McNally: Tom sucks. I'm going to make the next ball a f---ing balloon. Jastremski: Talked to him last night. He actually brought you up and said you must have a lot of stress trying to get them done. ... The refs f----d us. A few of them were at almost 16 [pounds per square inch, well above the required 12.5 to 13.5 psi]. McNally: Make sure you blow up the ball to look like a rugby ball so Tom can get used to it before Sunday. Jastremski: Can't wait to give you your needle this week. McNally: F--- Tom. Make sure the pump is attached to the needle. F-----g watermelons coming. Jastremski: So angry. Yea totally about weight loss... I typically talk psi levels when discussing losing weight..

What good is a hurt Goodwin eating up a roster spot... he is not a football player. Yea he is talented but that doesn't make you a football player. You need to you know not get hurt every single time you get tackled. He is made of glass. Give me the more proven Hogan. You are getting a solid WR who is reliable there. Harvin is there to return kicks, don't need Goodwin for that. Watkins, Woods, Harvin, Hogan, Easley with Goodwin outside looking in.

Bills have the 2nd worst OL in the NFL according to PFF
HeHateMe replied to Dorkington's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Were they not god awful last year?? We had the worst guard play in the league by far.. And down years for Wood and Glenn. Henderson wasn't good. Incognito and a rookie aren't going to change perceptions of this unit just yet. -
5-6 WGR interview with Tyrod Taylor
HeHateMe replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think it's about what he has "proven" in the league. He has been a backup for 4 years. Throw those 35 attempts out the window, they mean nothing. But I don't think the comparison is unfair. You could say their styles are similar and Kaep definitely had a down year last year. It's not out of the realm of possibility that taylor could put together a season or a better one than Kaep last year. Even though he is unproven. -
Espn NFL Nation reporters predict 5-11 season for Bills
HeHateMe replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the defense alone gives this team 7 wins. QB play will determine the rest. -
Injuries aside that was a terrible 2nd round pick.

His 2010 draft was pretty bad, Torell Troup as your 2nd rounder? He seemed to get better as he went along.

Is Jameis Winston really worth 1st pick overall?
HeHateMe replied to Cold Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He will go 1st overall. I think Tampa knew they were going to take him as soon as they finished last. You take the gamble on a Franchise QB 10 out of 10 times... especially when he has the resume that Winston has. The off-field stuff can be concerning but NFL teams need Quarterbacks. Oh and the VY comparison is terrible. Not even remotely close. -
^ This, so much this. I complain every week about the show but I still DVR it and watch it every week. S1 was just so great that I keep hoping we get some of that magic back. There were 3-5 great episodes since but the show just feels so lethargic to me. They take entire episodes to develop single characters and don't show us anything we didn't really know prior to it. All while spending 42 minutes and a whole week on it. TWD desperately needs simultaneous plot lines to follow. Even when the group split up, the show failed and still did 1 group / 1 episode and so on.

Fish in process of extending Tannehill
HeHateMe replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Tannehill was a Bill, he would be the next Jim Kelly to Bills fans. Some of you posters are funny. The guy has improved each year in the league, stayed healthy, is athletic, seems like a good leader and willing to get better. We haven't had a QB as good has him since Kelly retired... serious talk. He just went for 4k yards, 27 TD and 12 INT in his 3rd year on a team with a putrid line. He is a better player than Dalton for sure. -
Agreed. I think it is one of Sanchez, McCoy, Locker, Moore that they bring in. There are no "good" options. But a Vet will need to be brought in to compete. They likely draft a guy in the 3rd round or so as well. Just hoping one of them can be a "system" guy and not lose games every week. We really just need a marginally better performance than what Orton gave last year to have a serious shot at the playoffs. I wouldn't hate any of the above as long as the staff feels like they can get the most out of the guy and he can stay on the field.

All Things Incognito (Richie returns, signs contract)
HeHateMe replied to RalphOP83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great pickup. Needed to address the porous O line play from a year ago. That was an absolute train wreck. So the guy is an a-hole. Aside from Martin, all of his team mates said he was a leader on the team and a guy that would have their back whenever needed. He is the type of player you need on the O-line and especially needed on this team with the direction they want to go pounding the rock. Some of you comparing to him Vick, OJ... please just stop. Low money last chance in the league on a new team trying to prove himself and make a living... very low risk. And good job TBD ripping the OP for his call on this. Keep those apology's coming... Props to Ralph. -
It benefits the organization to see what Manuel can do in the last game. In my opinion he should have been the guy these last few games anyways but Marone is coaching scared. That said, Marone will stick with Orton because that is his boy. Even though he has shown to be no better than Manuel, which is really saying a lot since he is a 10 year veteran. Put the young guy in to see if there is anything... anything at all.

In a QB starved league, we have a shot at none of the guys being mentioned in this thread as possibilities. Cutler is literally the only one and that is because he is terrible at his job, he poses as a guy with talent when all he can do is toss it to the wrong team. Bradford, maybe, St. Louis still may want to see how he comes back and pay him for 1 more season... Kap sucks too btw.

Moron is a scrub and a never was. The sooner he gets canned the better. Same for Nasty Nate. It was such a JV move to bring them in at the time. I hope with Pegula, we can land someone competent.

I would take him as our QB in a second.

What happens if The Bills lose Thursday?
HeHateMe replied to first_and_ten's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Chiefs game really hurt. Either the team lays down or they compete Thursday. It is a winnable game vs a team they match-up very well with. They need to stop shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers and the O needs smarter play in the red zone. The defense just has to take the field and they should abuse that O-line. And for God's sake Marrone needs to stop playing not to lose and go for it on 4th and short when it makes sense. Take a calculated risk for once and put some faith in your offense. If the HC doesn't believe they can gain 6 inches, the offense isn't going to respond very well to that. -
This exactly what I was thinking. If you are going on 4th no matter what, which was the case since they did, why not pickup a few yards on 1-3rd down???? Mind numbing trying to figure these JV coaches out. In over their heads.
-
If we had Aaron Rodgers this thread would be relevant. This team is average. Great defense with a bad offense. Add in some poor coaching and we have all of the ingredients for 8-8. No way in hell we beat Denver, Green Bay, or NE. They really needed this game against a team they need to pass in the standings to make the playoffs. Does anyone really think they can run off 3 in a row? What team have you been watching this year or the past 15 years?

Keith Rivers benched/ Preston Brown emerging as starter
HeHateMe replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So a few penalties, one being a joke taunting... and vick ran by him like he does with most LBs and we should get rid of him? He is one of the most improved defensive players on the team.. a homegrown talent. Regarding Bradham. -
It was frustrating to watch but they won the game and had control for most of it. - They were playing with a lead so turned even more conservative than normal. - Bad O-line and didn't want to expose Orton to big hits or turnovers which he has had a problem with. I would have taken more shots since it was quite obvious the Jest defensive backs are absolute scrubs.

Kraig Urbik appears to have been freed
HeHateMe replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think he can.. that is just according to what Joe B has said when he was put there a bit in off season / pre-season.
