  1. I'm not a Marrone nutjob supporter by any stretch, but having your "franchise" QB sport an 18QBR after 4 weeks and look as bad as he did in order to make a switch to Orton I'd say is adversity for any franchise. For example: look how quickly things have fallen apart for the Redskins.
  2. I don't know what the heck happened with Mike Williams but it's truly disappointing. With such a young WR corps, Williams could've been a valuable addition to the team and I was pretty excited prior to the season. Not to mention he could've been another target in the red zone for an offense that obviously struggles in the red zone. Looking at Williams' college/professional career it's obvious that he has some character flaws but to me (at least) it also seems evident that the history between Williams and Marrone didn't help the situation in Buffalo. Pathetic, all around.
  3. I can't stand how the Bills are never on CBS in the NYC market unless we play a local team. I feel like i've watched countless Denver games against the likes of freaking Tennessee and Baltimore on CBS or especially against the Pats, but today when the Broncos actually play a NY team, the game isn't on CBS. Unreal. I don't think NYC has a 4pm game on CBS today at all. Instead we get championship snocross after the Jets game. F M L. Guess i'm driving to brother's house again to watch it on sunday ticket.
  4. Good luck today gentlemen! Put Peyton on his ars. GO BILLS!
  5. haha. nice. Unfortunately for us, a coin has evenly distributed weight rendering such odds relevant. Football games that lean towards one end in terms of talent (Denver, GB, & NE) make such comparisons pointless. The chances of us going 4-0 based on the teams we're facing is somewhere between 0% and 1%.
  6. The Broncos' offense is nowhere as good as it was last year - they are averaging about 6pts/game less this year which is nuts if you think about it. Last year the Broncos offense was leaps and bounds better than the rest of the NFL - this year they're only 5th in pts/game and total offense. I fully expect our defense to show up and play and keep this Denver offense at around 25/28pts in their house. How our offense plays against their defense is the only concern. We're going to have to score close to 30pts to have a realistic shot at beating Denver in Denver.
  7. going back to scouting report: Senior linebacker who is the lone starting linebacker returning in 2011 as well as the team's returning leading tackler. Covers the field well and brings a wealth of knowledge to the linebacker corps having played in 40 career games. Named to the preseason watch lists for the Bednarik Award and Nagurski Award which are awarded to the top defensive player in the country. A Preseason All-ACC pick by several publications who will also be a candidate for the Butkus Award given to the nation's top linebacker. Earned one of six community service awards given out at the end of spring practice. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/history/1619567
  8. The list doesn't make much sense to me. Orton has better #'s than Cam Newton and MUCH better #s than Andy Dalton and has played 4 fewer games which is nuts. Because Orton has a winning record and has better #'s than both those two clowns, I'd put him at around 17 or 18 on that list. I wouldn't have put Fitzpatrick and McCoy above Hoyer either, but that's just me. Man this list is all over the place after 15/16.
  9. I'm glad the Bills NEVER enter my dreams.
  10. the first time he caught the ball i literally thought it was Watkins running they looked very similar.
  11. I think the opposite - I feel this defense matches up much better vs. Manning than Rodgers. At the end of the day, scoring points will be necessary for both games so this offense better start getting its mojo somehow.
  12. That was a great call by NH indeed. It was a wrinkle in the usual monotony.
  13. My problem was that it was ruled a fumble on the field and to say that his arm was clearly going forward on the replay is complete BS. It was a matter of whether or not he actually tucked the ball back in (which it appeared he did to me), so for the ref to say that he saw enough evidence to overturn that call is freaking BS.
  14. I agree. I've met Russell Wilson - he's not an inch taller than 5'10 (regardless of what the internet says). I'm sure franchises had their doubts.
  15. I cant wait for hogan to !@#$ing demolish this tool.
  16. Yup, that's how it's gone for the Bills for the past 20yrs. When one side is good, the other is poor and vice/versa. And when we're bad all-around we're never bad enough to get a #1 or #2 pick. Oh well.
  17. And aren't we #1 in sacks?
  18. I'd say holding on to the god damned ball in our red zone is more of a problem than Orton's accuracy. When Dixon fumbled it I almost threw the remote at the TV - thankfully it was overturned. *Not overturned - down by contact I meant.
  19. I still say the Bills can beat Denver. I like our chances vs. Denver much more than I do vs. Green Bay. If this defense keeps playing like it has, we can seriously disrupt Peyton Manning and though he's still awesome, he's not the same QB he was 10yrs ago. The offense would have to play much better though.
  20. Yeah the Jets suck but still a divisional game. There are no gimmies in this league and regardless, it was an absolute ass kicking even more impressive by the fact that it's hard destroy a team 2x in the same season.
  21. This 7pm start time is going to be awesome. Will be in bed at a reasonable hour on east coast
  22. Have you never watched football before? If he throws any of those balls where you think the "money" is theyll be INT's
  23. Thanks man. The only concerning thing IMO is that it was so late at night. Other than that, we're only hearing one side of the story - the guy who got hit and who knows wtf his deal is.
