I think it is important to get off to a good start this game and keep the crowd going.
Should be a close one and a few plays in the 4th will be the deciding factor. 27-23 Bills.
Chandler is trash... seriously he was a nice surprise 2 years ago but it's time to move on. He isn't a good blocker, has mediocre hands, and is slow as hell.
We will see week 1 if we can cover anybody. B Marsh and Jeffrey will be a real test.
Our linebackers in space matching up with RBs or TEs...
Offensive line issues..
Punting..
I was shocked to hear Watkins was in this game, not shocked to hear he got hurt again.
That should be a fire-able offense but there no one to lay the smack down, yet... Really starting to dislike all the coaches aside from Schwartz,
Tuel needs reps but can't risk him getting hurt since he is the only other guy that knows the offense. It would leave us with no backup that has any experience with the playbook.
Brady dinks and dunks with tons of YAC and getting his guys in open space...
EJ dumps it off at the line of scrimmage where his RBs get blasted. Or he throws it behind them... Or at their feet.
EJ is throwing 30 TDs this year? On the heaviest run team in the league?
There is optimism and then there is insanity...
3,300 yards, 19 TDs 13 picks, 2 rushing TDs, 350 rush yards
Just about every team in the NFL has had skirmishes, fights in camp this year... Stop over-reacting it is getting unbearable.
And hughes said something stupid on the sidelines so what... he is a football player, these guys are not CEOs of major companies here. They are not exactly the most intelligent people in the world which is why they run into each other for a living.
Meh what other power does Marrone have with the players besides forcing them to run... He had enough of the fighting and sent a message.
Don't have a real issue with it... and "lost the team?" Please.. these guys are out there every day jacked up trying to make the roster, emotions run hot. Not a big deal.
Agree to the extent that Tuel seems much more comfortable than last year.
Honestly he is more of a pure QB that EJ is at this point. Their ceilings are no where near each other but Tuel has a much better feel right now. EJ seems more forced, mechanical like has been mentioned in earlier posts.
Not going to crucify EJ for last night's performance but I'm still waiting to see that intermediate pass to a WR or TE down the field.
Some posters complain he does throw the deep ball enough. I completely disagree with this, he throws the deep ball all of the time.
What he doesn't do is throw the pass you have to make 4-5 times a game to setup scores. The 15-25 pass plays that get the defense scrambling on their heels. He didn't do this last year enough and I didn't see even an attempt last night.
It seem's it is either a 7 yard check down or a 35 yard prayer that he throws. Really nothing in between. This tells me in just isn't comfortable yet with either what he sees or in his own ability.
He needs to throw the ball farther than 3 yards on 3rd and 10.
Also, complete 1 deep out pattern this season.
Seriously though, there is a ton of room for improvement in his game. I think the #1 thing is to trust more in his ability and take chances to make some plays out there. Way way too conservative last season. You have to play to win.
