  11. HERE WE GOOOO!!!! Some great wintery matchups so far with snow in two games. December football, and we're still alive!!! Lets go RAVENS!!! (???) I don't even know who to root for anymore.
  12. I started Carr today in my daily fantasy league and feel extremely guilty about it. Also have Shady though to counterbalance my guilt.
  13. Wow 12 pages. I posted on here much earlier and some may have misunderstood what I said or maybe it was my fault for not elaborating. In a nutshell: I personally know 2 people that missed the birth of their kids (1 each) due to their respective jobs. It's not unheard of and I don't think it would be unheard of for Clay to miss it. It would suck, for sure, but as the saying goes: For those to whom much is given, much is required. However, if the NFL is OK with it, the Bills are OK with it, then we should all be OK with it. Congrats to Clay.
  14. Jmo but there are plenty of people in certain government positions, and especially in military, who make about 1/100th of what Clay makes and miss the birth of a child because their position doesnt alway afford the luxury of being absent that day. Its the career path they chose and it sucks, as it should suck for Clay too.
  15. Agreed. But if i was chucking it up to goodwin id have zero faith too unless Goodwin had 3yds on the defender. I feel Hunter can be a possible connection. Coming off the street it takes reps to build trust and rapport. Maybe they can begin to develop thay trust going forward. His 1st season last year was almost identical to RG3's campaign when RG3 won rookie of the year. Lets say worst case that's his ceiling when Sammy and other WR are healthy. Ill take that for 2-3yrs all day everyday.
  16. You cant argue in extremes. You cant say yeh but look at Steve Young and Aaron Rodgers. TT isnt Rodgers. Never will be.
  17. I agree. Question is how to properly understand the impact of Sammy and/or shady when at least one of those players has been inactive in over 40% of TT's starts.
  18. I think him playing too conservatively is an honest criticism. Where i disagree is in the motives behind his conservative play. I feel its not bc of his extension. I feel TT is a smart guy and a selfless guy. He knows where the strength of this offense lies. I also feel that he absolutely has very little trust and rapport with his WR's which is causing him to doubt making some throws instead of just reacting.
  19. I 100% agree that already being in the league is an advantage over a rookie even if youre not a starter. That being said there is absolutely no replicating real-game action on Sunday. Like anything else in life its not black and white. Tannehill's 40+ more GS than TT have more value than just riding the pine for example.
  20. Fitz keeps being brought up in conversation on this board as an example of "wasting our time" with TT. The comparison is absolutely laughable. In his best seasons here, 2010-2012, he had 72 total TD's and 67 total turnovers and won 16/45 games. That's a 1.07 Total TD/Total Turnover ratio and a .356 winning %. Tyrod has a 3.33 Total TD/Total Turnover ratio and a .560 winning %. Granted, this Bills team is more talented top to bottom so it makes sense that TT wins more games, but the statistical production alone from the QB position between Tyrod and Fitz isn't close either. If people can't see that then there's no hope.
  21. Good read. 100% agree about the catching radius of our WR not invoking trust in TT to just sling it. Specifically remember the INT that TT threw to Goodwin where Goodwin didnt fight for the ball at all. TT looked pissed in the sideline and they showed him looking at the screen and you can see TTs look on his face thinking "fight for that ball. Make a play". But its not goodwins fault. Bc he doesnt have that talent level. Man there was a play where winston threw to Evans in the exact same spot as TT to goodwin and evans went throuh the DB and just snatched that ball out of the air for a TD. Winston couldve had a pick 6 on that play instead it resulted in a TD. We need Watkins.
