Patriots @ Bills 9/30/2012 Game Thread
bobobonators replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ganesh: What do you want fitz to do? Throw for 700yds and 7td's in one game??? Holy crap your nuts. The patriots didn't punt a single time the second half. Every drive: TD. You're a fool if you think this loss doesn't fall on the defense. Damn dude -

45 !@#$ing points in 1.5 quarters. That doesn't happen in high school. And we're talking about fitzpatrick -

"They won't lose three in a row" -- anyone else sick of he

exactly, WHEN we beat the Pats, it'll be more about what's wrong with the Pats than what's right with the Bills. -
Guess Who Is 27th In The NFL In Passing Yards...
bobobonators replied to Pitta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LOL..so true. I never really got into fantasy football, but was big into fantasy baseball for several years. It just never felt right though: I would be forced to root against my team's players at times and/or hope players from teams i hate succeed. Less stress now without it. -
Guess Who Is 27th In The NFL In Passing Yards...
bobobonators replied to Pitta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i get my jollies from being 2-1 in a league where the saints are 0-3, the pats are 1-2, and pitt is 1-2. i suggest you do the same. -
I really don't think it's fair to dismiss the win b/c the browns "suck". Parity in the NFL this year is insane - I don't need to point out the number of upsets so far this season. This was a road game, in bad weather, where the bills lost their best offensive player and we never gave up the lead and were able to put the game away in the 4th. Great win.
-
I agree completely. The focus coming into the season was clearly our "upgraded" pass-rush but the real improvement has been to the run defense. I'm just hoping taht Gilmore and Williams mature sooner rather than later b/c they're being exposed at times.
-
Same here. But I think the entire team literally deflated after the spiller injury..they were probably thinking, "great, here we go again, lost best offensive player two weeks ago, and now lost best offensive player today". I thought we were going to blow it but credit to the players for keeping their heads in the game and putting the game away in the 4th. As a side, a win away from home in bad weather is a great win no matter the opponent. Everyone belittled our win last week vs. the Chiefs and then this week the Chiefs go into NO and beat the saints. This NFL is nuts. Any win is a big win. Go Bills!

ya i have no idea what was going on in the secondary yesterday. it's a young secondary so we may be seeing more of this unfortunately. lol. ya man, it was brutal. we need to regroup. it's 1 game. we lost what, 9 of the last 10 vs the Jets? It's unacceptable...but in retrospect, the jets were going into this game witha chip on their shoulder b/c all preseason they've been ripped apart...the ny post had a clown bus on the cover for the jets for crying out loud..lol. the bills were flat..the jets were in mid-season form. we need to be 1-1 after next week.
-
i think the biggest issue yesterday was that Sanchez got rid of the ball pretty quickly; our DB's were not jamming at the LOS and giving the Jets' WR's way too much room off the LOS. There were a couple of plays however where sanchez had time and the pass rush was non-existent...but overall he got the ball out of there pretty quick. a piss-poor game all-around.

ray rice exceeded expectations at rutgers too; ravens shouldn't have drafted him. laughs on them i suppose..silly ravens
-
i'd like Sanu at WR from rutgers.

Warren Sapp files for bankruptcy
bobobonators replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The character of TBD? Sapp probably has dozens of bastard children across the U.S. and he has p*ssed away tens of millions of dollars in a decade. 99% of the reports regarding Sapp's attitude have been negative over the years. The guy's a clown and I get giddy watching people like him ruin their lives. -
Warren Sapp files for bankruptcy
bobobonators replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
probably more like $270k/year b/c if they're paying him by the month, i doubt they pay him during the off season. regardless, must be really hard for him to make ends meet -
rico, just b/c there aren't many puerto ricans playing in the NFL doesn't mean you have to be ripping on white LBs and i could be wrong, but the post that you quoted was not referring to Luke, rather stephen hill

lolol. or maybe he's the next urlacher...

I'd take Kuechly at #10 and then go offense for pretty much every other pick...WOOT!!!!!
-
major bump to this thread now that we have signed Anderson, no way in hell are we taking DL at #10. If Kuechly is there at 10, our MLB position will be filled for the next decade and our defense will be pretty sick (imo). i'm salivating.

Bills trading up for Tannehill?
bobobonators replied to BRAWNDO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
tannehill is going to drop on draft day. the notion that anyone is going to actually trade UP to get this guy is absurd. no one trades up to obtain questionable talent. -
ILB position is critical on a 4-3D..as opposed to 3-4. so if there's an elite talent, like kuechly, at 10..i personally wouldn't consider it much of a reach at all.
-
if we get mario, i would definitely have no problem getting kuechly at 10 if he's still there. it's not like we're exactly "loaded" at LB anyway. if mario screws us, then i'd be more inclined to go with pass-rushing DL at 10

Mario Williams: Officially a Buffalo Bill
bobobonators replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really can't believe there are people in this thread that actually have reservations about giving mario a big contract. 1. we need pass rush; 2. williams is the biggest/best FA pass-rusher; 3. we have A LOT OF MONEY IN CAP SPACE.. holy crap, talk about no-brainer. imagine having a DL of Ingram, Dareus, Williams, Mario. -
[closed]Vincent Jackson ='s Bad Contract
bobobonators replied to Booger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lol..Jackson isn't good enough for the bills now? LMAO. ok. Mario Williams isn't worth the money; Jackson isn't worth the money; Peyton isn't worth the picks; that's right, no one's worth it for buffalo..lets just continue doing what we're doing since it's working so well. also, VJ just TURNED 29 in January and is still in the prime of his career. Is Andre Johnson an "elite" receiver? He's been in the league two more years than VJ and only has 2 more 1000 seasons (johnson has 5 and VJ has 3). but ya, you're right, the bills don't need a 6'5 red zone threat...those kinds of players are definitely not worth it. -
1. It's not a career-ending injury so calm down. 2. Jackson is 31 with the legs of a 25/27 yr old. 3. FJ has been tearing it up the last 2 seasons..I think he can play.
