  1. http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2017/09/buffalo_bills_tyrod_taylor_earns_high_week_2_grade_from_pro_football_focus.html Buffalo Bills' Tyrod Taylor earns high Week 2 grade from Pro Football Focus
  2. He better have a big year. If we are only going to rush 4, Hughes has to able to apply pressure or else we will be torn to shreds in zone coverage.
  3. My opinion on this ridiculously long thread: There are questions in my mind as to how well or poorly that route was run. Its unquestioble that Zay partially ran into the defender possibly altering the time and direction of that route. That being said, the ball was in a spot where he was still able to put both hands on it without a defender in coverage. I would like the WR to make that catch. Make a play. In the same game we saw how a running back (mcCaffrey) jumped over his defender and snagged the ball to make a play for his QB and get a big 1st down on what I consider a tougher catch. And hes a RB. As a WR Zay shouldve had that.
  4. here you go https://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/196380-rick-dennison/
  5. I 100% agree with you. Every defense is going to give up some points; some long drives; etc. it happens.. I'm just hoping that this season isn't the reverse of last season. Just like we can sit here and say that if the defense only gives up 9 points, last season we were saying the reverse: When the Bills lost the following games despite scoring 31 (Jets); 25 (Fins); 25 (Pats); 25 (Hawks); 31 (Fins). Billsy.
  6. What an amazing turnaround so far. What an indictment on Rex Ryan. Remember, the Jets put up 37 and 30 points against us last season. Utterly embarrassing.
  7. Fair enough. That being said, our WR had a chance to make a play at the end of the game, and dropped the ball.
  8. Regarding several posts I've read on this forum regarding teams stacking the box and our offense not being able to do anything because of that simple fact: Teams were stacking the box last season too. When Sammy and Woods were BOTH injured at the same time, what did we have at WR last season? Absolutely nothing. Teams stacking the box isn't a novel idea against us; it's absolutely nothing new. How we respond to that game plan this year is the difference. The difference is the OC. Look at the Miami game last year (@Miami). No Robert Woods. No Sammy Watkins. Shady got injured and had 8 rushing attempts for 11 yards. We are fielding absolutely nothing at the WR spot last year in that game, and Shady is out/ineffective. Yet the offense still managed to put up 25 points and Tyrod had over 250yds total offense and 2 TD's. I fully realize that it's two completely different games. But that offense yesterday had more talent on the field than the Bills did against Miami and we showed zero effectiveness.
  9. I agree. Part of the reason we stockpiled picks is bc 3 picks may go to just 2 players: using two to trade up to get a QB and on a RB
  10. Great thread Virgil. What concerned me most about the offense yesterday was the following: 1. The Panthers DL got penetration on almost every play. We lost the LOS battle badly on the offensive side yesterday. 2. We didnt have an in-game adjustment for Carolina's defensive game plan. I would have liked to see more misdirection plays and QB rollouts. We used very little of the run option that has been unstoppable for over a year. The one play i recall us using it yesterday Tyrod held it and effectively ran for 6/7 yds. We needed more of that yesterday to simply move the chains more, if anything. But we didnt. 3. When it was clear that we werent going to be able to run the ball we should have started going into more spread formations on 1st down and 2nd down earlier in the game instead of waiting until the end of the game. 4. The defense was a monster yesterday. Not a bad thing to say about that unit. The best game Hughes has had in a long time in my opinion. We need Hughes to continue having games like that.
  11. Hahaha. I dont know why i found your comment so funny. Maybe the animals part.
  12. Gronk may be injured again. Raiders, with Beast Mode, look like the Falcons of the AFC. What an offense.
  13. So if the Oline didnt play great. And Shady didnt play great. Makes sense that Tyrod wouldnt play too hot either. Why no "it happens" there?
  14. Id love to see the Falcons and Raiders in the Super Bowl.
  15. Affer reading several posts I'm not saying Dennison should be fired. What im saying is that we had ample evidence during the game that the strategy we had for the offense wasnt working. At all. We never made an adjustment. Spread out the defense. Call more playaction. Call more option reads with TT and Shady. The one we did call was successful. Go hurry up offense. Call some gadget plays that can create some kind of energy. Sometimes you just need a spark to get things rolling. We didnt have a single spark until the last minute when it was too late.
  16. Worst move Jimmy Graham ever did was leave Saints.
  17. Can we bench you?
  18. I always root against the Dolphins.
  19. Im actually impressed 56k showed up to watch Rams/Skins. Dolphins win. Ugh.
  20. Whats the capacity for the Chargers stadium?
  21. Speaking of bad offenses. The Hawks look atrocious now in back to back weeks.
  22. Dez Bryant just caught a TD in the end zone and it coulve been called offensive PI too. But it wasnt.
  23. To be fair only 1 OC has been fired and the only reason he was fired was bc Rex had to have a sacrificial lamb that wasnt one of his buddies.
