  1. Haha. Clearly hes saying Hello, lets have a bear together.
  2. Our cap room will be greater than that.
  3. With the current personnel, I would really like to see Dawkins at RG. Who was that great Cowboys OL that made the switch from LT to RG and dominated? Also, the Redskins' awesome RG, Scherff, used to be a LT and dominates at the Guard position now. Glenn/Incognito/Wood/Dawkins/Mills Ducasse is garbage; complete garbage. Wilkerson saw that he was starting and had flashbacks of schooling him at practice everyday as a Jet probably. Embarrassing.
  4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeNf-axc_4s This is the video from the Dolphins game. Take a moment to watch that video after watching the Seahawks video. Every single play in both videos (except 1 - the flea flicker) has Tyrod out of shotgun. Look at the play at the 3:43 mark. Insane. Shady is running wild; Tyrod is running wild. Offense is going bonkers. Thing of beauty.
  5. ...and had one of the best defenses in recent history; and also best home field advantage. Lets not forget the complete package.
  6. Ive seen Brees have some horrible road games; especially in Chicago. Lets hope we have a nice cold day in Buffalo next week.
  7. I dont really follow your post regarding Watson.
  8. Pretty much that entire game vs Seattle, an elite defense, he was out of shotgun. If you go back and look at the 2nd Miami game last yr where we set a record for offense, majority of game out of shotgun as well. Our two best offensive players benefit from it. Its a no brainer.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzvjkDwihd0 This is the offense we should be running every week. Forget the 3-step drops from under center. We need to spread them out, put Tyrod in shotgun, and let him and Shady run wild. This should be the blueprint for our offense. Running the shotgun spread mitigates an opponent's speed on defense, and it highlights the speed you have on offense - primarily Tyrod and Shady for us. Furthermore, with Tyrod being in shotgun, not only is his field of vision improved, but it limits what a defense can do to contain him from running the ball since the defense is spread thin across the field. It's literally a no-brainer to me. So Dennison, DO IT.
  10. I've said this in other threads, but I really think we need to focus on dominating the LOS. Thoughts: 1. It's almost a fact that if you can dominate the battle at the LOS on both sides of the ball you're going to win a lot of games regardless of what else you have going on in your team. A great DL makes the secondary that much better; a great OL makes any RB and QB better. It's an undeniable truth. 2. O-line: Looking at the future there are a lot of question marks. Incognito is approaching 35yrs of age; love the guy, but that's old. Wood is also on the wrong side of 30, though we can maybe get another year or two out of him of solid production. Mills is a backup, at best. Ducasse is a pile of garbage. Glenn is the one shining star we have. We may need to draft and/or sign 2 OL next season. This is what I ideally want: Glenn/Incognito/Wood/Dawkins/First round draft pick (with our 2nd first rounder) at RT. If Incognito hangs them up then I want Glenn/Dawkins/Wood/Free agent/First round draft pick (with our 2nd first rounder) at RT. 3. D-line: Jerry Hughes is an OK player. He's not the player he was 3-4 years ago though. We can't rely on just Hughes to bring pressure every week. Lawson is better at stopping the run than rushing the passer. We need an edge rusher to compliment Hughes on the other side. That edge rusher can rotate with Lawson depending on the situation. We also need a DT - KW is really starting to get up there in age and though I absolutely love him, reality is what it is (he's old). We need another DT in there if KW retires and/or to compliment KW next year in a rotation with A. Washington. 4. LB: We need a field general to lead this defense for the next decade. I really can see McD drafting a LB high in next year's draft. His defense in Carolina had studs at LB and we're a bit lacking in this department. I think our first overall pick is either going to be LB or DE, I really do. Luckily, everything I mentioned up there can be done b/c we have so much draft capital. The first 4 picks I see going as: LB/DL/OL/DL. Starting with the 3rd round we can start adding pieces at the RB position. I feel the 3rd round would be an excellent spot to land a RB to compliment Shady. 4th round and on would be great to add depth to the secondary and additional depth at the LB position. We can address A LOT through the draft next season. I'm really excited. This doesn't even take into account the FA's we can bring in to sure up some other spots. With the addition of Benjamin, I actually think we are set at WR. Benjamin/Matthews/Jones/Holmes is pretty solid at WR. TE could be an upgrade but I'm curious to see how this Logan Thomas experiment will continue to progress this season. Exciting times fellas.
  11. I kept waiting for them to spread it out and put TT in shotgun...kept waiting...and waiting. It seemed like the obvious thing to do. But I'm not as smart as Dennison.
