Spencer looked pretty good to me last year. I'd actually start him over KW if I were coaching.

And how would you know? Can you look downfield to see what's open from your seat/TV? not well enough. I'll take Trent's ability to get someone the ball, and let them do something with it over a guy who has a cannon that can't find a receiver. Enough with the "Checkdown Trent". It's all over TSW, and it's not even a problem in reality. Once again, I suggest you watch the tapes of last year's games. Trent threw deep when he had the opportunity. Problem was, with receivers like Short Lee, Slow Josh, and whoever happened to be #3 that day, in addition to horrible TE's, Trent did fine.

Never said that. Don't quote something I didn't say, 'cause that's not a quote. I said he is "pretty good", which he is for a guy who has so few starts under his belt. He shows all of the things great QB's have (leadership, arm accuracy and strength, ability to manage the game), but his problem right now is consistency. Everyone knows consistency is fixable and comes with experience. JP Losman never showed game management ability, leadership, or accuracy. That's how I knew the guy would fail all along. Trent Edwards has all of the physical and mental tools to be a great QB, and time will bring consistency. Also, I never said he "does NOT need to improve". Even TB and PM have room for improvement. I know Trent has much room for improvement, I've just had enough of everyone ripping on the guy. Gotta love people putting "words in my mouth".

Everyone did NOT like JP. JP didn't have a season half as good as Trent. I hated JP from day 1, and continue to hate him now, and forever.
