we don't even have to look at another game, look at Bradford's numbers from yesterday: worse than Fitz but somehow they get the win. Why? 1. Coaching; 2. WR making CIRCUS catches on the last drive; 3. Wilson dropping two INT's on the last drive. He gets the win though. He didn't make it happen, his WR's made it happen. He had at least 2 piss-poor throws that drive that his WR's pulled out of their ass. SJ drops a ball right at his hands. -

Horrible drives for sure. But lets also not forget that in one of those drives Fitz threw a perfect strike to SJ right in his hands that SJ, our #1 WR, failed to grab. That would've been a key 3rd down conversion. Would we have scored? Who knows, but at the very least we would've killed another 2 minutes or so of time probably. There's plenty of blame to go around guys. -
Fred Jackson - torn MCL, out for season

somehow he'll still manage to get more touches than CJ in last 3 games. -

the fact that gailey made him throw 32 times in a close, low-scoring game in rainy/snowy weather is inexcusable. it's actually a !@#$ing joke. spiller and freddy should've carried the team yesterday - it was a perfect day for it. -
anyone else kind of glad the season is over?
bobobonators replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i'm not. i actually still had some hope we could run the table and finish 9-7...next best thing for me right now is to hope that Jets have a playoff chance last week of season and we DESTROY them 53-3..that game will be my playoffs and super bowl all in one. -
8-8 will at least be an improvement from last season.

The Marshawn Lynch trade; three years later
bobobonators replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i agree with other posters on here..the lynch trade was simply b/c of the issues he had and how it didn't seem he wanted to be in buffalo. he'll probably run for 120yds vs us this weekend. gotta agree with this. the first sin was drafting a RB so high when we had so many other needs. the second sin is not even freaking USING him when he's proven to be the most explosive offensive player we have. what a joke. -
Would you take this if there were no other option?

Schiano went to the Bucs after Freeman had a pretty poor season last season and look at them now. Harbaugh w/Alex Smith in SF turned them into a championship-level team. We have some pieces in place guys..we need the COACH to take us over the hump. We'll probably finish 7-9 this season. A different coach could easily have this same group of players at 9-7..there's no doubt in my mind. -

Ugh..no thanks. I want fresh blood if we're to fire chan. Since none of the premier coaches (cowher) will ever come to b-lo, I'd prefer to go the way of the bucs and 49ers: get a young college coach with an attitude and some fire who has something to prove. That's the way I want to go. The nfl has evolved, and the notion that college coaches can't win in the NFL is no longer true: see schiano, harbaugh, carroll. 3 of the more exciting teams in the nfl. -
Look at teams like the vikings, jets, and even seahawks (though russel has def been playing solidly): they win for the most part in spite of their QB play. Good defense, run the ball, ask your QB to make just enough plays. Here in buffalo, it's the opposite. Chan passes to set up the run apparently. I don't get it. Our biggest threats on offense are our RBs and the focal point of the offense in a close, low-scoring, snowy/rainy game is the pass. !@#$ing pathetic
-
at the end of the day there's only one thing i take out of this game: Gailey may need to retire. Fitz almost had as many "rushes" as CJ. !@#$ING PATHETIC. It's not as if we were down 27 - 10 and it's a sunny 80degree day in Miami..no, no..we're WINNING the entire game, it's snowing/raining, and it's cold out - so lets pass the ball and leave CJ on the sidelines. Fisher is sending Chan a Thank You card for Xmas.
-
Will choice get more carries than CJ next week?
bobobonators replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LMFAO. Could you imagine? -
we probably won't resign CJ anyway..there's no room for explosive high-impact players on this team. instead, we'll just give kelsay another extension.
-
Chan NOT the man for the job going forward.
bobobonators replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yup -
how CJ gets ignored in this offense on a rainy/snowy ****ty day is unacceptable..a disgrace. and i love freddy, but holy crap the guy does nothing but fumble this year. at the end of the day the team simply finds a way to lose..always. the rams were making circus catches on that last drive to get the win. SJ drops a pass right at his hands on 3rd down...offense had no spark today. nothing.

how about this, we leave the conversation where I started it? The point of the thread was simple: tied for 9th in TD's and 18th in salary this year. If you want to go on about QBR, that's fine, you can go there all you want man. And for TD's over turnovers, I'll leave it at this: a TD is an automatic 6 points, and an INT is not. PERIOD. There is this thing called a DEFENSE that gets paid to stop the other team from scoring from that INT/turnover.
-
this is a two-way street, you also have to have your defense give you the ball back eventually. Where does the Bills Offense rank as opposed to the Defense in productivity? Yes, lets talk about "continuing" drives on offense vs. the defense "ending" drives for the opponent. Lets have that conversation.
