  1. Lorax doesnt suffer from hamstring issues. Lorax is therefore not an alcoholic. What a great year from him.
  2. You're not. But to your point, the RG3 that made the playoffs was a superstar. The RG3 today took literally 1 hit in his first game of the season and missed the season. RG3 is mentally and physically done.
  3. I agree about Brown stepping up. As for shaq being invisible thats what i meant. Shaq is playing like its week 1 with no preseason or training camp. Either way depth is always important. And players missing eventually burns others. Lorax is starting to come back down to earth.
  4. Im just saying theres more than one way to skin a cat.
  5. Awesome post man. Im enjoying it.
  6. How can you say their losses meant next to nothing? They were drafted to be starters. We were counting on them to start. Rookies are going to be rookies but losing a starter means that someone else has to step up. Shaq is pretty much in week 1 mode instead of week 12 mode.
  7. I went ahead and gave him what he wanted. I think he was the Pats fan who preferred seeing his pats ranked #3 in pts allowed vs being ranked #13 in yds allowed.
  8. Yesterday, When i ranked the defenses the Bills have faced this season a poster on this board made me change it from "overall defense" to pts allowed bc "pts allowed is a truer metric". So theres that..
  9. Thats a good point and its fair. Turnovers on defense are a hard metric to predict or replicate from year to year. What cant be argued is the huge benefit this offense provides to the defense on a weekly basis by rarely turning the ball over. We complain about the 3 and outs and how it may affect the defense. I think it evens out when you take into account how we arent turning the ball over on our 30yd line and asking the D to make a stop. That part of the equation is easiy overlooked on this board.
  10. With our current defensive play, any turnover on our end of the field would pretty much be an automatic TD for the opponent. Why is our turnover differential so good? It has more to do with the offense's lack of turnovers than it does the defense's efforts.
  11. Tell it to the Falcons or Saints who cant even make the playoffs in a crap division. What has it been 3yrs since either made the playoffs? Probably at 9-7 too, as usual. So impressive.
  12. Considering the losses of Ragland, Shaq, Dareus, and AW the defense has been pretty good majority of time. I understand that Shaq and Ragland are rookies and much shouldnt be expected anyway, but one area where it does hurt is depth. They can still improve substantially as a unit. Especially in the red zone.
  13. I think you are not far off. Major factor but cant be the complete reason from #1 to dead last. Part of it can be impossible plays to defend (think of the TDs by Graham in the Hawks game). Part of it can be combined piss poor play from DB. Part of it can be players that overperformed early have come back down a bit (lorax, brown).
  14. Its not black and white. Its not a yes/no. It rarely ever is. The defense has been above average overall. Still room for improvement. Same with the offense and the rest of the team. I agree. "The Bills' red zone defense, which ranked first in the NFL over the first seven weeks of the season, has plummeted to 32nd in the NFL over the past five weeks. Buffalo has allowed opponents to score on 11 of their past 12 trips inside the 20-yard line, including both of the Jaguars' trips on Sunday. "Right now, we can't stop anybody," coach Rex Ryan said of his red zone defense after the game, noting that not every player was playing the correct defensive playcall on one of Jacksonville's touchdowns."
  15. Staying away from the TT convo. I feel that Lynn was put in a position to fail and the offense has succeeded as a WHOLE. One must also look at all of the injuries that have decimated the offense and how they could have potentially crippled its effectiveness yet Lynn has been creative enough to keep the ship afloat. I was worried about the gameday playcalling initially bc Lynn had never done that before and how he would respond to in-game adjustments. Again overall I feel hes done a really solid job.
  16. http://www.theadvocate.com/new_orleans/sports/saints/article_3654b8b4-b5ec-11e6-923a-676a7996fb0e.html Nice read. Overall what are everyone's thoughts on Lynn going forward. I feel that Lynn has done a pretty kickass job so far.
  17. haha! i literally laughed at the Felicia comment. Listen man we're both Bills fans at the end of the day. I enjoy a little debate as much as anyone but this is reaching an all-time high in terms of nonsense on this board with the anti-TT crowd. And i think I've figured out why. Why are the crusaders so fired up about TT? Because of the following: 2016 Bills score the most points for the franchise since the 1992 Bills through 11 games. 2015/2016 Bills are top 10 in points scored over the past 27 games in the NFL. 27 GAMES. 2016 Bills are 8th in the NFL in points scored. All this has been achieved with either Sammy or Shady, or both, being out of the lineup completely in 11 of the 27 games. That's over 40% of the games. And yet we're still in the top 10 in scoring, and this is where the crusaders lose their mind. Bc they can't reconcile that FACT. How can TT suck so much like we say he does, yet here we are setting records? How can the #1 WR and/or #1 RB be gone for 40% of those 27 games and yet we're still top 10?! That's where the crusaders lose their sh*t - because they CAN'T reconcile their perceived realities with the ACTUAL reality. So what do the crusaders resort to? Eh, forget about points, 3rd down conversions and yards is what we care about. That's what we'll spend thousands of posts arguing about. They stay up at night thinking of the 1001010 ways TT "missed" an open WR on their all-22 video without having the slightest clue of what the actual progression of that play was. The crusaders are pissed. The crusaders can't sleep at night b/c for Christ's Sake we have THE 8TH SCORING OFFENSE AND THEY CAN'T CELEBRATE. They picked a side and they now have to stick with it to save face. I'd be crusading too if I couldn't even enjoy my team's success on the offensive side. Success that hasn't been seen around these parts in a quarter of a century. It's really pathetic actually. Sad and pathetic. But I have love for all of you. When you hop back on that bandwagon, we won't forget the crusaders that jumped off.
  18. I am. Hes a rookie. He needs more starts. Im just busting balls. He shows promise.
  19. Ryan. In another thread on here you say Cam Newton is top 5 QB in the NFL. Look at his numbers vs Tyrod this season. Keep crusading. At least be consistent with your BS.
  20. 8/11 games vs top 15 defenses. 8th in NFL in scoring. No WR corps all season basically. Irony is that if we didnt have a top scoring offense points would be the main argument you and other users would spew on here 24/7: "Yards are nice but you have to score". "You have to score in the red zone" "You have to stop throwing critical INTs". "At the end of the day the QB has to shoulder the blame for not scoring" All BS you would spew on here 24/7 if the above was actually occurring. Instead youre relegating to complaining about style points and yards. Lmfao. Go run along child.
  21. Wentz looks awesome. At home. Vs arguably the worst defense in the NFL. Eagles lighting up the scoreboard.
  22. Its so exhausting seeing the Bills put up points on the board at record rates. So. !@#$ing. Exhausting.
  23. Bc Vegas doesnt concern itself with the jaded opinions of "fans"
  24. RT needs to be upgraded. But I agree the oline has been good overall.
