  1. While he was terrible.. the run D is on the front 7 and it is looking a lot like last year in that regard.
  2. We need more designed roll outs for Manuel, he was very good on the run in college. I'd like to see a trips formation too, always gets someone open.
  3. This could be more of the same..
  4. Will we see a screen pass this game?
  5. Yea bench him when it's 20 all after he tied the game.. How does he learn if you pull him out of the game ? Is this a serious post? Jeff Tuel sucks btw.
  6. ^^ The defense sucked yesterday.
  7. This^ I actually miss Gailey's creativeness when it came to using Spiller... Has he lined up outside yet this year?
  8. This is what good teams quickly realize, at that point you are preventing the opposition from points... That's it. And again they gave up points.
  9. I can't watch another duck float out of bounds 5 yard away from a receiver.. The only time it was a good throw, Graham didn't turn around and make a play on the ball because he is a terrible NFL receiver. -EJ played like a rookie -His OC didn't do him any favors -O-line couldn't pass protect -Run game needs some work -Injury depleted secondary played how you would think an injury depleted secondary would play
  10. If this is a chronic injury that he had issues with last year and it is so far keeping him from playing this season, no team in their right mind is going to give him a long term deal that he wants. With all off season to rehab / rest, and missing all camp + preseason + first 2 games... and he still isn't right ? Sounds career threatening if he hasn't been right in 9-10 months. Just searching online - the key to rehabbing it seems to be rest to allow the ligaments to heal and then proper stretching / shoes or inserts to correct posture of the foot... of course everyone is different.. Byrd is likely sitting out to limit is risk on major injury this season.. he will come back somewhere near the half way point of the year to try and save face so teams know he can still play.
  11. Win the turnover battle, win the game. This is the number 1 key, ahead of everything else.. The teams are actually pretty even when it comes down to it, I like our talent better at some positions but it is close without the homer goggles on. We need to force Geno into mistakes, while preventing EJ from doing the same..
  12. Can't take anything for a given, especially on the road vs a division rival... Going to be tough and the Jets are probably feeling they should win this game vs the lowly Bills. -Absolutely can't lose the turnover battle, if we do it will be a struggle... -While I think Geno is garbage, he is an athlete and can make some athletic big plays... need to force him into big mistakes instead. -EJ needs to out perform Geno -Shut down their run game and force Geno to become a pocket passer
  13. Nice, also maybe you could do a break off and group some together like: < 3 Yards 3-10 10-15 15-20 20+
  14. This^ Fox was absolutely a joke yesterday.. it was amazing to me how bad the broadcast was in it's entirety.. From the announcing of player names incorrectly, botching the scroll, limited replays, and overall commentary was that of a high school game. Didn't seem like the multi-Billion dollar NFL. Makes me appreciate CBS.
  15. Can we scrap passes to Chandler in the flats from the playbook?? That is by far the worst way to use him... he should only run down the seams.. slowest player in the league and it's not close... -The late hit play by Williams was retarded and led to points for Carolina. -EJ with a great drive to win the game Is anyone else annoyed with the hurry up? The coaching staff needs to realize that ball possession is so important in this league... they should have handled the end of the half better than they did...
  16. Mario played like the 100 Million dollar man today.
  17. Sure you did Mark, sure you did. Now go grab Geno some Gatorade and Rex a snack.
  18. 2-23 is just wow. How does that even happen... oh wait..
  19. Geno was terrible last night... even before the 3 picks, he missed a wide open TD early on and took too many sacks.. I will say that the team around him blows though. His best passes were him staring at 1 guy with a clean pocket around him so he could step into it...
  20. Forgot the Jets game where he dropped it in the end zone.. would have won it as well.. It's not that he fails to catch a lot of passes - it's that he fails in the most clutch situations that directly impact whether or not the team wins or loses.
  21. Not sure if the 2,000 predictions on this site were posters being realistic or not.. but no way he comes close to that... 1500 should be a target for him.
  22. He's no Geno Smith though..
  23. I usually don't notice the O-line unless they are getting constantly beat, Colin Brown was really bad in that game... like off the street bad. NE only blitzed what was it? 6 times? Plus Manuel avoided a couple sacks with his movement in the pocket..
  24. Washington played terrible, the Eagles O won't look that good every game.. Vick will get dinged up, teams will actually play defense vs them in the first half. The hurry up is great and everything if you rack up first downs, not so much when you are 3 and out in under a minute... sending a tired D back out on to the field.
