  1. I feel like vomiting. I feel like im watching a bills game w louisville Soooooooooo... Who had this game at zeros going into the half?
  2. Didnt make a difference w EJ at qb either. Almost Every run play car runs looks different. That FSU TD was so lucky it hurts. Theyll come back now prob LMFAO!!!!! Did someone just watch what happened in fsu game?
  3. Maybe NH should watch CAR to learn how to call run plays that dont always go up the middle
  4. We'll see. Benjamin has had a veteran QB throwing him the ball all season. Sammy had EJ for 4 games and sammys numbers are just as good if not better. The year comment is what got me.
  5. Michael Irvin just called Benjamin his rookie of the YEAR. Lolol. What a clown. I wonder how many lines of coke he did prior to that statement.
  6. I hate these teams - theyve both done me dirty this yr. theyll probably tie.
  7. This thread is getting out of control. Compare YPA and compare completion %. One has top 10 numbers and the other is bottom of the barrel in NFL. Convo should end there really. And then go and look at red zone #'s. Preferrably while drinking a glass of chianti
  8. While i feel its way too premature to have this firing NH discussion, i like the concept of continuously evaluating every aspect of your team. Waiting until the end of the season to do so may be too late.
  9. This. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. The Baltimore Ravens? Look how that worked out for them..
  10. To my untrained eye, Chan made chicken salad out of chicken s***. Our WR depth under Gailey consisted of: Ruvell Martin, Aiken, Hagan, Donald Jones, David Nelson, N. Roosevelt, Easely, TJ Graham, Brad Smith and an unknown Stevie Johnson (in 2010). Gailey made Stevie into a 1,000yd WR. Gailey developed Chandler. He turned Ryan Fitzpatrick from a nobody into a 3,500 - 3800 yd passer. He eventually found the formula and made CJ Spiller into one of the most dynamic RB's in the NFL. Also, there are still 5 OL from the Gailey era that are on this roster - so if Marrone can't figure it out soon enough with the OL situation, maybe he can put his ego aside and just mimic his predecessor. With our current offense Gailey would make lightning bolts come out of his ars. Like others mentioned however, Gailey was never able to bring in a D-coordinator worth a damn and those 2010 - 2012 Bills teams had epically bad defenses that the offense was simply never able to overcome. That's what did him in. IMO Gailey was the best offensive mind we've had in Buffalo in a long, long time.
  11. We may have to. At least we have EJ/Orton locked up through next season (ej through 2016).
  12. Agreed. We would be better served to use that 2nd round pick on an OL or TE or LB or like they say, you can never have enough CB.
  13. Hughes has been one of the greatest acquisitions in recent memory. Sheppard has since left the Colts and is in Miami now continuing to suck. We need to resign both.
  14. HI!!!!!!!!!!! I want Chris Fischetti FIRED, NOW!
  15. It's not a fight for one or the other b/c so far this season, there's no competition. If Orton starts playing the way EJ did and we finish 6-10 then we can begin to have this discussion. I'm a Bills fan, not an Orton or EJ fan. I don't care either way. But to rip on a guy that is clearly better than the player he replaced is a waste of time. It's an improvement - end of story.
  16. QBR / yards / TD's/ completion %/ ypa - Orton blows EJ away in every single category. And wins too.. This conversation should've died away along time ago.
  17. I really hope so man. I too believe that EJ can benefit from this. However, I would have no problems with him benefiting from another year on the bench next season too. ;-) Because EJ's 19.8 QBR was tearing it up... Give it up man.
  18. 2 key stats that are really game-changers in my opinion: Completion % and yards per attempt. There is a 1.6 ypa difference between Orton and EJ. Just how large is that gap? The difference between the #1 QB in the NFL in ypa (Peyton Manning at 8.47) and #30 in the NFL (Tannehill at 6.56) is 1.91. That's the difference from the absolute best to someone ranked #30 - almost dead last. So 1.6 is light years apart. Orton ranks #6 in the NFL in ypa. There is 9.4 difference in completion % between Orton and EJ. Just how large is that gap? The difference between the #1 NFL QB in completion % (drew brees - 69.5%) and the #30 in the NFL (EJ and Locker at 58.0) is 11.5. A 9.4 difference is again, light years apart. Orton ranks #7 in completion % in the NFL. Orton does take more sacks but produces many more big plays and does so more consistently.
  19. LOL I get the sarcasm. McCoy and Reich pumped life back into the SD offense after it started sputtering a bit (for their standards). One area I admire an offense like SD is how they're able to utilize Danny Woodhead (when he was healthy) in their offense. That little runt is an elite player when utilized in the passing game.
  20. I look at it this way: focus on what you do well and try and get really really good at it. Last year we were good at running the ball. Despite our greatness at rushing, we were limited by a rookie QB - it happens. This year it looks like we can't run effectively (especially now with injuries) but since Orton has been at QB our passing game has greatly improved and should continue to improve with chemistry and young WR's continuing to evolve. Though we shouldn't become a pass-happy team, I definitely think the focus should start to tilt towards the pass game a bit and away from the running game, which ironically may end up helping the run game.
