Fair weather fan who knows little about football. It's not about sexy picks, it's about the right ones
-
why would we want OTs? We have Jonny Scott and the stiff rom Oakland in those spots. OTs are overarted. Lets just draft WRs and DBs and fool everyone.
We don't have jonny scott

Darth making a qb thread. Wow. Give it a rest darth, we all know how ya feel
-
Ngu is gonna lose his job if he reveals info on today's picks. Although, nobody ever accused buddy of being the smartest guy in the room, so maybe not
-
I just heard Jake Locker on espn first take, and I liked him a lot. Sounds really level headed, unlike Jimmy. I hope we give Trent one more year and find a way to get Jake next year
-
Exactly. I see a faulk/Thomas type guy but faster. Can you immagine Gailey going 5 wide and trying to cover this guy in the slot? Whew!!!
yeah then I picture our QB on his back

McGay is a douche
wow, very intellectual

That's weird because Shanny had about eight 1,000 yard rushers in Denver, about 1 or 2 which you could name. Shannahan is known for having great lines. c'mon son!!

I don't believe it's Lynch who instigated the trade talk. It's been reported the Bills wanted to trade him. IMO, a team doesn't want a guy who doesn't want to be there. JMO
IMO you overkill the unnecessary acronym IMO. JMO

He'd be an upgrade over the crap on the roster now which is a sad statement.
I'd take Trent over Bulger every day

Pierre-Paul! aka Maybin 2.0
-
Me last year: "OH MY GOD! Now the pick is a no-brainer. I can't believe Orakpo fell to them. YESS!"
3 minutes later: "AARON !@#$IN MAYBIN???"

Edwards is a future HOFer...and so is Big Ben...BR is getting a bad rap
Celtic Soulja has an unhealthy obsession w/ Trent. I like Trent, but god. Every time I see an borderline gay comment about Trent, Celtic Soulja

I think McClain would be the safest pick. Clausen could be a bust. Bulaga could be a bust, see Gailery. Spiller could be a bust, see Lynch.
Trade down, stock-pile picks. That way the busts won't hurt as much, unless you are Dallas and all your picks are busts.
Agreed. I would really like McClain and Poz as the heart of our D for years to come.

There are a lot of players who I think can be good or even great players (Bulaga, Derrick Morgan, Clausen). But, there are some other players who'd create a real buzz here. Although they might not be proven or the most highly touted as NFL ready, there are a few players who would get people going. My list is:
Tim Tebow
Colt McCoy
Dez Bryant
Mt. Cody
I have a feeling Mr. Brandon is going to put on the full court press for one of these guys. Gotta fill the seats!

Out of that list, the two that will most likely fall to us that I like are morgan and trent williams. And they weren't exactly the ones I liked a lot in the begining. I say take trent williams if he is there, because we seem to need him more. But I wouldn't complain if we took morgan. The guy looks pretty close to a sure thing.
Also, I don't think Braford, okung, Suh, and Mcoy would be on his list since there it is just expected they won't be there.
For what it's worth, I had a dream that we drafted Derrick Morgan last night. I really need to start thinking about something other than the draft!

But they wouldn't

Ravens aren't trading Gaither.

Per ESPN Insider:
Update: Bills GM Buddy Nix threw some cold water on these allegedly hot rumors. "All this trade talk isn't coming from us," he said, per Sal Maiorana of the Democrat and Chronicle. Not a straight-up denial, but it does cast a little doubt.
Back in March, there was a rumor that a "former Pro Bowl RB" was going to be traded this offseason. Some people pegged Marion Barber in that spot, but we always stuck with either Marshawn Lynch, Willis McGahee or Clinton Portis as the mystery man. On Tuesday, we speculated that with the signing of two other RBs within the past week, the Buffalo Bills were now even more likely to trade Lynch.
Now the rumor has become somewhat official, as Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports reports that the Bills will be "entertaining offers" for Lynch heading into next week's draft. Furthermore, Robinson's sources indicate that the team is ready to pull the trigger on a deal if the return package involves a second-round pick. The team mentioned in the report as possibly being interested is the Seattle Seahawks.
On the surface, a Lynch for a second-rounder deal wouldn't seem to make sense given Lynch's declining play and bad behavior off the field. On the other hand, Robinson notes that Lynch does have a relationship with current Seahawks RB Justin Forsett (they were teammates at Cal), so perhaps Forsett could help rein him in. If he could, they'd be getting a first-round talent in exchange for the 60th overall pick. It's also possible that the Bills would send a lower pick out to Seattle in Lynch's carry-on luggage.
He's 23 for god sakes. How can you judge a 3 year body of work like that!? The guy isnt 33, he's 23.

I'd only be on board with passing on Bulagua if we get Gaither.
I can't wait for the day that I open a thread and don't see somebody thinking we're getting Jared Gathier

I'm not convinced any of the Top Talent OT's, will be great LT's in the NFL. Are you? The past drafts have had guys that are "Can't miss" type guys, everything I've read shows that Okung will be good not great, and the two that have the potential to be great, lack the work ethic. I want a player who has the work ethic to be great, and studies hard, and appreciates what the game will give him. I don't see that in the top OT's. I see it in round two.
some guy named big mike aka Michael Oher was considered a late 1st or early 2nd rounder and he's emerged as the best tackle prospect from 09. Let's not drink the kiper mcshay kool aid just yet

I have heard a lot of praise for Drayton Florence's play while Leodis was out last year, but I wasn't all that impressed. With that being said, is there a chance Leodis loses his job to Florence? Leodis seems to lack in the awareness category but he's an athletic freak. Drayton is a little slower but seems to know where he needs to be. Who do you guys think/want starting at CB and nickel?

My friend plays volleyball at JMU and I asked her about him. She said he's a nice guy and dominated at JMU. Not that it's a ton of good info but I thought I'd share.
