  1. Overall I would say he did. Back to back AFC Championship games and beating the Patriots in the playoffs in New England is a success no matter how you slice it. The dumpster fire that is (or was) upper management in NY is what ultimately ended that relationship. We all consider Mike Tomlin a good coach. He's well respected around the league. Mike Tomlin hasn't mad the playoffs 2 out of 5 years since 2010 and up until this year he hadn't advanced past the wild card round since 2010 - with a hall of fame QB We all consider Tom Coughlin a great coach - he went 4 years in a row without making the playoffs - with a hall of fame QB I'm not saying Rex Ryan is on the same level as those coaches. It's just to put things in perspective: Great coaches go stretches without even making the playoffs with hall of fame QB's leading their team. Rex Ryan going 8-8 with TT isn't the end of the world. Lets see what next year brings.
  2. And with BB having all this time to prepare - not looking good for KC.
  3. LMAO. Losing Maclin is going to really really hurt.
  4. Don't necessarily disagree with the excuses part. To counter your Rex effect point: prior to being bills HC, he was only HC for one team (not plural - one team). Did he or did he not have success with that team? First year with Bills he goes 8-8 - a rather disappointing season due in large part to the expectations by the majority of fans and the coach himself. Lets see how next season goes before we burn down the city.
  5. I want the option: "indifferent" for the first option. I still want to see how it will play out with Thurman and other coaches before I form an opinion.
  6. Pats Arizona Panthers Broncos
  7. Reading these message boards leads one to believe the Bills were 12-4 last season and Rex turned them into a 4-12 team this year. I get why some people don't like Rex; he's an easy target.
  8. Bills fans have so much hate, it's pathetic. When the media blasts us, people like you come here crying. When the media praises us, you come here crying.
  9. I'm fine with that. But I really want to keep adding to this offense.
  10. Uuuuuuhm, the Grudens coached together. The shananans coached together. Just off the top of my head. Its the NFL, theres nepotism everywhere.
  11. He should be given 10 lashings per fumble
  12. Wilkerson would be a dream. sign him, draft a WR or OL at 19 for the offensive side.
  13. I know! I always felt Schiano should've gotten another shot in the NFL as a D Coordinator. He may not have been ready for the HC level at the NFL but I could've seen him having success strictly as a coordinator.
  14. haha. I think we have a good shot at that this year. It's a shame Maclin went down. I really could've seen them beating the Pats next week. It will be so much tougher now but who knows that team has lost so many key players all season and it doesn't stop them. Best coaching job of Reid's impressive career.
  15. I think so too. Ash brings instant credibility to the coaching side of things. Like always, however, it will come down to how well Rutgers can recruit from within.
  16. Having gone to Rutgers, Sanu on the Bills would be a dream.
  17. browns hold that distinction IMO. At least we had our moments.
  18. Waste of a challenge Is zimmer on drugs? Why is he getting so mad about that call!? Thats a cool looking stadium
  19. Lol. My statement had nothing to do with race. You brought up race.
  20. Seems like all AFC teams have a weakness. Pats have a lot of injuries. Broncos have questions at QB. Chiefs are hot but now lost Maclin. Pitt prob lost ben. NFC might take it this yr for sure
  21. To be fair, the steelers and bengals play in the same division. Theres way too much history there. But good game so far here
  22. and that makes the Bills a "classless, undisciplined group of thugs that are an embarrassment to the league and the city they represent." Really?
