I mean can we really go into the season with bowen, ellison, and harris (Pat thomas too I think) as possible starters at Strong side LB? I hope not, those guys are all good back up options, but we need to upgrade that position if possible-

Hey retard who runs this board, does this look familiar? And you merged it with "Falcons cut Micheal Vick" by Skooby. Maybe you should merge any topic that is about football then huh? Idiot- post Yesterday, 12:41 PM http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/features/ru...atures%2frumors This is very interesting. Espn insider has this to say today: The surprising QB that the Bills will covet? Now I dont have insider so I dont know who they are talking about, but lets be realistic, who else could it be but Michael Vick? I am just speculating, but look at the article and if you have insider, please let me know who they are TALKING ABOUT!!! It may not be Vick, but who is still available that could beat out our current back up QB, Ryan Fitzpatrick (not that he is that good or anything) 1.Whats your take, who could it be? 2. If is Vick, what do you think? If you have insider, please let me know who ESPN is talking about My opinion, Vick has not paid his debt yet (23 months is alot of jail time for dog fighting) but I want him to prove he has changed, and I dont feel he has done that yet. I would like to see him re-deem himself and do something positive for the DOG (especially pit bulls) community -

5 years 50 Million-are you serious?
toddgurley replied to toddgurley's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope, your not allowed. However, I have a real hard time buying that the NYJ will be better than us. For that matter, I have serious doubts about the ONE YEAR WONDER Miami Dolphins being better this year. Using that same theory, the NYJ have no real qb threat (Sanchez is not Flacco or Ryan), and even if Sanchez does ok-who will he throw to? The #1 wr would be a 2 on most teams and then they have no legit #2. They do however have a good TE and O-line, but BOTH there RB are disgruntled and are talking about showing up late to camp if at all -

The Jets did not pick 5th my man, they traded up to get him. So yes, it is the jets fault sort of. They knew what top five picks get in 1st contracts. Now if the Jets stayed put and draft in their regular spot, I would have no argument, but they did have a choice, and they chose to trade up-right or wrong? But i agree, the system must change now -
White throwback unis are coming
toddgurley replied to BarkLessWagMore's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. Go to old ones, any of them are better than the current ones!! I love the blue throwbacks myelf -
When I read this, I had to double check it to make sure I was reading what I thought I was. The NYJ have just made GQ cover boy and rookie QB Mark Sanchez the HIGHEST PAID PLAYER IN FRANCHISE HISTORY, without him ever playing a down!! I wonder how his Jet teammates feel about that, and especially Kellen Clemens. With the signing of that contract, you would think that Sanchez would be the starter. I mean can you pay a guy 5 yr 50 million with 28 MILLION being guaranteed and have him sit the bench? I doubt it. MY OPINION-I know he was the 5th pick and a qb but 50 Million and $28 Million guaranteed to a guy who your not sure can beat out your back up QB (Clemens) so I think It was extremely stupid, and a very high price. I Know that Stafford signed a 6yr/72 million dollar deal, which is still high but makes more sense to me than the Sanchez deal. And on another note, I think that a ROOKIE CAP has to happen soon. Some of these contracts to "unproven players" are just getting out of hand. What do you guys think? 1. Is Sanchez gonna be good? 2. What do you think of him being highest paid player in NYJ Franchise History? 3. Should Sanchez even start over Clemens? 4. How will NYJ do this year? Can they possible have a better record then the BILLs or no? (God, i hope not lol) Let me know your opinion-

relax, the 2nd rd pick is NOT ALLOWED to participate until his former college has graduation or finals week. SO its and NFL RULE that he is not allowed to participate until then. NO BIG DEAL-its just some stupid rule

5 preseason games for Bills this year-
toddgurley replied to toddgurley's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is the Bills Pre-season schedule Wk Date Game Stadium Time (ET) HOF Aug 09 BUF @ TEN Fawcett Stadium 8:00 PM P1 Aug 15 CHI @ BUF Ralph Wilson Stadium 7:00 PM P2 Aug 22 BUF @ GB Lambeau Field 8:00 PM P3 Aug 29 BUF @ PIT Heinz Field 7:30 PM P4 Sep 03 DET @ BUF Ralph Wilson Stadium 6:30 PM -
Not sure if you realized or not, but because of the Bills playing in the Hall of Fame game this year, that they will play an extra (so 5 preseason games) this year. Only Tenn and Buffalo will play 5, everyone else will play 4. Does this help our team at all, especially our starting team offense? Or does this hurt us because there is now an extra chance for injury? My opinion is, if our coaching staff uses this "extra game" correctly, if could benefit our whole team. In theory we should be fine tuning our offense by our 3 and 4th games, when other teams should be still getting the wrinkles out. Especially a team like the NYJ, who have new coaches and a new QB. The final preseason game should also help get a better look at some of the back up players who are just trying to make the final roster cut- What do you guys think? Does it matter or not

