Tyrod reportedly looking at real estate in BUFFALO

Lmfao. This is good stuff. Thanks -
I dont personally view him as a top 3 corner in the NFL. Though obviously contracts keep going up so theres that

Gilmore wants to be paid ~$14m annually. Gilmore wants more than Janoris Jenkins ($12.5 million per year) got last offseason and more than the $14 million annually Richard Sherman received in 2014. Only two cornerbacks -- Josh Norman ($15 million) and Patrick Peterson ($14.01 million) -- make more than Sherman, so Gilmore is probably looking to set a new mark for corners. Gilmore turns 27 this year and is drawing significant interest from the Bears. He's unlikely to re-sign with the Bills. Source nbc sports

I dont think its been posted so have to pump him up: Jabrill Peppers, based on his combine: - Runs faster than Antonio Brown - Quicker than DeSean Jackson - Jumps higher than A.J. Green

Glennon to get $14-$15m / yr
bobobonators replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So now we diminish division rivalry games too. Miami made the playoffs no? Again, in those three games our defense averaged 33 points against. Remind me again where the problem lies. Overall Our defense points against vs division opponents: 37 0* (no brady) 28 41 34 30 If your defense gets obliterated vs divisional opponents you dont stand a chance at the playoffs. And these amazing defensive performances came with a QB that doesnt throw 2-3int per game. -

Youre really something else. "Pantsed" by Tanny and Fitz. You mean our DEFENSE was "pantsed" by Tanny and Fitz. In 3 games vs the Jets/Fins Tyrod averaged: 322 all purpose yards per game And TOTALED 8TD 1INT If you call that getting "pantsed" you need to go watch another sport. In those 3 games our defense gave up 37 points, 28 points, and 34 points. -
Tyrod reportedly looking at real estate in BUFFALO

Lol. He doesnt make 20k a year. It his lease is up he can afford a 5 star hotel for 5 days or a $5k/week air bnb if he had to really hold himself over. Would make more sense than looking to buy something if he knew the Bills werent picking up the option. He has an insane amount of options at his disposal which make more sense than buying property. Again, this is assuming this story is even accurate. -

This story may be bunk. Logically speaking though, with only 5 days left before his fate is "officially" known, it doesnt make sense for him to look for properties in OP unless he already knows hes staying. -

Im not tying my dreams to Cardale, but at the same time we knew he was a project all along. So treat him as a project and continue to develop him. Dont just discard him completely. We already have a QB who is more than serviceable in the meantime in TT. if TT continues to improve the more games he starts than awesome. If he stays about the same then Cardale has more time to work on his game and possibly show what he can do in 2018. Haha. Thanks. Its been a struggle for about 5mo now. -

Ill quote myself: Since 2015, the Chiefs are 15 - 1 in games where they score 25 points or more. Since 2015, the Bills are 9 - 8 in games where they score 25 points or more. That right there is the difference between 8-8 and playoffs. What do you think the main difference is between those two teams/records is? The defense and coaching. And no, the chiefs dont have an elite defense. So dont start the argument that we need the ravens defense from 2000/2001 in order to be successful with TT. -

So what you basically said is: Yes, I admit that the offense scored a lot, but they didnt score how I wanted them to score so I want to change it. Why is our offense a "gadget" offense but a pass heavy offense isnt a "gadget" offense? People need to put their subjective views aside and accept the following reality: we scored a lot of points with TT as our QB. And no he wasnt the MAIN reason but he was a substantial cog in the machine. A cog that isnt as easily replaceable as many here believe. As a simple example, since 2015 We had a winning record in games Shady didnt start and we were 0-3 in games TT didnt start. -

I still dont understand how in this entire conversation we simply discard Cardale. Everyone wants to cut Tyrod and draft another QB. Cardale was drafted as a project but with potential upside. Why cant we have a bridge to Cardale the next 1-2yrs? Under Tyrod, this offense has broken Bills records for scoring and ranked in the top 10 in scoring over 2 seasons - averaging out to be top 10 in scoring for 2 seasons isnt done with smoke and mirrors. Its not a fluke. Having a Qb that ranks around 20th against the cap but leads an offense that puts up a lot of points sounds like a great freaking bridge to me. You cant on one hand argue that QB is the most important position and at the same time argue that we scored so much IN SPITE of TT. The argument is simply flawed. You dont average to be top 10 in scoring over 2 seasons in NFL with garbage at the QB position. It doesnt happen. Keep TT. Develop Cardale. Improve the defense. -

People who bring up this tired argument are out of touch with the basic principles of supply and demand. Paying a QB - who was named to back to back pro bowls and has a ridiculously good TD/INT ratio and is still 27yrs old - a salary that amounts to a cap hit that would put him around the 20th highest paid QB in the NFL isnt stupid is as stupid does. -

Exactly. People prefer to talk about the price of steaks at a restaurant as a point of comparison. -

If he gets signed to start then he'll likely be making that /yr. if you look at salaries of NFL starting QB's (excluding rookie contracts) the lowest avg/yr was $12m. -
According to Yahoo's Charles Robinson, "multiple NFL sources" anticipate free agent Mike Glennon landing a deal worth $14-15 million per year. Remind me again how we're grossly overpaying for Tyrod.

When people predict the collapse of the NFL i ask: where is the sport and/or the league going? The sport has been around for a century. Football is woven into the fabric of american culture. The EPL isnt going under in the UK The NFL, MLB, and NBA arent going under in the US La Liga isnt going under in Spain Stop the drama. Pay your taxes. They arent going away either.

We really are a QB away? 6th in scoring in the NFL leading into week 17 and you think offense was the problem?
-
Dropping dimes. Lol

Cowboys SS Barry Church told a Dallas radio station that Tony Romo played "like 2014 Romo" in late-season practices. He looked great back there," Church said. "He was dropping some dimes, some serious dimes against the No. 1 defense. We went against him on 7-on-7 drills." Church said he would answer "Yeah, go get him," if asked by a quarterback-needy team whether Romo was worth pursuing. - Dallas morning news
