The reason why im high on Whaley is bc i do feel the roster had a lot of talent while he was here. Easily the most talent up and down that roster in well over a decade. What hurts Whaley? Never found that QB. Tried (at least) but failed. And Rex Ryan. But Rexy wasnt really his doing as we all know.

If EJ Manuel pans out Whaley is the best GM we have since Polian (not saying much, but still)

I agree that what the mods have done considering the influx of posters is great. The downside for me was this massive influx of posters that were completely unrecognizable. It lost part of its charm. Hard to describe.

All i know is I preferred the old TBD, before the influx of new users from BBMB.

I think the most effective way of slowing down Brady (not stopping him) is to bring pressure only with your front 4 and leave the rest in coverage. If you blitz, you die. We wont be able to bring pressure with 4. I know it. You know it. Brady knows it. And im not blitzing. I rush 3 and put rest in coverage and start praying that there is a fumble and an INT somewhere. And then our offense needs to score 30.

Even conservative coaches go for it on 4th down every once in a while no? And didnt they decide to bring back Tyrod in the offseason? The fact that he was benched for 2 quarters doesnt make him river boat ron. If you think McD is anything but conservative and calculating, I dont know what to tell you. Im not saying its a bad thing necessarily. But dont make out McD to be a guy that is going to want to pass the ball 40x on offense regardless of who the QB is. McD himelf said during the offseason that he wanted to run shady into the ground, did he not? Hes a run the ball, control the clock, dont turn the ball over, and play good defense kind of coach. Aka: conservative.

McD is super conservative. Thats never going to change. Its going to be ugly many times bc if we’re up even one score, McD is going to want to go full on hermit mode. On the brightside, many of those ugly games can be wins over time.

White has been such a solid comtributor. Seems like such a grounded guy too. Happy for him.
