I just saw Ayers on the SportsCenter draft special. He seemed like a very level headed guy, looks big enough, and fast enough to make a great transition to the NFL. A few other Tennessee lineman (Haynesworth, Reggie White) have translated well in the NFL. Who would you pick at 11 out of the DE's? Kiper says Ayers would translate best in a 4-3.

I just had the conversation with my friend last night, we don't need to be drafting any white guys. We have enough slow white guys already. As a white male, I can honestly say I'd rather have our new pass rusher be black, 'cause let's face it, the black dudes are better 95% of the time.

I know the draft is all dependent on whether we trade Jason Peters or not, but assuming we fill the LT spot without having to draft, what if we try to trade UP to get Aaron Curry. Curry reminds me of Patrick Willis (who I thought we'd get until he got stolen in the pick right before us). Curry would be the safest bet to sure up our defense right away. We could then get one of the many DE's and TE's in the 2nd and 3rd round.

I completely agree about Royal. He was the worst starter on our team last year. I don't agree that we go get Pettigrew. I think if we get another 1st we get an O lineman, and go for a TE in the second.

Did anyone else read the article on buffalobills.com today? I have always liked Trent, but reading this article just solidifies what a well rounded player/person he is. I don't know what "loosing" is, but I'm so sick of seeing everyone say we're going to be the worst team in the NFL next year. We only lost one blow out game last year, and the rest we could have won, or should have. The team will have another year of experience, and DICK is going to be coaching for his career. I'm going out on a limb and saying 9-10 wins, even with that schedule.
