  1. The press conference was pretty brutal. I dont care though as long as he can coach the offense. Honestly you can tell that he was not comfortable talking about the EJ/TT thing. He wanted to say: "these clowns above me are telling me who to start, talk to them about it"
  2. Down the toilet, thats where we go. People are advocating for the Glennon's of the world.
  3. Clearly EJ is a Whaley decision. 1000000000% clear
  4. Kaep shouldnt count as he has a good amount of fewer games. I forgot about Brady! Thanks for correction.
  5. Pretty much. If im TT im almost hoping they dont pick up the option. He will be underpaid in Buffalo. Not to mention under appreciated.
  6. Id rather give Schiano another shot over Franklin.
  7. Also news flash, EJ is 26 years old. TT is 27 years old.
  8. Two games, one of which came against the Jags. It's funny b/c people talk about garbage time stats here with this offense, but last year's game against the Jags was one heaping pile of garbage time trash as the Jags played prevent defense from the 2nd quarter on since they were up by about 3 scores (b/c of EJ and EJ alone). EJ is good for about a turnover a game, at least. His total TD/total turnover ratio is as bad as it gets.
  9. Mike G is averaging about 6ypc. Our slob of a rookie RB last season put up how many TD's? Shady makes this offense click, but he's also expendable.
  10. I would lean towards agreeing with this. However, I could also see a scenario where Whaley has his own vision of what this team should be, and he'll make his hiring based on the best fit to his views. Only natural (in my opinion).
  11. I'd love to see this defense make stops on a short field b/c of turnovers 2x a game.
  12. We rank #3 in the NFL in touchdowns per game right now. Not much room for improvement unless people here think that bringing a rookie QB is going to take this offense to NFL record-setting levels. So imagine how awesome this team is going to look when we don't score more TD's next season but have 15 more INT's from the QB position.
  13. I would love Lynn as the HC and Schwartz as the DC, but that can't happen since he's already the DC with the Eagles, he would have to become HC unless his contract expires after this season? I don't recall how long Schwartz's contract was for.
  14. In other words, if Lynn says "hey Whaley I want TT back next season, pick up the option" Does Whaley think, well I don't like TT, let me look at the next candidate in line to see what they want to do...That has to play a factor here. I honestly don't know what Whaley objectively thinks of TT.
  15. This I can live with, b/c I agree that regardless of what TT has done here, if the new coach doesn't want TT then so be it. Let the new coach decide. However, playing devil's advocate: if Whaley doesn't want TT, do you think he'll hire a HC that agrees with his views of TT (assuming Whaley isn't sold on TT)? Or will Whaley hire the best HC candidate regardless of the candidate's views on TT. I would assume Whaley would try to hire someone who shares his views/direction for the team.
  16. Glennon is the exact same age as TT: 27. People think Tyrod is like 32 yrs old apparently. Only a handful of teams in the NFL have scored more TD's than the Bills since 2015. Scoring can't be ignored. Tyrod has 23 TD's this season between passing/rushing, putting him in the top HALF in the NFL in scoring for QB's (all while having the least turnovers for any NFL QB).
  17. If we do not pick up the option, he's automatically cut, meaning he's automatically an UFA, meaning he can sign with anyone, meaning we can offer him a new contract, meaning he'll probably tell us to go pound sand. I see no way TT comes back to Buffalo if we don't pick up his option. I wouldn't. Another team will sign him.
  18. Agreed. I would be perfectly fine with Lynn as the HC. Could you imagine if Lynn was an OC with any other NFL team, and that NFL team was 7th in the NFL in scoring and top 10 in several offensive categories? This forum would be all over him. We need to do with Lynn what we didn't do with Schwartz: promote him.
  19. If the Bills don't pick up the option on Taylor (an option that pays him an average, to slightly below average $$$ value for an NFL starting QB), and decide to go with either EJ or a rookie QB next season, this franchise is completely hopeless.
  20. His article loses any credibility when it fails to account for the entire purpose of bringing Rex to Buffalo: to continue to build on the really good defense we had in 2014. The article shifts blame from Rex to the QB, failing to take into consideration that the QB is part of an offense that ranks 7th in points scored and top 5 - top 10 in many offensive categories, while the defense is literally a steaming pile of $h*t.
  21. HC - LYNN OC - KROMER DC - GREG SCHIANO
  22. Really? Man this off season is going to be brutal. I may have to go into hibernation mode sooner.
