No chance, there will be riots at OBD if he is still starting next season. The staff may be underwhelming but their QB can't perform simple football tasks like throwing to a guy wide open 5 yards in front of him. The GM is responsible for not bringing in some more QB talent to backup/start in front of EJ this season.

This^ and draft the experts best available QB prospect in the 2nd or 3rd round to develop. The bills have proven they cannot evaluate the QB position. Bradford was balling last year before the injury. He might never get back to be a true Franchise QB but he would certainly be an improvement over what we have seen.

If only he was Russel Wilson.. Could we try 0 passes next game, that might work? Have Freddie throw it on a HB option?

No one else in a position calling the shots would make such an awful error in judging talent.

The team is playing at a severe disadvantage every week with the QB position. It isn't fair to the rest of the players, I feel bad for those guys. The play calling could be better but honestly there were open WRs all game long and EJ threw it in the dirt or sailed it out of bounds again. What is with his lob throws? Is that all he can do? I haven't seen 1 strike from him his whole career where he steps up and delivers a bullet to a WR in stride. He is downright terrible and a disgrace to the position. Bring in ORTON, they sure are paying him enough.

Marrone doesn't have the guts to put Orton but that gives this team the best chance to win right now.

Your right he must be good then. If he is a starting QB in the league he must be the real deal. Is Fitz good? What about Tannehill or Matt Cassel? They have or had one of the 32 jobs. Unless we see a miraculous turn around in his performance, he will remain a permanent project until he hits the bench or gets cut. What has EJ done the first 3 weeks that Orton could not do? Orton can not run for first downs and throw it out of bounds for safety's too.

Pointing to a completion % without looking at the actual games and saying he is accurate is a joke. The RBs have to dive for dump off passes... or it sails over their heads out of bounds. Accuracy and his lack of field vision will do him in. Dude couldn't throw it into the ocean from a boat.

EJ plays much slower and weaker than he really is.. Slow eyes and inaccurate to a T. He has to see guys wide open before he will deliver the ball.. Rarely throws with anticipation.. has trouble maneuvering around the pocket and avoiding any pressure.

Don't you know you need to see at least 30 games before you can evaluate him... Agreed on all counts.

There was no possible way Cousins would be out RGIII in preseason.. are you kidding... 1 year removed from a playoff birth and rookie of the year honors is not going to lose his job no matter how bad he plays in preseason / off season. That said, injuries have decimated him to the point that I'm not sure he can come back. Cousins has some talent and honestly already looks like more of a QB than EJ has shown in his time in the league.

Inaccurate QBs just don't wake up one day and become accurate. His is an inaccurate QB who occasionally throws a nice ball, you want your Franchise QB to be the other way. Another 16 games isn't going to change that fact. What we know for sure is that he has never shown, in his entire football career, to be that good of a decision maker. I think the front office saw Cam Newton potential in him... He isn't half the runner the Cam is and doesn't even come close to having the same feel for the position. He will play this year out if he stays healthy but like usual this position needs to be seriously upgraded in the near future.

NE and the Jets will decide the division again. The Bills are a bad team posing as a mediocre team again. Miami is terrible.

Can people please stop comparing EJ to freaking Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady... we get it those guys didn't play well either but you really sound lazy making that comparison. Just stop.

Defense got exposed against a good offense. They got torn up week 1 but Cutler gave away some gifts. They were still the better unit as the O looked to be back in pre-season form. My hope for Manuel is fading, it is the eye test. He doesn't have a feel for the game, plays like a robot, is predictable with the ball, hates throwing to his receivers, can't anticipate the rush to find a wide open target. His ceiling is a worse version of Steve McNair, without the feel for the position.

Haven't ran it well in the red zone and that doesn't make things any easier. Manuel also missed some passes. I think the play calling needs to be more creative in the red zone, more play action or roll outs to pickup positive yards.

This was a noticeably horrid broadcast. They should be ashamed. Honestly the worst ever.

Some posters will say he is a bust and others will say he is a stud... I haven't seen much from the guy to say he will be an above average player. Looks like a replaceable corner at this point in his career. Corey Graham showed more in 1 game than I have ever seen from Gilmore.
