  1. I feel that KW still has a solid 2 years left of good play left, and the change to 4-3 is actually going to make KW/MD better.
  2. To me McDermott, after reading up on him the last few days, checks almost all the boxes that I would want from a HC: 1. Has he been successful (recently) at his craft or specialty? Yes. 2. Has he been around the NFL long enough but is still considered young/up and coming? Yes. 3. Is he not a retread? Yes 3. Does he come from a good coaching lineage? Yes 4. Is he a leader? From everything I've read, Yes
  3. I really kinda hate Elway. Pompous ass. Have disliked the Broncos for years, even more so now.
  4. I think he meant to say you're a hypocrite or inconsistent. 🙂
  5. I would be in favor of Olson. I mentioned it elsewhere too. Hes worked with Brees in college. Made something of Kitna and made something of Freeman. Also look what he did with Bortles last year. My biggest concern with him is he better suited as a QB coach than an OC?
  6. Soooooo. Has McCoy actually signed yet? This is the longest negotiation for an OC in recent memory. Their HC took less time to sign.
  7. Not really directed to you specifically but ive heard about the "development" of Teddy elsewhere. For a pure pocket passer, Teddy hasnt done anything in the passing game. 3200yds and 14td's with zero dual threat ability? I dont see development there from year 1.
  8. Actually, the play calling in KC is shared.
  9. But thats the thing, they wouldnt be moving up. Theyre already OC's
  10. So from a pure logistical and practical basis, kromer may be a viable option since another coach we want may be blocked. Just looking at the list of candidates, its pretty short. Musgrave and then nobody else really without having to ask for permission.
  11. Well thatll be easy to remember going forward. This will be interesting then.
  12. Would it really? QB coach to OC is a lateral move? I once knew the details of this but have since forgotten lol. Gotcha. Thanks.
  13. I would be OK with Dorsey..or Kromer..
  14. Isn't Brad Childress currently an OC? Wouldn't the Chiefs have to allow it to happen in order to make a lateral move?
  15. Well, looking at McDermott's past: he's worked with Pat Shurmer (min), Brad Childress (kc), Marty Mornhinweg (Bal), James Urban (cincy), Tom Melvin (KC), David Culley (KC), Rob Chudzinski (Indy), Mike Shula (Car), Ken Dorsey (Car) The ones in Bold would probably be available as OC's.
  16. My point being, that he has experience actually calling plays and game planning during the week for an opponent. So the "jump" from Offensive line coach to coordinator wouldn't be a big deal at all. Kromer is more than qualified to be a coordinator. He's technically more qualified to be a coordinator than Lynn ever was, and look at how well Lynn did running Roman's offense despite just being a puppet himself.
  17. I'd go with Kromer. The guy has earned a shot as the OC here. The O-line has performed pretty well overall and have absolutely dominated opponents in the run game with their physicality. Kromer was the OC of the Bears in 2013 and they finished 4th in the NFL in points scored and 6th in the NFL in offense DVOA with Jay Cutler and Josh McCown. The Bears took a dip in 2014 and finished 14th in Offensive DVOA and 23rd in NFL pts/game. Since he's been with us, the offensive line has been one of the best performing units on the Bills. Over his career, he's been an offensive coordinator, offensive line coach, interim head coach, running backs coach. I don't see many other candidates that are clearly better qualified. Only problem may be if they don't want him just b/c he's a leftover from the Rex regime.
  18. Hahah. I had the same brain fart with Kelly.
  19. I would go with musgrave or kromer from that list of undesirables.
  20. This my friend, is exactly what politicians want. Misinformation today combined with instant access to said misinformation, and you easily get millions of people believing anything.
  21. Interesting name.
  22. Frazier will most likely call plays but the defense will not be "run" his way. Exactly.
