  1. And turnovers aren't predictable. We can't just sit back and say, "well the Jets should give us another 3 turnovers so lets just run run run run run all day". You play that way it's going to bite you in the butt. You have to play to win the game on your side of the ball and not wait for plays to be made elsewhere.
  2. That's the thing though - we've seen the same run, run, pass all season. We were debating this weeks ago. This isn't new.
  3. I'm sorry man, but if that's the gameplan you want to run, you're not going to be in this league very long. You'll essentially be playing not to lose every week. And KO is not Tim Tebow.
  4. I understand what you're saying but there's not point in arguing two extremes - nobody is saying to abandon the run. But at the same time, calling the same run, run, pass setup countless times resulting in 3 and outs is unacceptable. We weren't running the ball effectively, so why continue the same pattern over and over again. It only sets us up for a likely 3 and out which is exactly what happened over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. NH is dumb as a stump. Here's a thought NH: Pass, run, run Pass, Pass, run Run, Pass, run Run, Pass, Pass Pass, Run, Pass Run, Run, Run Pass, Pass, Pass You have options NH.
  5. He would've been perfect in Denver IMO, but the Tebow phenomena was unstoppable. Bad place, bad time for Kyle.
  6. I agree. Ultimately Marrone is responsible for NH and his mickey mouse plays. 100% agree. The fact that many people can see that we're actually winning DESPITE our coaches/gameplans is a positive at least. The talent is there.
  7. Fans have been saying NH is bad for weeks now. Many questioned whether or not it was EJ or NH or both. After 4 games with Orton, it's clear that the problem was both NH and EJ and now only NH remains as a problem. His lack of creativity is offensive. Nobody is saying that we shouldn't run the ball. But what about the runs that we're calling - it's essentially the same play over and over again. It's not just this week - though this week was embarrassing - it's been all season. Fans have said it and now even the media says how predictable our playcalling is. All season: no sweeps, almost no screens, no misdirection runs, little play action, etc. All season, not just against the Jets. All season. People keep saying that we won the game so lay off. That's fine, but we had 6 turnovers that game and that's not going to happen every week. Schwartz and the defense get the credit - not NH. Being up one score at half time after all those turnovers is an embarrassment and everyone knows it. Raise your hand if you felt good going in at half time? NH had zero to do with those turnovers so why should anyone lay off of him? People can continue to be blind to it this week b/c we "won" but it's going to cost us sooner rather than later. His job is to call plays that result in points on every drive - that's his job in a nutshell. And he sucks at it more often than not.
  8. KC will dink/dunk us to death and control the clock - that's my greatest fear. We'll see. Mistake free football and stay positive on turnover differential and we have a very good chance to win.
  9. THIS And this And this too
  10. Does anyone know what to make of pitt? They looked horrible for several weeks and for last 1.5 games have looked unstoppable - against good teams.
  11. A W is a W but that doesnt save NH from the fact that he called an embarrassing game. This win had more to do with the defense having 6 turnovers then it did with ball control/offensive success. The playcalling is predictable to a degree that it offends the mind. This clown has to leave at the end of the year no matter what. And to think we debated pages upon pages of posts as to whether or not NH knew how to utilize CJ. This guy doesnt know how to utilize anything with his mickey mouse schemes.
  12. Awesome yolo. Also prior to the game he was 3rd in NFL in completion %
  13. This is all i have to say: Kyle Orton 10/17, 238 yards, 4 TDs, 142.9 QB rating. Its a shame billsfan4life wont show his face for a week now. Shouldnt be that way - we all root for the same team.
  14. Whats the turnover ratio in those 2 games? We were up 1 score going into the half. Vs a better opponent we probably lose today. Run, run, pass. And the runs are always the same.
  15. Im behind it. Todays playcalling was downright embarrassing.
  16. Whats the record for turnovers in one game?
  17. Thas what happens when you PASS THE BALL
  18. If it wasnt for Orton....
  19. And we were debating that CJ was to blame? Cj is best to get out of here
