  1. If the Pats win the SB tomortow Would people be opposed to renaming the Lombardi Trophy to the BelichickTrophy down the line? Not anytime soon but once Belichick retires and some time passes. When its all said and done he'll be the most successful HC ever. Added significance to his accomplishments is the fact that the large majority of this took place in the modern era where salary caps can signigicantly hamper teams.
  2. I know right. The guy put up 2,000 all purpose yards and 20TD. And hes younger than most of the guys listed in this thread.
  3. Not crazy. But If we pick up the option on TT and trade him for a 2 how would TT's cap hit affect us? In the end if you think someone would give you a 2nd round pick for TT then maybe reasses why it is your trading a 27yr old QB entering his prime to begin with? A team wont trade you anything for Taylor now bc they know hes a FA if we dont pick up the option. We have zero leverage.
  4. According to NFL Network's Mike Mayock, some league evaluators believe UNC QB Mitch Trubisky will measure in closer to 6-foot-1 than 6-foot-3, the height at which he was listed at North Carolina.
  5. Looks like an above average/good home but nothing spectacular. 1.1m is kinda high imo
  6. I would be in favor of scrapping the game altogether and simply keeping the distinction/award of being named an All-Pro via a voting system that includes coaches, players, and fans. Maybe add in a bonus system that if youre named all pro you earn a $$$ bonus that doesnt count against the cap and then a % of that goes to charity. I dunno. That way players get the distinction and an actual monetary award and a trophy (kinda like gold glove or bat in baseball). And leave it at that. Players could then actually use that during contract negotiations bc winning the award for your position actually means something. Give 2-3 awards per position.
  7. Tell us how you really feel. Geesh
  8. Being put in a positiong to fail, A Lynn was given lemons and made some lemonade. He will be missed. Best of luck to him.
  9. You just don't get it, the reason why the Bills were only 7th in scoring in the NFL heading into Week 17 is b/c of Tyrod. Tyrod messed everything up for this offense. We all know how a similar Bills roster was perennially top 5 in the NFL in scoring in 2013 and 2014. Tyrod came here and messed it all up. We were a powerhouse. Before anyone comes back and says "but but but Shady is the offense": Bills' record in games Shady doesn't play since 2015: 3-2 Bills' record in games TT doesn't play since 2015: 0 - 3 Shady has yet to rush for 100yds in a game TT doesn't start. /thread.
  10. Reading through this thread and seeing certain people take away the Bills' "garbage" time points makes me laugh. Go ahead and do that for every team in the NFL or don't do it at all please. Also, scoring isn't cherry-picking stats. Scoring is the stat.
  11. He sounds like a person who's always seeking attention.
  12. Why in the world would they cut him at that point? Youre inventing and worrying about imaginary scenarios in your head. The NFL is a cap driven league. If it doesnt directly affect the cap, then dont lose much sleep over it.
  13. So hes not coming here?
  14. Of course theyll have the stones. Because combining TT's cap hit with that of a 2nd round draft pick we are still taking only an average cap hit at the QB position compared to other teams in the NFL. And THAT is the only thing that matters.
  15. Off topic kinda: Most players in super bowl 51 5- Rutgers 4- Alabama 4- LSU 4- Stanford 3- Auburn 3- Georgia 3- Virginia 3- Washington
  16. Indeed man. Its been a long journey.
  17. Graduated grade school. High school. College. Masters. Moved 4x to three different states. Married.
  18. My thoughts exactly.
  19. Top 3 greatest QB of all time if not the greatest of all time. This Super Bowl will not hurt him at all even if he loses.
  20. I dont like Atlanta but their offense poses biggest danger to Pats if the pats end up making it.
  21. Its tiresome dealing with Stupid. The Bills had 205 fewer pass ATTEMPTS than the leader in pass attempts last year (Baltimore). 205. Let that sink in. Thats almost 6 games worth of pass attempts. And people continue to criticize TT for not having passing yards. Its hard to argue with Stupid. TT ran the offense his coaches wanted him to run and he did so at a clip of 7th in scoring leading into Week 17 and top 10 in scoring in the NFL since 2015. Hard to argue with Stupid. TT cant beat .500 teams? With playoffs STILL in sight TT had the game of his career against the Dolphins which set an alltime record for scrimmage yards by a Bills offense. A record. Hard to argue with stupid. By comparison, Kirk Cousins with the season on the line choked vs the Giants. Kirk Cousins failed to beat a single team above .500 last year (2015). So does he suck? Hard to argue with Stupid.
  22. The 30th in passing is so 2016 already Ryan. If someone worked 3 hours and made $100 an hour to earn his $300, would you say that person is inferior to the person working 80 hrs making $5 an hour to earn his $400? /thread. 😍
  23. Reasonable take. Injuries do make a group look worse than it possibly was/is
  24. But wasn't the concern about agility? But I thought the concern in this thread was agility. Several of our o-line were agile enough to move around to perform their blocks last season, so why wouldn't they be agile enough to move in the same direction?