Is Buffalo ready for the T-Gun?
toddgurley replied to DIE HARD 1967's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
for the record, our center Hangartner, is one of the smartest o-linemen in the league. We scored an unreal number one his wonderlic exam before he was drafted (like a 47 or something unreal). So he has the smarts for it, now whether or not we have the coaches is the question? Because we have the talent at wr and rb to create alot of mismatches- It will all depend on one thing-TRENT EDWARDS -
Will the K-Gun Offense Work This Time Around?
toddgurley replied to Kenwick's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the theory is simple, go NO HUDDLE to create match ups in our favor, i.e. one of of talented WR matched up on LB or maybe LEE or TO in single coverage. The idea is Trent will recognize this quickly and get rid of the ball. So if your O-line is bad, the idea is to get rid of the ball before the rush or blitz gets there- So it is supposed to counter the pass rush or a bad O-line and take advantages that our WR core should create- Bottom line-ITS ALL ON TRENT to make the right reads and decisions. http://msn.foxsports.com/rumors/nfl Waters wants to leave Chiefs per KC STAR and http://www.thewarpath.net/nfl-news-wire/30...nds-kansas.html Disgruntled player arrives for mini camp Brian Waters has been saying he wants out of KC ever since GM Pioli came into town. He has reported to the 1st day of mini camp, which was Friday June 5th. However, he has since blew off some engagements he has had for the Chiefs and now "apparently" wants out of KC. Waters is 32 and is 6'3-320lbs. He started all 16 at LG and made the PRO BOWL last season. Last season he made 5.285 million dollars and I would assume he would make more this up coming season- With all that being said, if this guy is available, DO WE WANT HIM? Think about it- I would say yes, depending on a couple of things. Most importantly, that you dont give up anthing more than a 4th rounder (3rd at very most) for him, and does anyone know his current contract status? I think he has 3 years left on it (but not certain)

well this thread is a waste of time. What are you talking about? who cares about TO housing situation, worry about stuff the matters-

Where the Bills are Still the Weakest .....
toddgurley replied to Kenwick's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ya our o-line was down right terribel. Our joke of a center (no matter who is was) got pushed back almost everytime. So the o-line is still a question mark, but it cant really be worse than lasts year, could it? I hope not! -
I will agree for the most part. Just read the bruce smith article about him choosing ted cotrell to induct him into the hall. Bruce says that he would not have been the player he was, if not for ted-

lets hope so buddy, cause nothing would make me happier (other than beating the steelers in pitt during the playoffs, cause i hate them more because of their fans)

Pats* Think McKelvin Was Weakspot
toddgurley replied to bourbonboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i hear ya man, but it seems like the whole team just lays down for the "nfl favorite almighty pats. I hope aaron rebounds and has a great year, but i just dont know about him. Hopefully he proves me wrong and we beats those !@#$ers when it counts!!! Go Bills -
Pats* Think McKelvin Was Weakspot
toddgurley replied to bourbonboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yup, and thats when you go deep to evans. Bellicheat will probably have his 3-4 defense all stand up at the line (like they did to us a couple of seasons ago) to confuse the linemen on who is actually rushing the QB A good coach will adjust to that, but unfortunatley, we have jauron -

if true, its a stupid and irrelevant stat. The only one that matters, is his record vs the pats(or brady's record vs Bills), and its not a good w-l record -
Jaws: Edwards is going to be a tremendous NFL quarterback
toddgurley replied to SKOOBY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No offense that's great and all, but JAWS did the same thing 2 or 3 seasons ago with JP. Jaws worked with JP over that offseason along with Frank Wyche (sp) and then seemed to give JP the stamp of approval. We all know how that worked out. With that being said, I do think Trent is gonna have a Tony Romo type break out season. You know the season were everyone picked them to win or go to the superbowl. Trent is very smart and I think he will make good decisions in the NO HUDDLE, because of the match ups it will create. GO BILLS
