  1. I'm referring to Fitz in a backup role/spot-starter. Again, look around the league and tell me how many backup QB's are CLEARLY better than Fitz. I can go around the league and list at least 7-10 STARTING QB's who Fitz has outperformed the last 3yrs.
  2. I agrree. Looks like a 1980s cartoon
  3. Lol..this is probably ur worst nightmare ryan
  4. Ur hatred is foolish. Have you bothered to look at backup QB's around the league? I think fitz has a lot to offer
  5. Yet he would instantly be the 2nd best WR on the bills. Sad
  6. Good move if it happens. Considering the average to below average caliber of QB's in this draft class, Fitz at least gives us a lot more depth at the QB position. If a rookie comes in and struggles at least we know Fitz is capable of coming in and winning a few games for us, which can't be said for many teams in the NFL.
  7. I'll say it again: SJ tweeting, rapping, celebrating after a TD don't bother me (though the penalties do, but whatever)...but him not striving to be his best does bother me. I don't have personal access to SJ's workout routines. I'm taking it from the horses mouth now. I always assumed he put his work in during the offseason, and the SJ that we see every season is the best-prepared SJ we're going to get. I'm finding this nonsense out now, however, and I don't like it. Clear?
  8. That is still a problem IMO. I don't want a player to just go through the motions, or do just enough to get another 1,000yd season...i want a player to reach his maximum potential, and if you don't train for your maximum potential, you're never going to get there. Maybe SJ already is at his maximum, who the heck knows, but I don't want to wonder, "damn, i wonder if SJ coulud get us 1,500yds and 12tds if he trained his a$$ off in the offseason"..that's my point. Again, I really like Stevie and i doubt he does asbolutely NOTHING during the offseason, but i also fear that there may be some truth in his silly statements, and if that's the case, it really disappoints me.
  9. The entire point for me is as follows: Stevie has produced for us (relative to the rest of the team) but his production when you look at other #1 WR's across the league is average to above average at best. When Stevie can put up Calvin Johnson numbers, or anywhere near that, maybe then he can sit on his butt all offseason and "recover." Calvin Johnson is already recognized as the #1 or #1a WR in the NFL so even mentioning him in this discussion is absurd - Stevie is more known for his big drops and antics after scoring than he is for his production, that is the difference. So that being the case, for Stevie to sit back and rest on his laurels (which in reality aren't that impressive to begin with), is quite disappointing. Also, Merriman not only overtrained, but he used PED's. To me, it's Stevie's mentality that bothers me...he referenced his 1,000yd seasons as if that's anywhere near the top in the NFL for a WR. I want players who always strive for the best at their position. The off-season is freaking long enough for the BILLS every single season b/c we never make the playoffs..I think that from January to June/July, Stevie has plenty of time to "rest" and then start training for the new season.
  10. I think it's pretty significant. The fact that he led the team in yds and was the biggest producer at WR for the bills doesn't make anything "moot". You're telling me that there isn't a difference between receiving 1,000yds and say 8TD compared to 1,400yds and 10td? SJ has been in the league for a while now and he only realized NOW that hey, maybe i should actually put in some work in the offseason? His plan "worked" for him for 1,000 yds, but last time I checked he wasn't near the top of the league for WR's...so settling for just being the best Bills' WR is good enough? Woopy !@#$ing do..we have Donald Jones and Ruvell Martin and Brad Smith at WR. What an accomplishment. Him celebrating in the endzone and getting a penalty i can deal with. Him not giving 100% during the offseason I can't. Last time I checked, Jerry Rice didn't sit on his ass in the offseason and he was the best WR in the NFL. Why wouldn't you want to continue improving? Why wouldn't you want to reach your maximum potential? I never had a problem with this before b/c quite frankly i never KNEW SJ didn't train during the offseason...I simply assumed he did. SJ is my favorite Bills player but man, this really gets to me. If anything, train your hands during the offseason, b/c god knows that SJ has had some of the biggest drops for the Bills in recent memory. Unacceptable.
  11. dodge farmer commercial was #1 for me; followed by Jeep, #2; followed by the Audi at #3; followed by Taco Bell at #4..the rest were all "eh" (imo). i also thought the godaddy one where the guy creates the web site and is on the plane w/patrick flying the plane was kinda funny, but not overwhelmingly special.
  12. Don't forget Trent Edwards.
  13. Yup. Example: No one was happy when we traded up for McCargo; people really questioned taking Hardy so high; and everyone was left scratching their heads when we selected Graham in the 3rd round when 1. no one knew who he was and 2. many "experts" had him going in the 7th/undrafted. Plenty of other examples. But when we took Lynch, Poz, and Edwards at the time I thought that was the best draft we'd had in years.
  14. Exactly. The 49ers thought that Kaep was such a no-brainer that they waited until the 2nd round to draft him. Much the same way the seawawks were so high on Wilson that they waited until the 3rd round to get him as well. Sometimes a little luck is required as well.
  15. At the time, this draft looked great. Go figure.
  16. this is one of the deepest drafts for TE's in a while. i really like Travis Kelce from cincy and he could be there in the 3rd round. good at both receiving and blocking.
  17. same here man. best tats and piercings on team too.
