Priority: Develop Allen or Win Ugly?
bobobonators replied to Berky1010's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We need an offensive mind on this team. We havent had a decent offensive coach since Gailey. We are completely devoid of coaching and player talent on the offensive side. Its embarrassing. -
Is Josh Allen just a taller Tyrod Taylor
bobobonators replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My biggest concern isnt with Allen’s ability, it’s with the lack of offensive talent and offensive minds (coaches) on this team. Allen is facing an uphill battle unfortunately because no one on this coaching staff should be near an NFL offense. Add the fact that we have no offensive threats beyond a 30yr old shady. It’s clear Allen has not landed in a good spot. Hopefully he can stand the storm for a year or 2 so we can surround him with an Oline and 4 new WR. -

Sean McDermott: "Culture Trumps Strategy" ?
bobobonators replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In sports, winning above all else. You cant build sustainable culture without winning. Its a fact. All efforts need to be focused on winning; not building a choir group on Sundays. How do you build winners: 1. Talent, talent, talent; 2. Coaching; 3. Shared Vision/strategy. Culture is nothing without talent, not the other way around. It applies to all walks of life. You can be the most honorable person in the world, but at the end of the day you need talent to succeed in an ultra-competitive field. Someone who is below average at math can never be a mathematician, no matter what their study habits are. Someone who is not good in the sciences will never make it through medical school. Someone who cant physically pass an FBI pt test cant be an agent no matter how honorable that person really is. Most importantly, someone who cant block a 300lb DT (our entire Oline); someone who cant run fast and catch a football (our entire WR group), will never consistently win in the NFL bc they lack the talent to do so no matter what culture theyre entrenched in. Rant over. LAMP -

I only got to watch 1 quarter of that game. I didnt say he was bad. I said he lost the game and threw for 180yds. -

Does WGR think we can't hear Tyrod's cadence?

You need help. -
Fitzpatrick became the first quarterback in league history to pass for 400 yards in three consecutive games. 1230yds; 11TD; 4INT through 3 games. But somehow people love to point out how this was fitz being fitz. Lol. He should probably apologize for not throwing 15TD in 3 games or not throwing for 1500yds in 3 games. Bench him.

Heaven forbid a QB not put up Tom Brady numbers or Drew Brees numbers every week.

You should probably seek some help. Being honest. There is no shame in recognizing you have a problem. -

The OL Is Bad....How Do You Fix It?
bobobonators replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In a perfect world id draft a top nasty Center to work with Allen for the next 12yrs and then pay $$$ to a really good FA Guard to mentor that C. At least that way we would have 3/5 of the line done next season. Bring in a couple of lower level FA to replace the RT and the other G position. And repeat the strategy in 2020 and hopefully by the start of the 2020 seasom we have 5/5 good players on the Oline. -

bobobonators replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As is the story with several aspects of this team, we simply need more talent on the OL. We need at least one premier FA OL in the offseason and we need to draft an OL in the first two rounds. Thats at a minimum. An argumen can be made that we need 4 new Olinemen. Good luck. -

[Vague Title] The future is ok
bobobonators replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont know if the future is OK. I dont know if its bad either. Maybe by week 10 or 12 ill have a better idea. -
“He won more games than he lost at Buffalo”. Factual statement. Not subjective. 21-3 Jags!
-
He won more than he lost on the Bills. Not sure where you get “loses a whole bunch”.

Josh Gordon to be released-now traded to PATS
bobobonators replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one cares about Nathan Peterman. At a minimum hes a body. Hes available in case of injury. Josh Gordon isnt even that. -
Josh Gordon to be released-now traded to PATS
bobobonators replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The what if is gone in my opinion. Hes 27yrs old. He has played 11 football games in 4 years. Thats brutally bad. 1. Physically, what kind of football shape is he in? He hasnt played a full season his entire nfl career. He would never get through a 16game season this season without sustaining nagging injuries. 2. Mentally, what state is he in? Thats an even bigger question mark. There are both physical and mental concerns. Hes not 22/23 anymore. The what if’s were valid 3 years ago. The ship has sailed on this guy. -

Being an interesting guy is great and all, but if a team cant trust or depend on you to play on a week to week basis, then youre worthless at the NFL level. Its no different than the real world.
