  1. Rapp made some plays last year. I like him. Biggest question mark with him will be his size and durability.
  2. https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/trump-approves-3-billion-arms-sale-israel/ As an American, it’s so sad to see my fellow citizens, who are friends and/or neighbors, in the federal government get shitcanned or disrespected, but the wallet is always open to send my dollars and resources to this other country. How more people don’t get outraged at the hypocrisy of it all is beyond my comprehension. The wallet and piggy bank are always open for Israel.
  3. I completely agree. I was kinda playing along to the ridiculousness of the thread. Why the Rams? Bc his fiance is in Hollywood? Allen isn’t from LA. He grew up a 49ers fan. Shut it down.
  4. Wouldn’t the 49ers make more sense? Shanahan ain’t no slouch either.
  5. Our offense stayed mostly healthy last season - especially the OL. I don’t expect the offense to repeat this level of production next season, though they’ll still be great. I agree we need to focus on defense, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take a shot on a 3rd round speedster at WR. Or address it elsewhere in FA or via trade.
  6. Dont be obtuse. Mostert is turning 33 in April. Cook is just entering his prime at 25/26. He should get paid by someone. Hopefully it’s not us though - but not because Cook is undeserving.
  7. Part of what makes Allen top end is his physicality. I agree with the OP - realistically he likely has ~5yrs left of top end production. Not to say he’ll be bad at 35 but I can’t expect him to perform at this level.
  8. It’s too early to criticize Coleman. He was showing some flashes before the injury. Elam was an abomination of a pick. For McD being a defensive coach and doing such a great job with other players in the secondary, this far of a miss is a head scratcher. Kincaid has one more year, in my opinion, before we can get really down on him. The Elam debacle and the inability to hit on an edge rusher after all these years have been the biggest misses that have kept us from winning a Super Bowl in my opinion.
  9. I keep Shakir. He took a jump this season and it’s only going to get better. Hes so underrated. And that’s it in my opinion. Benford would be my next man up but I don’t think he’s worth that money. Hes solid but not a difference maker. I love Bernard but the dude is always injured. His frame might be too small for the 20 games a season we have to play now. What a shame we couldn’t put his brain and passion in Edmunds body. Cook is also great in this offense but we have seen all RB’s on the roster excel in this offense. The one game Ray Davis started he had +150 all purpose yards.
  10. I’m being conservative. I’m not saying he’ll fall of a cliff. But I’m also not going to expect MVP type seasons when he’s 36-37yrs old.
  11. I’m certainly not an expert, but the void year option may be a tool for a team like the Bills bc we are so close. We have our franchise QB. We have a top tier RB. Some pieces on defense. Allen is turning 29. Likely will have ~4 more years in his prime and then will still be really good likely for another couple of years but will likely start tailing off. We have ~4 prime years of Allen to take this home. Go all in.
  12. Drafting Shakir and signing Mack Hollins were both great moves. Keon was showing flashes before the injury. The guy missed 4? or 5 weeks with that injury, derailing his season.
  13. Alright guys. Every draft pick we have spend on DL.
  14. We need to find dominance on the DL. Oliver is great but we need someone else as good or better than Oliver. Crazy how avg Mahomes look when he doesn’t have 10sec to throw.
  15. I understand. I absolutely think Myles would be a game wrecker for us. Perhaps I feel hesitant bc we got burned on Von Miller. I fear spending draft picks + salary cap on such an older player. We realistically would have a 2yr window with him. If you miss on a young player at least you only lose draft picks. I concede that if Myles were to stay healthy and perform like he has to date, he would completely put us over the top imo.
  16. I agree about Hamlin. He’d be solid depth/ST. No way should he be starting.
  17. Trey Hendrickson - 3rd round maxx Crosby - 4th round chris Jones - 2nd round aaron Donald - mid 1st round D Hunter - 3rd round tj watt - end of 1st round You don’t need a top 5 pick to get stud DL. Draft better.
  18. With all due respect to my man-crush Josh, Maximus Decimus Meridius had a better story.
  19. Myles would seem like the obvious answer. I hesitate putting all our eggs in this basket. He’s going to be on the wrong side of 30 and any type of significant injury will have significant impacts on his performance and this team. We need to draft better. Every year there are players similar to Myles in the draft. Just like McD changed his coaching style over the years and became more aggressive, Beane and McD need to adjust their drafting style and become more aggressive. Focus less on system fit and character, and focus more on pure raw talent. We are no longer rebuilding a losing franchise, we are at the top of the AFC every year. We don’t have to rely so much on character fits. Tee Higgins will not put the Bills over the top. He is always injured - every season. I think the obvious answer has to be a game wrecker on DL. Question is do we trade draft picks to move up in the draft and try to hit a HR or do we do that with Myles?
  20. Kincaid catches that ball and Allen is a hero. This thread doesn’t exist.
  21. The trio of Spags, Reid and Mahomes is deadly. Spags is the dude that beat the GOAT with Eli Mannig. His defenses always showed up when it mattered most. And of course the dude has no desire to be a HC so he’s just going to die in KC. Reid is an offensive genius. And Mahomes is a clutch, great player. It’s just a brutal trio to overcome. You have to play a perfect game and have some balls bounce your way to beat them. Neither happened for us. We are an amazing team. What hurts most is knowing that we would possibly have 2 Super Bowls by now if not for the Chiefs. That’s what really hurts with all of this.
  22. Right there with you brother. I have a brutal headache from this loss.
