  1. 1. Bjoern Werner - DE - FSU - 6'4 256. A german tank. You can never have enough DE's..especially when half the ones you got are average. 2. Tyler Eifert - TE - ND - 6'5 252. 3. Justin Hunter - WR - TEN - 6'4 200 4. Matt Elam - SS - Florida - 5'10 202 5. Manti Te'o - LB - ND - 6'2 255 If we could get 2 of those 5 in the first 2 rounds i'd be extremely happy. Post yours! Obviously I'd love Geno Smith but no way we're getting him, considering we'll be picking anywhere between 8-14. He'll be gone 1 or 2 probably.
  2. this team has so many issues i don't know where to begin: 1. it all starts with chan - he relies on the passing game way too much. 2. we don't have a true #1 WR/premier WR. SJ's catch yesterday should've been taken to the house being that he had 3 steps on the DB. Our WR had like 3 drops yesterday to boot. 3. our LB's are piss-poor. 4. Fitz is too inconsistent...he'll hit 8 or 9 in a row and then he'll go 2 - 12. 5. Our O-line can't pass protect for longer than 2.5 seconds. 6. Our O-line has no balls and can never convert a 3rd and short. We're soft. 7. We have a kicker who apparently can't even attempt a 50yd FG in a !@#$ING DOME??
  3. as i've said before, this team needs a RT. Neither Pears or Hairston cut it if a play takes longer than 2.5 seconds to develop.
  4. Stafford has simply failed to meet expectations. #1 overall pick and after 4 years 1 playoff appearance.. He's closer to the "bust" label than he is to sniffing the playoffs again. Stafford: 2,988yds 12 TD, 10INT Fitzpatrick: 2,179yds, 17TD, 10INT I wonder what numbers Stafford would put up here in Buffalo without Calvin Johnson.
  5. i'm just saying MY nuts are more valuable than Gronk on the Bills' roster.
  6. i think there are only two keys to this game: 1. Win turnover battle 2. Have the defense show up If those two things happen, we should easily win this game. The bills are the better team overall, imo. But if the defense allows the Colts to put up 30 points and we have silly INT's and/or fumbles we'll lose like 34 - 27 or some crap like that.
  7. I would give your right nut to have Gronk as our starting TE next to Chandler.
  8. horrible news for the pats. this seriously affects their offense. that being said, maybe they'll only score 40 on the jets now
  9. i agree, that one will come back to bite us in the ars.
  10. Stafford has probably the best WR in the NFL and he has seriously looked questionable at times. He's been around now a few years and the lions have yet to get over the hump. Newton could possibly be a complete headcase and his record/stats speak for themselves. RGIII I like a lot, but we'll see how healthy his career is.. What I'm saying is that I feel this offense can be successful with the offensive scheme in place and Fitz running it. I'd obviously take Luck in a heartbeat..
  11. i've watched Cam Newton play, he looks good good at 2-7. RGIII looks super at 3-7; Sam Bradford is stellar at 3-5; Stafford at 4-5; Gabbert at 1-8; Weeden at 2-7; Tannehill at 4-6; etc. Luck has been solid but look at the Colts' remaining games - they won't be above .500 much longer. All these QB's taken in the last 2 years or so aren't doing crap to put wins up for their teams. Keep ripping on me all you want, but I like Fitz and the understanding he and Gailey have of this offense. Fitz is only 29, it's not like the guy is 35 and there's no hope for the future. Keep adding to the offense by upgrading at WR and adding to the OL. Above all, add to the defense/LB, especially.
  12. Though WR isn't a top priority, we could definitely use an explosive/physical WR on this roster (ala Julio Jones)..that pick would be more of a luxury at this point but without Nelson, our WR corps is average at best..looking at our WR/TE corps, they're really a bunch of cast aways and late, late round draft picks (excluding Graham..but it's not like he was a very high pick either). That being said, definitely need LB and maybe even CB over WR at this point..
