Tyrod is not a playoff caliber QB. Give Peterman the nod this year to see any type of development. Improve our position in the draft next year. Tyrod has no value in this league. He's a QB who can't throw. You might be able to get a 4th for him. Might.

Tyrod creates pressure on himself for no reason. He needs to like not do that. This isn't a playoff team. If we overachieve we win 8 games. And that is because we play the Fins and Jets twice who are trying to out suck us.

Honestly love the moves. Watkins has 1 foot and is fragile as hell. He is not resigning with us anyway so why not trade him now? You are not getting a 1st for him with his injury history. Gives us more ammo next year. Darby, whatever he isn't a difference maker. We are not making the playoffs but it was going to be a long shot with the brutal schedule. This team still has zero depth and the staff isn't hanging on blind hope of trying to squeak into the playoffs only to get manhandled but the real teams. Get a QB in the draft. That is all that matters, like what they are doing.

More difficult schedule and a worse roster with a rookie QB. Even though Rex was awful I think it's a tall order to ask McD to get this team to the playoffs year 1. I think we should tank for the 2018 QB class and finally stop trying to patch holes year to year.

Sick of drafting DBs to replace our DBs. Get a freaking QB on this team to have him sit behind Tyrod for a year or two. Take a chance on getting a Carr, Wilson, Dak, Roethlisberger, Rodgers... Trade back and get a QB and a defensive player with your two picks.

Corey Davis at 10 is who I want. I don't think Sammy stays healthy and probably leaves after his rookie deal is up. Davis is the most complete WR on the board. Use the rest of the draft on defense. We just spent 3 high picks on D last year. We're a Watkins injury from again having the worst WR core in the league.

It doesn't seem like we are close. From the sounds of it, OBD doesn't think so either.

Exactly, it goes to show that unless it's a defense loaded with HOFers, you need that QB to make plays and clutch up for you when it matters. Tyrod hasn't done that in 2 years. GBs defense isn't good. Rodgers made play after play yesterday to win that game. I'm not asking for Tyrod to be Rodgers but when it comes down to it, the QB has to steal some games for you. The good ones do it in the regular season, the great ones in the playoffs. Tyrod hasn't done either. And yes I know the defense wasn't good this year. Doesn't change my point.

Having an all-world defense isn't easy either. Especially in this era. I hate seeing posts like "well the Ravens won with Dilfer". They had an all time great defense. The Bills have been trying to build up their team at every other position except QB and it hasn't worked too well for the past 17 years.

Tyrod has peaked. He is what he is. He was lucky to not get hurt this year either.. Running QBs, especially smaller guys like Tyrod are massive injury risks.

You clearly missed my point. It's hard to rely on winning by creating a team that can even have a great defense. You need a lot to go right... Every team wants a great defense. It's not easy to accomplish because you need 11 great players and no significant injuries to get that done. It's NOT EASY.

Tyrod has peaked. He is not a good QB. He is somewhat capable of making some good plays because of his mobility. I agree he makes the run game better too. Guess what we have had a great run game for 2 years and have still stunk. He can't make the plays from the pocket that a QB needs to make. He lacks vision and timing with WRs. The next WR he throws open will be his first.
