Denver doesn't want to come here.

It was supposed to be light-hearted and somewhat positive. Start another Tyrod sucks thread. -
Denver doesn't want to come here.

Again, I don't want to overreact, because it has only been 2 games. Facts remain: Tyrod played very little this preseason and that's a problem; we have a new OC with a new philosophy and that's a hurdle; the fact that Tyrod played little in preseason compounds the difficulties with the new system even further; the fact that all the WR's on this team weren't on the team last year further compounds all of the aforementioned problems even further. We'll see how it plays out. -
Perspective from around the NFL Week 2

Something to be said about having a system and structure in place. How long have Pete Carroll and Bevell been there? That system has been the same on the offensive side now, for at least 5-6 years. Wilson has had the same HC and OC his entire career. Tyrod averages a new OC every 10 games he's been at Buffalo, despite the offense never being the main problem since he's been here. -

Perfectly stated. Thank you. That one post i referenced 1.5 seconds specifically referenced one play of the Carolina game where posters stated "typical tyrod". From the time Tyrod took his first step back, to the time Tyrod got tackled by the Carolina defender, approximately 1.5 seconds went by. The 1.5 seconds wasnt meant to reflect his avg time to throw on all passes. Just that one play. Though im sure if people cared, they could easily use the All22 and figure out how muuch time Tyrod had in the pocket in the Panthers game before he got sacked or rushed. Id say average of probably 2 seconds last week -

The Cardinals are a team that have gotten very old, very fast. Eli and the Giants look horrible. Seahwawks offense looks horrible. Bengals offense looks horrible. -

How many QB's get the ball out in 1.5 seconds? sorry hes not Tom Brady. We know that. Furthermore to be that confident to get the ball out in 1.5 seconds requires reps with your WR. Something TT doesnt have. It requires chemsitry as an offense. Something we dont have yet. -
Denver doesn't want to come here.

After 2 weeks I'm not quite sure what Dennison's offense is. Still to be determined in my opinion. I have concerns, but at the same time I don't want to just say he's awful. -

Really? Again, with the false narrative. It was one game. Tyrod's last 5 games started prior to Carolina: Offense scored 21 (Jets); 31 (Miami); 33 (Cleveland); 20 (Pitt); 24 (Oakland). That's an average of 25.8 points per game. Tyrod has average approximately 265 all purpose yards and 2 TD's per game, and a completion % in the 60s. Not Rodgers numbers, but "figured out?" Have teams figured out Russell Wilson? He has 1 TD in two games and two sub-200yd passing games against the mighty 49ers and the vaunted Packers defense. And a completion % in the mid 50's. -
ahah. Did he? That one INT Eli threw on the first play after the Giants got a strip fumble on Stafford may have been the turning point with momentum. That was a brutal pass.

Fair. Every game in the NFL is so different though. I think we have two very simple things going for us this game: We are coming off arguably our worst offensive performance in 2 years, and Denver is high as a kite right now after manhandling the Cowgirls. Law of averages, we should improve and Denver should regress a bit this game. We'll see how it plays out. -
Valid question. I'm not sure we want to put a young QB's career in Dennison's hands. I don't know. We'll see how Dennison evolves here. It's only week 2.

There is a strong narrative after Week 2 of this season that somehow what happened last week vs the Panthers was "more of the same" from this offense. That narrative is false. In 31 games that Tyrod has started, this offense has managed 10 points or less 3 times. And that's with 3 different OC's and 2 different HC's. By comparison, the great Russell Wilson, has led an offense to 10 points or less 5 times in 34 games. Bad games happen, Week 2 vs the Panthers was a bad game. But lets not go overboard with the narrative. -

Lmfao. Pretty accurate. -
Yay. I dont think anyone here was happy to see Lynn go. Sure, some people didnt want him to be the HC but I think everyone acknowledges he did a great job as the OC. It amazes me how the NFL can be so fiercely competitive yet we see the same coaches recycled over and over and over again.

Denver doesn't want to travel to Buffalo. August 17 (preseason Week 2). That was the last time the Denver Ponies had to travel anywhere. They've been taking poops in their luxurious home toilets for over a month now; eating mama's cooking for 4 weeks; devouring grandma's edibles for more than 30 days. Denver doesn't want to travel to Buffalo on Sunday. Who does? The Ponies dominated the Cowgirls at home week 2. Big deal. Everyone knows Ewoks can't breathe at those altitudes; they certainly can't play football. The boltless Chargers should've taken that game to OT in Denver's home opener..but the Chargers suck. Not impressed at all. Denver does not want to come to Buffalo; those funny cookies they eat in Colorado are not legal in Buffalo and the toilets are definitely nothing special. No, the Ponies would rather stay home, reading up on ESPN Power Rankings about how good they are, while sitting on their luxurious home toilets, eating edibles, waiting for the Oakland Raiders to come to Denver for their Week 4 matchup. The Denver Ponies definitely do not want to travel to Buffalo. Good night.

So Clay's drop in the end zone week 1 wasnt a drop and this one here wasnt a drop either? Posters here are so kind and generous with NFL WR's apparently. Im curious, does your generosity also extend to the QB when determing what a "bad throw" is? I mean if the pass isnt exactly in the middle of the numbers, im sure such a generous and open minded person like yourself would surely understand. Correct? -
Yeh I agree. His HOF ballot is going to be interesting. He certainly has compiled some numbers and what helps him most are the SB performances. But in an era with Brady, Brees, Peyton, Rodgers, Even when Eli was in his prime, he was never better than those. Then throw in Big Ben, Matt Ryan, Stafford. Etc. But he does have the hardware though. Cant take that away from him.
