Why make it retractable for the purpose of maybe opening it 3-4 times a year in September and October? If it's a dome it won't be retractable. The extra costs makes zero sense. And for those that think they would actually open it during cold weather for it to be some type of advantage

Report: Bills attempted to trade up for Carlos Hyde
HeHateMe replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Spiller can be a dynamic back. He was injured last year and reverted back to his poor decision making quite a bit. Hackett did him no favors with terrible play calling. Predictable runs up the middle. No lining up outside or short passes. If he can just avoid the number of zero or negative rushes, he would be elite. Instead of taking 3-4 yards, he bounces outside for zero. It works once every 30 times but those other 29 rushes put the team and young QB behind the 8-ball. -
Mario Williams is a good starter while Kyle Williams is Elite? uhh MW has 23.5 sacks in 2 years with the Bills.. that's pretty impressive.
-
This^ If Spiller has another down year I don't see how the Bills make him an offer or at least an offer he would consider. And I think this is it for Fred he may retire after the season.

What could they have done in the draft
HeHateMe replied to Luxy312's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was worried about the pick as well but the more I think about it, it doesn't really mean they won't be able to move on to another QB if they really want to. A can't miss prospect at QB (top 3 pick) is 1) unlikely to even exist next year similar to the past couple years. Blake Bortles was taken at 3 but he isn't a Luck or Newton and 2) the Bills would need to go something like 3-13 next season to even be in a position to draft said top flight QB prospect. After that - they are just prospects and it comes down to fit, talent, progression etc. They still have their RD 2 pick if they want a prospect next year or can explore free agency/trade. -
Stevie would not be a #1 on any other team in the league, he was so over rated here it's not even funny. The most un-clutch receiver in the league. He was ok, had some good moments. However I think the bad exceeded the good though especially when it came to Wins and Losses. Also stop with the 1,000 yard season comment. Today's NFL is much different with regard to the passing game - numbers are inflated. 1,000 yard seasons are not what they used to be. We could have a rookie exceed that this year and a couple others come close. And Byrd didn't want to be here, I thought everyone knew that?

NFL networks coverage of Michael Sam

^^Yea they sure have to worry about him kissing his team mates... -
Not right or wrong but not unexpected is my point. They have 2 backup QBs on the roster who started games for them last season. I could see why they didn't think it was a need. They are all in on EJ so let's see if that is the correct decision.
-
Queue the 100 off season threads on why they didn't draft one of these QBs.. It was virtually guaranteed they were not going to if you have been following this team at all in the past few months.

Schefter: Eagles trade Bryce Brown to Bills
HeHateMe replied to Punch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fantasy football players know who this guy is. I like it. Apparently Bills showed interest last year. Philly didn't want to give him up since he was McCoy insurance but they added Sproles now. -
I like the draft so far. Didn't mind getting rid of Stevie for the pick either. Dude was a fan favorite but was so over rated when it came to what he could do on the field.

Should Buffalo take a flyer on Tom Savage (QB - Pitt) in Rd 4

AJ McCarron won't do anything in the NFL... I don't understand why people want him. -
WR Stevie Johnson traded to San Francisco 49ers

Who is going to do all the twiitering now?? -
WR Stevie Johnson traded to San Francisco 49ers
HeHateMe replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well said.. you know if they would have kept him, the first big drop at a crucial time in a game this season they would have said we should have traded him in the off-season while he had some value left. Anquan Boldin got what a 6th round pick... this is pretty good value here. EJ and Stevie were not on the same page this season when they were both in there. SJ has a perpetual groin injury on top of that and had a connection with Fitz that may not be duplicated because he is so unconventional. Yea he can get open but it takes a while to develop and when the ball is thrown he can't make the catch anyways.. -
Everyone was clamoring for Watkins before the draft and now that they moved up to get him it's a bad move. What did you think the price was going to be? A couple 2nd and 3rd round picks? Any team would have traded that to get him or Cleveland would have just drafted him to pair with Gordon. Look no one likes giving away the 2015 first but if they Bills are actually decent next year it's a good trade. If they are bad then the trade is bad. Pretty much that simple.

He would have been available one round later... -
NFL.Com is thinking it may be Evans
HeHateMe replied to Kellyto83TD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oakland and Cleveland will probably take Evans and Watkins. If Oakland takes an OT, then Tampa will take Evans. No way in hell the Bills will be able to get him at 9. -
Go on record. Who do you want?
HeHateMe replied to The Voice of Truth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Trade up a few picks to get Evans. If they stay at 9 and Matthews is there I'd want him. If they can't trade up for Evans and Matthews is gone at 9, they should trade down and draft BPA wherever they are and in round 2 get the best OT in addition to another WR/TE/LB. -
Bad Vibes About A Certain Player.....
HeHateMe replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This^, the draft is mostly a crap shoot so why not get more chances to make the right picks? Especially in a deep draft. At pick 9 I don't think any of the top guys will be there and the guys from 9-15 have been slotted anywhere within that range so there isn't a big difference in the players available. I think it really comes down to fit. I'd trade with someone in the mid to late teens if there was a taker. Sounds like a lot of teams want to move back though. -
Don't be shocked to see Mack go #1

Clowney will be the first pick. -

I actually have been leaning toward Aaron Donald at 9 before this. Think he is BPA there. -
Trading up is stupid unless for a Franchise QB in the mold of a Manning, Luck, even RGIII. This would be an awful decision for a guy who had 3 sacks in college last season. Pass rush wasn't even a problem last year, they couldn't stop the run again for what seems like the 10 season in a row.
