How long will he be out because of this? It's going to be tough for him missing all of training camp and pre-season to play much at all the first half of this season. Day 1 starter huh Whaley.. Edit: Some reports state 4-6 months out after this surgery. If it takes longer to heal, he won't see the field until Mid-November...

Yea anyone pointing at the Sabres record saying the Pegula's have no clue what their doing with that team are being quite ignorant. They flat out tanked for 2 years in a row to stock their talent and are only now starting to build up the team with the assets they acquired. It's not an overnight process. They are a couple of years and a few pieces from being a perennial playoff contender++.

There is no point of keeping Rex if you say "keep your hands off the defense"... that is all he knows. He doesn't do anything better than other coaches so there really is no point in keeping him. I'd rather bring in a coach who hires a defensive and offensive coordinator to run each side of the ball while my coach just coaches the team and focuses on details and adjustments.

What are they going to sell fans on this off season? More hope? The Rex hire was a huge disaster.

Rex neutered this defense to play his way, not to the player's strength. His stubbornness definitely cost this team wins. The O-Line is mediocre and the right side needs to be improved. A decision has to be made on Glenn.. I'm not against keeping him but I don't think they can land him with a contract that works both ways. Tyrod is a first year QB who has played well but has trouble sustaining drives. Gilmore is a must keep.

The Bills should be where the Jets are at this season if they had better coaching.

This team lost to the jaguars. They are not winning out.

Year after year the thing that costs the team more games than anything else is... their inability to make adjustments in-game, quarter to quarter, halftime, after timeouts, whenever... you get the point. Chiefs adjusted after their third straight 3 and out and Rex never changed until the game was over. Reid is smarter than Rex as is most of this league.

If you give Rex Ryan Tom Brady he is as successful if not more than Belichick. This is a QB league and Rex has never had one.. Some of that his on him but it's mostly on the GMs he has had. I do agree about Roman, I think he has some nice design to the run game but that is where his expertise stops. He is a terrible play caller and doesn't utilize his weapons on offense. I don't remember seeing much play action last night.
