@Browns - Thursday Night Football
bobobonators replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great post man. Thanks for the info. I forgot about Mingo! LMFAO -
i'm pretty surprised that the kneel downs at the end of the game have generated 3 pages of discussion. I really don't see the controversy.

@Browns - Thursday Night Football
bobobonators replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ya, what looked to be a pretty "winnable" game before the season started now appears to be a pretty tough road game. Then again, I also thought we had no chance of beating the Ravens today, so maybe I'm still underestimating our Bills. Can't wait for Thursday night! Completely agree. I expect Woods to have a decent game against their other corner, Skrine. -
I actually don't have a problem with not running it. Over the past few years we've all witness how both Freddy and CJ cough up the ball at the most inopportune times. Granted, the likelihood of them fumbling there would be low, but we're the Bills and that **** tends to happen quite often. With five seconds left i'd just tell the punter to punt the ball as high as possible and out of bounds.

I haven't watched a single Browns game this season - only highlights. Brian Hoyer has put up decent numbers in his first 2 starts and the team as a whole has responded to what appeared to be their FO's attempt to tank the season. They just beat the Bungals today, holding them to 6 points (though the Bengals are so hot/cold it's hard to gauge just how good they are). Anyone who lives near Cleveland and/or follows the Browns have any solid insight? Hopefully this game will be much easier on the eyes than the prime time showing the Bills and the Browns had a few years back..lol.

Eh, not sure. The D's turnovers won us the game today. Though Spiller has been limping around lately, NH apparently doesn't know how to get him the ball in open space. I didn't see the first half though..so sorry if I'm wrong.

Yup, McKelvin too. Lets hope Gilmore is even better when he gets back! Woot! -

I posted this in another thread, but I truly think A. Williams is (by far) the most improved player on the Bills roster this season. Holy crap he's been good. I guess that goes to show how coaching can bring the best out of certain players. -
I was only able to watch the 2nd half today; but between the highlights and what i saw from A Williams, holy crap what a difference a year makes. A. Williams = most improved player on the Bills roster by far (imo). Great win. Earlier in the week i saw 0 chance the Bills won today, boy was I wrong. So glad to be wrong. This team showed a lot of character today.

Tell me more about drafting CBs...

While i dont disagree with you completely, theres also something to be said about the lack of pass rush by our HIGHLY PAID dline that only exploited our crappy secondary even more. Genos bombs dont occur if mario is in his face or puts him on his arse. Look at what the panthers secondary did to the giants' high octane passing game yeaterday. Scrubs looked like pro bowlers bc eli was on his arse all game. The key is always in the dline. Sure, coverage sacks can happen but in todays nfl good luck relying on coverage sacks. Our pass rush is too inconsistent. That being said, the jets had a perfect game plan yeaterday and made a lot of quick passes to counter pass rush and then geno made some great deep throws. Kudos to them. -
I think steelers are done. Big Ben was always a nice QB with a great team. But with an average team he doesnt have the tools to elevate those around him. IMO

Saying how he doesnt like that schiano runs a tight ship apparently. Why cant these clowns just shut up and play football

RE watched/studied bills/jets- EJ n CJ not so bad

Well said. -
This. I get the sunday ticket and to keep my sanity i just start following teams that have been down on their luck in recent years and appear to be turning it around...hawks, bengals, rams, etc. Or, if u have the income, just make weekly bets for a hundred bucks or so and youll find yourself glued to the tv

Hacketts scheme is a major issue!
bobobonators replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unfortunately I have to agree with your points. I was excited about the Marrone hiring, but I think most of us were concerned about the Hackett signing - and we're starting to see why. We're not playing college defenses; the likes of Rex Ryan, Bellichek and Harbaugh will tear this offense to shreds if we don't make changes. -
Look at what the Panthers did vs. the Giants by picking up scrubs (Florence) off the street. Then again, the Giants may go 2-14 at this rate...

Hacketts scheme is a major issue!
bobobonators replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im not using the 10 dyays as an excuse. Its just common sense. An elite defensive coach with a very good defense having 3 extra days to gameplan vs an unexperienced coaching staff and a rookie QB is a recipe for disaster. Im not the fool who was on here saying this was going to be an easy win a week ago; drinking the cool aid. -
Hacketts scheme is a major issue!
bobobonators replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This loss can be summarized and explained rather easily: 1. Rex Ryan had 10 days to prepare his top 10 defense to face a rookie QB. The END. I understand its fun to make fun of Rex, but Marrone and Hackett still have a lot to learn in this league. -
ITT We List Things That Sucked Today
bobobonators replied to Boludo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
haha..pretty much. Kiko has been pretty impressive I must say. hard-nosed player with a nose for the ball. i like. however, next time kiko - don't push the QB into the endzone. -

- The QB - The OL - The DL - The WR - The RB - The CB - The coaching. At least a LB had an INT, so that group will get a pass. That should pretty much cover everything.
