  1. Quote me one person who said that. Nobody is saying that. The bills O made some drives, the defense played well. End of story. Hopefully that happens every week.
  2. pull up Chandler's numbers with Romo and you'll see. Wait, I'll do it for you: 9 games, 0 yards, 0 TD.
  3. you're obviously not following: i'm not saying it's OK - I'm stating the obvious: Graham dropped a ball and HE let the offense down, followed by a poor pass by Fitz on the following play, where that missed pass let the offense down as well - Hence, it's a TEAM GAME. Thus, when we win, it's not just b/c of Fitz and when we lose it's not just because of Fitz. But around here, the latter part of that statement is simply forgotten. I don't see you getting blue in the face over Graham's dropped ball or Freddy's fumble on the first play of the game.
  4. who cares if he's a rookie? was he not starting? i'm not giving anyone a pass. Fitz should've made the following throw accurately..my basic point is that it's a TEAM GAME. (I.E., WHEN YOU'RE UP 21-7 VS. THE PATS HALF WAY THROUGH THE 3RD QUARTER AT HOME, YOUR DEFENSE SHOULDN'T GIVE UP 140 POINTS IN 18 MINUTES)
  5. you're going to be getting crapola in the 2nd and 3rd rounds b/c you're going to be trading away those picks, along with a 1st rounder or two to boot.. the fact that we're tied for 1st in the division and you're going on a rant about our 2013 draft is nuts. how about you wait until the season plays itself out before you trade away the entire draft for a QB. By the way, I like how you mention Luck and RGIII but leave out Cam Newton...all the rage here last year was how Cam Newton was the second coming of Jesus Christ. What's their record this year? They have a "young nucleus" of talent too and fat chance they're going 11-5 anytime soon. and for the 100th time, everyone who points out to the success of Stevie, Chandler, the O-line, Nelson (when not injured), "the young nucleus", etc while at the same time crucifying Fitz is really being unfare. Of course they deserve credit for solid production but their play doesn't occur in vacuum. Chandler and Stevie were nobodies before coming to buffalo and hooking up with Fitzpatrick. Kudos to them for picking up their game, and kudos to fitz as well. maybe the Panthers can draft Geno as well, and then they'll have two super duper QB's that are both better than Fitz..and then in 2014 they can pick top 3 again and draft another QB so they can have 3 super duper QB's on their roster that are better than Fitz..and then in 2015...
  6. i'd argue that if Graham caught a perfectly thrown ball to him on the previous play, he would've kicked a potential GW FG. it's a TEAM GAME. Funny how there aren't 1,200,456 threads ripping on Freddie for fumbling on THE VERY FIRST PLAY OF THE GAME. Imagine if Fitz threw a pick on his first pass? The servers would go down at twobillsdrive.
  7. really? what did Chandler and Stevie ever do before Fitz became their QB? Absolutely NOTHING.
  8. i'm not in love with Fitz, but i'm not delusional enough to think that either Thigpen or Jackson give us a better shot to win against NE or Houston (or anyone else). So having said that, what's the alternative? We don't have one this season. So lets suck it up and move the F on.
  9. in his world they did. it's the same world where Jackson starting on the Bills would automatically make us favorites vs. the Patriots and a "push" (whatever that means in the real non-betting world) vs. the Texans. his world is a happy world where just about any QB can lead a team to a win on Sundays.
  10. you're nuts man. wow you're delusionally nuts.
  11. LOL...you guys keep asking for Jackson. Why not ask for Thigpen? He's 2nd on the depth charts...only in Buffalo is the third string QB the most popular QB. You guys are getting sadder by the day.
  12. i'll vote after we play 16 games.
  13. i love it. the problem around here is that the grass is always greener...imagined perception turns into reality when some fans watch 10 - 25% of other teams' games
  14. what reality are you talking about? did you look at the Chargers yesterday in the second half and the broncos in the first half? did you not see the Cardinals beat the Patriots in NE, the bengals lose to the browns, and the saints get slammed by the chiefs at home? the ENTIRE afc (except for 2 teams) is either .500 or below. the only reality I've seen so far is that anyone in the AFC can be beaten.
  15. i like it b/c we definitely need depth/leadership at the LB position...i thought Bradham played a pretty good game against the cards though when he was in there..wouldn't mind seeing more of him. To me, Bradham is already better than Scott.
  16. great points. agree with all of them. Great post
  17. hey look at this, another "our team is great, but our QB sucks" thread...only the 10th on the first page.
  18. why must every single post contain a "fitz sucks" point? What did Chandler ever do before coming to Buffalo? Nothing. Everything Stevie has done has been with Fitz..what did he do before Fitz? Nothing. the loss of Nelson was huge b/c him and Fitz have good chemistry and Nelson has superb hands...I like what i've seen from Graham so far and he may turn into a good player...Chandler has been our best receiver so far and Stevie has been solid but him and Fitz don't seem to be on the same page this season at times. Yes, Fitz has not been very accurate this season (even for him), but there have also been several plays where the WR's either don't go up and fight for the ball (stevie 3rd INT vs. pats) or drop very catchable balls as well (Smith on 3rd down in goal line vs. 49ers/Graham yesterday against cards). in terms of "pure" talent, our WR corps needs an upgrade...Brad Smith and Jones are pretty bad WR's.
  19. The defense needs to continue to improve, we need to give Freddy and CJ more touches (40-50 combined total) and limit Fitz to less than 30 attempts. Yesterday, cj and freddy had a combined 37 touches, but Fitz had 32 pass attempts - still too many. if we can do those three things effectively, there is no reason this team can't finish 9-7 this season.
  20. An INT does not cancel out a TD. A TD is an automatic 6 points whereas an INT is an automatic 0 points. That's what the defense is paid millions and millions of dollars to do: stop the opponent. The offense is paid to score...it's really that simple. Exactly. 3-3 and tied for 1st in the division and people want the 3rd string QB to become starter. How about we work on Jackson making it to second string on the depth chart first?
  21. instead of making excuses for other players, why not rally behind a player and a team that is 3-3 and tied for 1st? the grass is eternally greener..
  22. I was being fair, the other poster wasn't by disregarding the huge TD disparity.
  23. b/c in 13 more games, fitz has 42 more TD's? you do the math...same caliber
