When was the last time a team traded the farm for a player and the trade worked out for that team?

Dak playing poorly goes beyond missing Zeek. Alfred Morris and co. Have averaged well over 4.0ypc the last 3 weeks. The run game has still been effective. Dak has just flat out sucked and his team has been behind a lot the last 3 games.

This team is going to the Super Bowl. Hang on tight.

I agree it probably wont happen and it probably wont happen for the wrong reason: pride. Like you said, its not a good look for the HC and the GM. Firing Dennison is an admission that a mistake was made; a big mistake. McD has enough on his hands with this defense. He needs to have someone who is 100% competent at OC bc McD is a defensive guy. And who are the main minds on offense? Dennison and Castillo: 2 guys that have combined to do absolutely nothing in the NFL (on their own, as the head guys). Keeping Dennison for the sake of saving face is no different than cutting off your nose to spite your face. And like i said 2mo ago, forget about Tyrod. Is Dennison the guy you want nurturing a 1st rd QB for the next 3-5yrs? No way. So rip off the bandaid. Just do it.

Ha. Thats all we needed right? I read that here somewhere. Thats what was wrong with this offense - not having that amazing 3 step drop for an INT was what we were truly missing.

Bump. Do it. Do it now. 60yr old OC who has accomplished absolutely nothing in the NFL without being tied at the hip with Kubiak - the real offensive mind. Dennison is not innovative. His play calling suffers from lapses in judgment. His decision to bench Miller and start Ducasse is reprehensible. And though Castillo is garbage as well (another guy who has accomplished NOTHING in the NFL), the final buck stops with Dennison. Its his offense. If Ducasse is not performing then Dennison needs to make the move. Not castillo. But Dennison doesnt have Kubiak now to make the final decision, so he doesnt know what to do. The NFL is not the place for a 60yr old to get his feet wet for the first time all by himself with no other offensive mind to prop him up. FIRED.

Ridiculous. When the Oline was dominated vs the Panthers; vs the Bengals; and vs the Jets, it was Tyrod’s fault. Now when the Oline is dominated with Peterman in there, its really the O-line’s fault. Yes, the o-line is bad. Peterman didnt stand a chance. Tyrod wouldve at least given us more of a chance.

It can get worse than a QB that made the pro bowl 2 consecutive years? Of course it can; much worse. It started with the hiring of Dennison. Things got worse. It continued with the dismantling of the Oline. Things got even worse. The entire offensive system is a joke.

This line of thinking kinda gets me bonkers. Finding a Franchise QB that will play for the next 15 yrs and squeaking into the playoffs with TT aren't mutually exclusive endeavors. Some of the best young QB today were not drafted 1st overall.

The Chargers arent a great football team. What a nightmare.

This team appears to have completely given up. Not a good look for the coaching staff.

I remember everyone saying how Tyrod made the oline look bad. I remember everyone breaking down the All22 and saying we’ll be better with a gunslinging, quick release QB. I remember reading a lot of things can we tie our season turnover total in one game today?

Im way late to the party here. Excited to see what Nate can do; not surprised by the move. Im happy to see that McD and Co. had the cojones to do this halfway through the season. Go Bills!

I just dont follow what youre saying. You say his role was XYZ. Fine. But fact remains he played 34% of the defensive snaps. So 66% of the time his role was nonexistent and irrelevant. His loss hurts depth and maybe a couple of plays here and there in a game, but to say missing Dareus’ 34% of playing time is the main reason our run D sucks now is not accurate imo.
