  1. Several posts in this thread made me laugh. Well done folks.
  2. According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, new Browns QBs coach David Lee likes Tyrod Taylor "a lot" after the two worked together in Buffalo the past two seasons.
  3. Looking back, that was a pretty hostile/ rough situation for Losman to be put in. And in typical Billsy fashion, when faced with adversity just implode.
  4. In two years starting did he get better from his time as a backup? Lets see: two years starting and two pro bowl invites. His first season starting was exactly comparable to RG3's Rookie of the Year season where he was the talk of the town. Yeh he slightly regressed this year. That tends to happen when youre not at Brady's talent level and you have 5 WR on injured reserve. So to answer your question, id say yes, his two years in Buffalo were better than his time in Baltimore
  5. Ok. Watkins should focus on playing an entire season. when Sammy was mostly healthy in 2015 he lit it up with TT. Not sure why anyone thinks he wouldnt want TT.
  6. Agreed. Looking at the numbers theres a clear line of demarcation between Rice, Moss, Owens and everyone else.
  7. In terms of WR its really Rice, Moss, and then Owens. Owens is 2nd all time in yards and 3rd all time in TD's. The players you mention were great players, but to be top 3 at your position ALL TIME and not be a first ballot HOF is laughable. IMO. Megatron was awesome. But IMO part of being at a Rice Owens Moss level is the ability to do it over a long duration of time. Megatron didnt. He falls a bit short of that level
  8. Lol. Superior in what way? Terrell Owens numbers blow away Harrison, Reed, Holt, and Irvin. More yards/td's than any of those guys. So whats your subjective basis for analysis?
  9. The pinnacle of irony about vic and his ilk is that the self-absorbed and me-first attitudes they describe to put down athletes like TO are the very same attributes they display when they pull $h*t like this. Embarrassing.
  10. IQ levels of gnats is the problem.
  11. I dont understand whats so very difficult to understand about this: its a business. No business wants to go full on tank mode unless they absolutely have to. Prior to last season id say easily half of the fanbase thought we had a good chance of going about 10-6 and making the wildcard. Probably 90% of the fanbase thought we would finish somewhere between 7-9 and 10-6. Unfortunately due to injuries and bad coaching it was a worse case scenario. Even under those dire circumstances we still were in the playoff hunt late in December. Keeping Tyrod and building for the future are not two mutually exclusive occurrences. Forget guaranteed money. 20th in salary cap at the QB position is not preventing us from signing other players.
  12. March 9-11 cant come soon enough. Having to endure the same topic is mentally taxing.
  13. If we are to let go of TT then yeh we def need a QB in this draft in first 2rds. But id rather trade down from where we are.
  14. IMO. Any example that has HOF QB's in it is not a good example. To say they are the exception as opposed to the rule is an understatment.
  15. Expanding on what i said earlier. I want cardale to succeed. My main concern is that we've been consistently told hes a project. So to go from project going into week 17 one season to starting QB the following season seems like a stretch.
  16. I base my opinion on the fact that everyone from coaches to management have said that Cardale is still a project. Going into week 17 he wasnt even active. And the Bills were playing a team that had mailed it in 6 weeks ago in the Jets. We werent playing the Seahawks.
  17. If Cardale was not ready (and it showed) to be a starting QB week 17 how can we expect him to be ready week 1?
  18. Another thread discussing the same topic being discussed in 30 other threads
  19. According to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, Tyrod Taylor is not open to a contract restructure.
  20. What exactly does your chart prove? Nothing. Look at every team there. I see a whole lot of 1's and 2's taken at QB. Bills are at 2. I also see a lot of teams with more than 7DB's taken too.