  12. Well said. In-game adjustments are lacking.
  13. Good question. He’s having a decent season for the Saints, and he’s pretty young.
  14. I would love to take our first 5 picks and invest it all on the LOS. In no specific order: 2 OL, 1 LB, 2 DL 1. KW is getting old. We need a DT. 2. We need an ede rusher on the DL if we only plan on rushing 4. 3. Incognito is going to be 35. Mills is not a starter. Ducasse is garbage. We literally need 2 starting OL. 4. I feel that McD would probably love to have a field general at LB like he had in Carolina. A LB that can be the leader of his defense for the next 10yrs. We have the picks. All of the above can be accomplished this draft; or at least attempted. Then the rest of the draft can be used for depth at DB, RB, LB.
  15. I dont want to get into franchise QB debates because the term itself is up for interpretation. Tyrod is a QB that, with a decent supporting cast around him, can win games (like the large majority of QBs in the NFL). Im a fan of Tyrod for what he brings to the table: 1. Explosive ability. He can throw the deep ball (when he has a deep threat) with the best of them. 2. He can sometimes make plays out of nothing with his ability to scramble and extend plays. His ability to run for first downs is elite. 3. He has elite ball security. For a QB that is as mobile as Tyrod his ability to protect the ball is ridiculous. He rarely ever fumbles. He rarely ever throws INT’s. His TD/Turnover ratio is about top 5 in the NFL. Where he needs to improve: 1. Gain trust with his WR. His ability to prevent turnovers is almost to his detriment. He needs to be able to put more trust in his receivers and throw the ball with a bit more anticipation and/or when the receiver isnt wide open. In his defense, he has had a carrousel at WR over the last two years and hasnt been able to gain chemistry with any single player. When it looked like him and Clay were starting to really click, Clay went down. That being said, he needs to still get over that mental hurdle and just sling it a little more. 2. Pocket presence. This Oline is arguably the worst he has had since being in Buffalo. Lets face it: Mills and Ducasse have no business starting. Wood is on his last legs, and Incognito is going on 35yrs old. We need a complete overhaul on the Oline (good thing we have a lot of draft picks!). That being said, he has a tendency to bail too quickly on plays. Maybe its bc hes a bit shorter so when the pocket collapses he wants a clear sight down field or maybe its just his scrambling instinct. Either way, he needs to learn how to shift within the pocket a little better without completely bailing out of the pocket and rolling out. So, in short, there is a a LOT thats good about Tyrod. A couple of things need improvement. I really think that Tyrod’s “deficiency” when it comes to slinging it a little more and trusting his WR can definitely improve once he finally has some stability at WR and he plays more games under the same offensive system. However, im not sure how much his pocket awareness can improve at this point. In that regard he may be who he is. Overall, hes one of the better QB’s in this league when you look at the total package he brings to the table. Is that a franchise QB? Well hes not a HOF and hes no Rodgers or Brady. But hes definitely better than about 15 other QB’s in the league in my opinion.
  16. I said it in another thread: we need to use these picks we have in 2018 to build an amazing OL and DL. We need to be able to dominate the LOS. Ducasse is garbage. Mills is garbage. Incognito is great but hes turning 35. Wood is average and not getting any younger. We have at least 2 glaring holes in the OL. We probably need a DT. Forget Dareus. In sum we need at least 3 players to upgrade the LOS battle on both sides of the ball. Its not overwhelming, but it needs to be done.
  17. Did you really just bump this thread to prove a point? What an idiot.
  18. Ill just leave this here and walk away: http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?t=124609 My favorite post: [A year and six games of underachieving offense, poor o-line play, and failure to recognize that their "run-first" model is inappropriate for this personnel. It's time for him to get the boot. The playcalling today was unforgivably putrid. Where are the screens, slants, quick passes, rhythm passes, pitches, getting the TEs involved? I kept wondering that and they finally did some of that and it worked, only for the drive to get killed by penalty and a missed FG. I literally could have called a better offense by randomly selecting Madden plays.] [The offense had zero, absolutely no creativity whatsoever until the game was just about out of reach. We were litteraly calling the same plays over and over again it seemed. How many times in the first half did we run right for nothing or negative yardage? Why are we not doing more play action, bootlegs, screens, pitch plays or SOMETHING to actually make opposing defenses have to think? And why not do some quick slant passes or screens or something to get TS in sync with his receivers? Nothing about the play calling tonight made sense.] ^^^^These are not Bills posts. These are Broncos posts.
  19. Irvin should go do 5 more lines of coke.
  20. Ill fully admit when TT has a subpar game. This game was lost in the trenches and with players fight/will to win. We were flat as a team. Coaching is 100% to blame for that.
  21. I advocated for this 3 weeks ago. I still stand by it. Dennison needs to go.
  22. The Jets were pumped as hell and came to play. We did not. We were still tweeting about the Benjamin trade and got caught with our pants down. Learn from this, or this season is over.
