  1. The medical definition of obesity is directly linked to BMI, which is an absolutely useless metric when it comes to athletes. Especially football players.
  2. I wouldve been much more concerned if they landed Jameis “crab legs” Winston
  3. I’m aware of the variations in pronunciation. I get that. My point is that this guy is trying to run a football/sports show and I cant recall any player, coach or analyst pronouncing routes as “Roots”; in the football world there is only one way to pronounce it.
  4. This guy said roots 2x. Brutal.
  5. Humanity > Nationalism. Always.
  6. This is tough. Used to be Kyle Williams. Now its Tre.
  7. Oliver started to come on towards the end of the season. Hopefully he learns from this.
  8. What narrative do I have? We are in May simply tossing ideas around. No one can project forward, the only thing we can do right now is look at performances from last year and take educated guesses. I gave you my reasons beyond those opponents last year doing poorly with their W/L records and it had to do with us still having a great defense and our QB being as good or better than most of our opponents I listed. QB’s we’re going to play: Fitzpatrick or a rookie - 2x Darnold - 2x Stidham - 2x Carr Tannehill tyrod taylor drew lock That’s 10 games vs QB’s that shouldnt strike fear in anyone and none of those QB’s are clearly better than ours. Then you have the likes of second yr QB Murray, Goff and Big Ben. It goes without saying that there will always be tough games every year in every schedule. I dont have a narrative, im trying to be objective. What’s your narrative? “It’s hard to win” ?
  9. im not sure what i want. Ideally, im hoping for both Brady and the Pats to suck this year. If I had to pick one though, id root for Brady over BB. If Brady sucked and the Pats were still really good id be pissed off.
  10. ah man, i havent thought of Maybin in forever. mike williams has to be one of the worst of all time.
  11. we’re not living in 2000 anymore.
  12. Good post. i guess im just being optimistic in May. Other than the Seahawks, 49ers, and Chiefs, not a single team we play has a QB that is clearly better than ours (I dont consider big ben clearly better at this point in his career). We already know our defense is going to be better than most, so when you factor in that our QB is also going to be better than most of the teams’ QB’s we’re playing, I see a lot of wins for us. worst case i see 10-6. Best case 12-4. Again, i understand we’re in May. Stuff happens.

  14. I think one thing some people are overlooking is mindset and how important that is in sports. The fear is gone folks. Say what you want about Brady or BB and who was the responsible for their success, but it was a package deal playing the pats. You knew Tom Brady was there and you knew it was going go be hard as F to play the pats and beat them. For some teams - especially the Bills - we practically lost the game before we ever stepped on that field. I have no doubt players had it in the back of their mind that “here we go again, we can never beat these guys.” Thats gone. With Tom Brady gone do you think any NFL player worth their salt is going to say “I dont know if we can beat Stidham.” And even more importantly, do you think Patriots players will have the confidence and swagger with Stidham leading them? Will they feel invincible? I doubt it. Im not saying the Patriots will be the Bengals. But theyre just another team now. The mystique is gone. Some of you may not believe in that stuff, but man do I think mindset is so important in sports.
  15. you can play this critical game every year with respect to the schedule and find a reason why team X is dangerous. It is the NFL after all. But right now, being objective, the Jets were not good, the Dolphins were not good, the Patriots no longer have Brady, the Chargers dont have Rivers, the Broncos were not good, the Raiders were not good, and the Cardinals were not good. Cardinals - 5-10-1 Jets - 7-9 Dolphins - 5-11 Raiders - 7-9 Chargers - 5-11 Broncos - 7-9 Thats 8 games vs teams with a losing record last year, 3 of which were brutally bad. The Steelers dont scare me like they used to. The Titans arent a perennial powerhouse. The Rams appear to be going backwards. The Patriots should not be an automatic 2 losses now. If we dont split against them then thats on us. The Seahawks, Chiefs, 49ers will be the toughest games where we probably wont be favored to win.
  16. Am I In the minority to think this schedule is easy? Its normally doom and gloom with tough schedules most years, but: jets suck dolphins suck patriots dont have brady cardinals suck raiders suck we play all west coast teams at home chargers dont have rivers broncos suck i see two almost guaranteed losses: chiefs and 49ers. the rest of the games im not scared of a single team. The steelers arent what they used to be either. 12-4 here we come. GO BILLS!!!!
  17. Who the heck cares. NFL MVP this season. Hes laughing at you.
  18. We could've drafted Tom Brady as well. No complaints there?
  19. I really like Josh Allen and he has 100% of my support as a fan. The numbers between him and Wilson do seem similar; however, I still feel that Wilson was a more polished passer at this point in his career. I know the numbers dont necessarily reflect that but I do not remember Wilson missing as many open receivers as Allen has. Again, this is not meant to be a criticism of Allen. Maybe im just jaded since I watch Allen more.
  20. I think Poyer will be 30 when hes up for his next contract. While not super old for a safety, i think the presence of Jaquan, plus the price that Poyer will deservedly demand, we part ways. this is a tough question. I can see it going either way.
