I agree. For the most part, it's the same offensive line and offense vs. the same defensive line and defense from last year.

Can you say overreaction after week 1? Many people are picking buffalo for the following reasons: 1. It's a divisional game where we own our divisional opponent the last few years. 2. Both of the teams have very similar rosters and coaching staff as last year, when the Bill swept the set. 3. It's a home game. Despite the above, it's probably going to be a close game and we can very well lose, but people saying we are going to get destroyed just b/c of the way we played week 1, are acting like they've never watched football before.

Prior to the season, I had us losing vs. Baltimore and winning at home vs. the Jets, and I felt pretty confident about it. After seeing our O-line struggle so much last week, I'm now concerned a bit with this matchup w/o Glenn. Add to that all the questions with Watkins too. Divisional games can be tough to call b/c the players/coaches know e/o so well. Look how bad the Hawks struggle vs. the Rams last few years. Despite all of our question marks, there is no denying we have owned the Jets the last few years, winning the last 5 I believe. There is also no denying that for whatever reason, Fitz struggles vs. Rex. Short week helps the offense move on from the clunker. The offense is better than that and the O-line, Tyrod, and Roman will all be motivated to show that last week was just an anomaly. If Sammy plays: Jets 16 Bills 24

I agree, its a double edged sword. But at the same time im not sitting here saying the sky is falling now. It is what it is - the offense needs more reps. Needs more work. It will get better

The amount of reps the offense got in the preseason is a serious issue, Imo. The redskins game really surprised me. Tyrod had a total of 5 passing attempts and was pulled. Kirk Cousins got 23 attempts and played into the third quarter. Historically the 3rd game is when you see the most playing time. Shady didnt play and tyrod got 5 reps and sammy was still on bench. This offense played about a total of 2 quarters this entire preseason. It showed. Thats on the coaching staff.

The Jets' vaunted defense gave up well over 400yds today, at home.

Ravens have a super bowl winning coach, super bowl mvp QB, and have historically been really good at home (compound that by making it their season opener). We lost by 6 points. No, you're not overreacting at all. You're being completely rational. Yes, we better play much better on offense. And we will.