  13. Exactly why i'm not crazy about drafting a QB in the 1st if we pick 8-12.
  14. lol..stop. Why don't you start keeping track of "almost INT's" too now. I'll keep track of "almost TD's"..like the one Jones dropped right in the endzone after fitz threw it right at his hands. The offense wasn't effective in the sense that we were unable to FINISH drives, but the offense in the first half moved the ball up and down the field, dominated the time of possession the entire game and kept tacking onto the lead. The only complaint I had about last night's game from an offensive perspective is the same complaint i've had for several years now: we can't run it down their throats on 3rd and 1 or 3rd and short. There were three drives that ended yesterday b/c we were unable to convert on short yardage (the first one choice was stuffed, the second one was when Fitz threw out of an empty backfield, and the third was actually on 1st down at the goal line to end the half)...we shouldn't be passing in those downs and we should be able to just run it down their throats with our offensive line..but we can't..we need to seriously improve in that aspect. Other than that, the offense pretty much did enough to manage the game and definitely not lose it. That being said, game ball obviously goes to the defense yesterday. Truly their best effort of the season. Great showing.
  15. lol..no one is saying the defense has to keep Brady to 10 points...but how about in the 20's? 30? Other teams do it. Heaven knows we've spent enough money on the defensive side..I don't think it's asking too much to keep them under 30.
  16. quite frankly, b/c their QB is Tom Brady. The "Tom Brady does it, why can't Fitz" argument is absurd.
  17. Exactly. Lets say we only win 2 out of those 4 (b/c as people here like to say - fitz sucks). We'd still be 5-4 and looking good right now. No one here is saying Fitz is a top 10 QB, but the offense ranks 15th in yds/game and 17th in pts/game; Fitz ranks 8th in TD passes. The defense ranks second to last in yds/game and dead last in points per game, giving up 31.7 a game. The disparity couldn't be clearer. We need significant help at LB and we still need help at DB.
  18. if you break down the roster: DL appears to be set..at least for the starters (whether they're effective, that's a different story..) LB - we need two new starting LB's..we're not going to get 2 starters from the draft, but we could definitely get 1. This is our most glaring need imo. DB- as depressing as this is, we still need help at CB; also, george wilson is a very average, to below average, safety...when was the last time we ever saw george wilson make a play?..ANY kind of play? probably like 2-3 years ago.. QB - most of you know i'm a fitz supporter, but we still need to have someone behind him ready to go..at the very least, upgrade the depth at that position. RB - deepest position. WR - with Nelson I'd say our WR corps could be above average..without Nelson we're just average. Stevie is solid, but lets face it, we don't havve premier talent at this position. Everyone is either a very late, late draft selection or picked up the scrapheap. We'll see what Graham develops into as the season closes out. The pick could be foolish, but i'm almost itching to Draft a top WR if the situation presents itself..that's of the mentality that the offense is clearly stronger than the defense for the Bills, so keep adding to your strength to make it even better..but again, that would be more of a Raiders type pick at this point..lol. OL - We're OK, but i'm not sold at the RT position. We only have so many options via the draft to address these various needs, but to me LB, DB should be addressed EARLY in the draft.
  19. I love posts like this. Brady is probably 1 or 1A ALL !@#$ING TIME at the QB position.
  20. Fitz is not the problem on the team - far from it; Fitz is merely the scapegoat for fed-up fans. When the problems of a franchise are too great to count, the easiest solution for fans is to point the finger at the QB.
  21. you're clearly clueless.
  22. you make NO SENSE..a qb taht goes 10-25 this game and we lose the game 38-10.. The Pats punted 1 time this game.
  23. hey man, looking at your sig..must've been great to be at the Texans game when JP and Lee Evans went insane. Sucks most of those games on your sig have been losses..you got some good cities on there though
  24. this is how I judge: with Jauron i had many more moments where I literally wanted to go through the TV and lay Dicky out...I've had a couple of moments with Gailey, but not nearly as many..
