We have trouble putting up points because of the constant turnovers, penalties, and terrible O-line play. I'm not sure I see the O-line improving with the same cast of guys. Urbik needs to play though. Orton does hold the ball a little to long and has no ability to evade the rush.

Didn't realize that, I only remember that big completion and seeing how burnt to a crisp he was on that play... Guess that skewed my perception of his day. They didn't throw down field much though since Teddy is a rook. Still, he has been beaten recently for TDs vs the Lions and Pats, albeit that was a great catch/play in the Pats game by the WR.

Just because people are critical of Spiller's play on the field doesn't mean that they "hate" him.. Why would anyone hate a person they never met? Dixon / Brown should be able to make some plays. It is more up to the O line to actually do their damn jobs.

Pears is trash at Guard, Henderson got thrown around a few times yesterday, and Cyril has been meh. Urbik needs to get some burn.. Hairston? O-line is supposed to be Moron's specialty. Get this clown out of OBD.

The Jets usually stomp us in there place... Our O-line with Orton will spell disaster. They need to go after the secondary to have a shot.

Have to be the worst or at least tied for being the worst staff in the NFL. It's not even debatable. They were both mediocre at the collegiate level. When has a mediocre college coach gone on to do great things in the NFL?

Did he have a game like this though? It was truly awful. I remember some poor plays by AW early on but an entire game in which he was abused? I don't recall.

If you can't see that Watkins is a stud I don't know what to tell you.. This offense is pathetic with Hackett's play calling. What little success they find I attribute to the players. Now the trade in the draft is absolutely debatable and I hated it but I like the player.

Jackson performs better with this offensive line, he should be the starter. CJ for change of pace and that is all. Keep him on kick return too. I think he would be better in that complementary role anyway. Oh and I don't think they resign him.

-Spiller needs to run off tackle or used in the passing game with half back route patterns from the backfield or in the slot. -Watkins made some great plays throughout and that one late in the game where he tipped the ball was unreal. -Orton started slow but made a lot of plays as the game went on... and look a 300 yard passing day and a win. He needed to step up and deliver some passes and he did just that. -Detroit's kicker is terribad... Carpenter is clutch. ---- Big win on the road.. they had some key guys hurt but so did we so that evens out. Needed this win after last week's EJ debacle.

Yes those do seem a lot worse than normal losses. Just getting annihilated - Green bay, 49ers, Cowboys all stand out to me..

He would have a future if he was just making rookie mistakes but playing well otherwise... that isn't the case - he simply wasn't doing anything right.

No the fact that in a passing league with the odds stacked heavily in the favor of the offense, especially this season... him never eclipsing 300 once in his 14 games is sad. He hasn't even sniffed that 296 again and that was 12 games ago... Shouldn't he be improving?

You can fine tune some things with your throwing motion and possibly slightly improve accuracy, but if you are a completely inaccurate passer this won't turn you into a good one. It's not that EJ is just inconsistent either, he is more off then on when passing the ball. He will throw 5 bad passes and 1 good one. It should be the other way around.

I'm all for ups and downs with a young QB, but he hasn't shown any ups yet... Not a single 300+ yard game or a game that makes you actually believe he can be a long term solution at QB... the best he has played has been OK... He is usually bad to very bad.
