  1. Eh. Veteran mentor's are vastly overrated IMO. At the end of the day, EJ needs to step up to the plate and execute. EJ, like any high draft pick, has had plenty of support within the organization to learn and grow.
  2. Werent we building around EJ by drafting woods last yr and trading up for Watkins this yr? And then drafting multiple OL? Apparently EJ never got the memo.
  3. I dunno - Rex has always been more boisterous than Schwartz, IMO. Maybe it's b/c he coached in NY, I dunno. But what I heard on the radio was that he wasn't interested in it himself, so in that manner maybe he's different than Schwartz who was obviously open to it.
  4. I heard from local sports radio that people close to Rex say he's not coming back to the NFL as an assistant/D-coordinator and if he's not given another HC gig, he apparently has a lucrative TV offer lined up. I believe every word of it. At this point in his career, can anyone really picture Rex as a D-coordinator? He would be a larger character than any HC and would overshadow any HC pretty much just b/c of his persona - not a good dynamic, IMO.
  5. Could be the case but if he had THAT much pride why would he ever bench the young QB he had a strong hand in drafting? Maybe the simpler answer is true: ej sucks that much.
  6. After 15yrs im no longer annoyed. 15yrs is not an annoyance - its a reality of life. Accept it bro.
  7. Isnt it amazing how easy it is for some people to land jobs? Daddy has job - son has job. That easy
  8. Lmao. Bro im lost too! I have no idea who i want to win/lose. Ill just booze and im sure itll all be clearer
  9. Yeah, we'll disagree on that. Who do you like in the draft?
  10. Damn bro - he coaches the Buffalo Bells. It's season 2, Week 16 - get up to speed!
  11. We probably won't get him b/c if we do I mean that would just seal EJ's fate here in Blo and I don't think management is ready to do that. I see us going into next season w/Orton and EJ and letting the better player during training camp/preseason start. But if we're talking about upgrading a position, Cutler would be an upgrade and I don't think it's that close - at least right now.
  12. Is Cutler an upgrade over Orton or EJ - Yes. Only question would be how much would he cost. But that's just my opinion. To a certain extent man but you know that's not the entire story. And again, he's not coming here to replace a pro bowl QB. WE're talking about EJ and Orton man.
  13. Simplistic response and you know that.
  14. Lets not be cute. Cutler has been in the league now what 10years or thereabouts? Everyone here has watched him play. I'd love to have the problem of a QB who will throw for 4,000yds this season with 30+ TD's...at the right price of course (b/c of the negatives - which do exist). But lets not pretend he's replacing Jim Kelly here right now.
  15. Anytime. I'm here to help
  16. He's Merrone's backup QB silly.
  17. My feelings too. He's 31 - we know what he is and that's still better than either Orton or EJ. An upgrade is an upgrade is an upgrade.
  18. I can't imagine Schwartz not getting another shot at HC though. Hopefully it'll be in 2-3 years though.
  19. no lie, I may cry if Schwartz leaves. Schwartz (like many Coordinators) are really good at what they do but that may not necessarily translate to being a HC and hopefully franchises don't forget that.
  20. You gotta be kidding me bro. God. Lie to me at least.
  21. I kinda liked the all blue unis
