You have 20 Million to spend
bobobonators replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LOL. I could see an incentive laden contract but I don't think he wants that. Then again, at his age, he's not in a position to demand anything. Maybe the Raiders will blow him out of the water. -

You could be right about Chandler. I'd like to see who's going to give MJD more than $4/yr at 29yrs old and especially with the mileage on those legs. -

Revis a Patriot / Bucs cut Revis
bobobonators replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im not dissatisfied with the CB's on the bills, however, i think the following 2 statements are accurate: 1. Prior to last yr McKelvin was bad. Has he cometely turned the corner? 2. Gilmore has so far not performed up to what many expected. -

Can we pay revis what byrd woulda gotten? Id gladly pay revis 9/10m a year and this way he can stick it to the Jets 2x a year for next 3yrs CB is one of the more important positions in NFL. Id rather have Revis 10x over Byrd. -
LaMarr Woodley Released By Pitt- Does Whaley Go After Him?
bobobonators replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In their defense, the steelers did pay the man back in 2011 and never got the return on that particular investment due to injuries..but pay him they did. Steelers got the most out of Woodley's career and rightfully cut him now. -
LaMarr Woodley Released By Pitt- Does Whaley Go After Him?
bobobonators replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hughes last season put up the same numbers Woodley did in 2010 when he was still in his prime. There are countless positions that can be addressed where starters are actually needed as opposed to depth. We need LG, MLB, FS and TE. -

Rashard Mendenhall retires at age 26

The hypocrisy behind online gambling is amazing. Forever online gambling was illegal in NJ and now there are banners everywhere on highways and the radio has gambling commercials non-stop, followed of course by their lovely "gambling problem" disclaimer. In a split second it goes from bad to awesome. Continuing to describe sports gambling as evil and something that would corrupt sports is a waste of breath. Every sports show on TV and the radio and every newspaper addresses "spreads" for games on Sundays. Can someone tell me what exactly is the point of discussing "spreads" if not for sports gambling? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Sports gambling is a reality and making it legal would not corrupt sports any more than they already are. -

Thinking about it as well, I think my last true favorite player was Bruce Smith. Maybe I should've phrased the question better and asked, if you were to drop $110 on a jersey, who's jersey would you buy? I'd have a hard time deciding. -
I was really big on Hairston as well, and I still have hope that he can return and contribute. That being said, we can't go into next season relying on Hairston. I know the Hairston topic has been covered before, but Hairston disappearing from the face of the earth over an injury that nobody seems to have a clue about is a disconcerting. Thankfully Hairston recently said on twitter that he was a full-go for spring workouts. So we'll see what happens.

lmao LOL! Unfortunately I'm no longer 12, but I still root harder for some players more than others. -

Thats the very reason i listed him - because its amusing. ;-) -
Man if we could sign Saffold to play RT or heck, even LG and then draft either LG (Yankey) or RT in the draft, I'd be very very happy. I'm really big on Saffold. Glenn /// Yankey /// Wood /// Urbik /// Saffold That's a stellar OL.

I agree that he looks like he may develop into a player, but favorite player? Lets just say our secondary is going to be awesome if he becomes our favorite player. -

Nice, I actually thought of writing Aaron Williams in for a sec. He's def. going up my rankings as well. After I did the poll and submitted the thread I realized I forgot to write in Gilmore on there. But then again, I suppose that says it all really. -
So I was talking with a buddy the other day over who my current favorite Bills player is and I actually had a hard time answering him quickly. Over the last few years my favorite player has arguably been Stevie, but his antics (and drops) during the same time span have kind of bothered me a bit as well. So then I kind of qualified my Stevie answer with saying how Freddy was right up there as well just b/c of his professionalism and his production when he does play. My buddy ( a Giants fan ) kind of laughed at my Freddy response saying that Freddy was old and irrelevant and rarely ever plays a full season. Anyway, the convo kind of got me thinking about how I'm not crazy about any single player on the current roster. I can really see Kiko being my "favorite" player in a year or two, but time will tell. Being curious as to how others feel, vote on your favorite player and share why; I'm curious to see who wins.

Jairus Byrd [was Jarius Byrd]

lol. Byrd has a funny way of showing it. With the Bills paying A. Williams, Byrd is not coming back b/c we will not be paying him as well. The end. -
Mayock's Post-Combine Rankings
bobobonators replied to thebandit27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont see us taking a WR at #1. We took 2 WR in the first 3 rounds last season and we took another WR in the first 3 rounds in 2012. Granted, TJ Graham has been an abomination, but I just can't see us taking another WR with our first pick. An elite TE on the other hand would be a different story. I'm perfectly fine with SJ, Woods, and Goodwin. Throw in an Ebron or ASJ or Amaro and we doin good. We have to protect EJ - our glass figurine - and will have to take OL once in the first 2 rounds IMO (unless we address it via FA). -

Really surprised Jordan Matthews is not on that list. Boy what a player. Will be best NFL WR from this draft after Watkins. -
And our FO has ruined this franchise.
