the Bills are really bad they pick 3rd and the elite guy (Cam Newton) is off the board... We are not going to luck out like Indy and get Andrew Luck with the first overall...you need to start taking chances at the position. You could trade up in this scenario but that is easier said than done and there will be competition in doing that too...

I'm wondering if they do in fact go O-line early in the draft now... not only will Kolb not last if he is the starter but they should be run heavy anyway with their personnel.

If he was taking advice from Gailey that is his own fault (he was a terrible Nix-hire anyway).. Nix is the architect of this team and the responsibility absolutely lies at his feet. Yes Chan had some say but Nix is the final decision maker... I'm tired of people defending Nix, he hasn't taken this organization forward at all..

It also needs to be said that they need to move on once a guy has proven he isn't "It". JP, Trent, Fitz all lasted way too long... They should have been drafting QBs early the past 3 seasons. That is a giant failure of Buddy Nix.

After watching the Gruden ESPN thing, I dislike him a little bit less but I still wouldn't draft him in the first 2 rounds.. I'm still worried about his speed, he is slow to the ball and there were several bad plays where he blew coverages and was way to late, leading to huge gains for the other team.. Something is still off about this guy... is it the Hawaiian thing or does he seem a little dare I say "gay" to anybody else? Not that there's anything wrong with that

I agree with you on the talent in this draft although one can never be 100% sure.. there may be a diamond in there... However what is the point of adding another cast-off veteran QB when we already have Jackson on the roster... Flynn nor Kolb nor Jackson are leading this team to the promise land. Let's face it, the Bills are going to have a tough year... I'd throw a rookie out there and see what he has. If he bombs, you likely set yourself up in a great position for the 2014 draft and you can grab a QB in the top of round 1 in a deeper QB class.

We would have to give up picks so I say NO! He is just as unproven as these QBs in the draft.. it makes no sense.
