7-8 wins, tough schedule but the Jets should be awful so there may be 2 easy wins. Kolb starts but Manuel finishes the season once he inevitably gets hurt.

Drafting another QB here would be retarded, I'm sorry... Why take reps/time away from EJ's development with another rookie QB. They already have 2 vets on the team to push for the job. Not to mention another rookie would needlessly bring added drama to the team. (EJ isn't RGIII at this point so don't make the comparison with WAS drafting Cousins) You could say that EJ might not work out, but you would almost guarantee it if you draft another guy here...especially Barkley or Nassib.

Has got a good build to him and is no where near Roscoe sized... is fast and made some big plays but the NFL has had so many track guys fail miserably... I hope he pans out though he has a lot of upside..

Don't get me wrong, I think Nix should have been fired with Gailey... but I like the new coaching hires and going out on a limb and getting the highest upside QB in this draft. Just because it isn't last years draft doesn't mean all these QBs are going to be garbage, no body honestly knows.

Everyone had a different opinion as to the top QB... a lot of them (not ESPN) had manuel at #2 or #3.. and always stating he had the highest upside of any QB. McShay and Kiper are just... not worth listening to.

Buddy said he didn't just want a guy who would be able to just get a team to the playoffs, but a guy who could win the Superbowl. If EJ continues to develop, he has that kind of ability.

The only draft boards that matter are the ones for the actual teams.. you have absolutely no idea where Manuel would end up if the Bills didn't take him where they did. The Eagles, Browns, Cards, Jets all would have been able to pick him ahead of the Bills in RD2... He was their highest rated QB so why risk not getting him, you never know what other teams are going to do to move ahead of you and pick players they want. I think you are senile. The is not what the Bills would have done in the past.

I think the QBs will slide further now... I really feel the Eagles or Jets would have picked Manuel in the 2nd. Now with the Bills already getting their QB, that is 1 less team needing a QB... I think either Barkley or Nassib fall to RD3... could even be Geno but not likely.

Exactly, McShay loved Aaron Maybin so just remember that... he doesn't know more than anyone else about how these guys will turn out. This guy has the highest upside of all of these QBs, no physical limitations whatsoever.... a welcomed addition after watching the rag arm Fitz. He was the Bills highest rated QB so why would they wait until round 2 and risk a team like the Eagles or even worse the Jets stealing him before our 2nd round selection... some of you guys are clueless and love to b*tch... stop drooling on Todd McShay's every word....

That is a load of crap... the Bills have the 41st pick... the Eagles and Jets both liked Manuel. Sure Barkley, Nassib, or even Geno may have fallen there but the Bills didn't want any of those leftovers..

Don't be blind I don't care about # of games missed - I care about what the injury was... He had a season ending shoulder injury on his throwing shoulder - torn ligaments thus putting him at risk for re-injury.. if that happens week 1 he is out for the season.. so your point of # of games is meaningless. I was simply comparing Locker decision to come back to Barkley's and how in both cases - their stock fell pretty hard. Barkley will slide in this draft. Also, you freak because I compared him to Locker, but yet you compare him to Brady and Manning... gg dude.
