I know many of you hate poz, and think we need a new MLB, but I really think he showed what a solid player he can be down the stretch. IF he can stay healthy, I think that he can be apart of our future plans. Remember, our D is MUCH better than our O. I think we need another OLB (hopefully maybin?) but going O-Line in the draft is the best option IMO. Anybody find a little man love for Poz like I have?

Donte was def drafted too early BUT did you see him against the run? He plays the run very very well. His pass coverage could use some work, just like jairus' run D needs help. People just look at Jairus as way better than D-White because INT's are more flashy and exciting than stopping the run

Have you seen their O-lines? Every one of those QB's (w/ the exception of Rodgers) has an awesome line in front of him. Don't kid yourself- QB play and O-line play go hand in hand. Good line? Good QB.

Cancer? Wow. You really do hear something new every day. I don't think Trent Edwards has ever done anything in his lifetime to be considered a "cancer".

My biggest pet peeve is when people think a QB solves/causes all problems. Anyone who has ever played or coached football knows that the game is won and lost in the trenches. All of those who are calling for a big time QB in the first round (putting the wagon before the horse) should look at Matthew Stafford, JP Losman, Alex Smith, etc. Every successful team that drafted a big name QB in the first round were one player away. Not us. As much as many of you would like to believe that we can go to the playoffs right away, it's not happening. Maybe in 2 years. We need to build the lines this year, and draft a QB next year when we have all of the other parts in place.

sorry, you didn't sense the sarcasm on another "newflash". anyway, look at the throws trent was able to make when he wasn't running for his life. I don't know what team YOU watched, but when he RARELY got time to make a throw, he could (vs. TB the only team our line could block- long TD's to Lee and TO). Trent has made long throws in the past. He just needs a coach who has confidence in him and tells him to air it out, and a line that can hold for more than 1 second. Arm strength in the NFL is not a priority. Sorry, it's just not. JP could throw it 9 miles but was one of the biggest busts of all time for us. To comment on JP's 19 TD season, he had a decent line. Weird, right?

newsflash. Joe Flacco is a mediocre player with a great line and good backs. The comparison is based on the fact that Joe is an average QB, and so is Trent. What's the difference? Harbaugh, and the Ravens o-line. Compare arm strength all you want, but we've seen trent can make the throws, it's just his confidence (which he no longer has with his crappy oline, and poor coaching) that needs fixing. Look at Fitz's arm. LOOK AT JP LOSMAN'S ARM! don't give me the arm strength argument. It's a joke

people who dont know about football are the ones who think TE should sit behind Fitz. It's a complete joke to think TE is not the best QB we have. I see Trent as a Joe Flacco type with a good team around him. Buffalo has ruined yet another player. JP and Trent are complete opposites. TE has potential. JP was/is a joke

Agree 100%. Looking back (even though I never supported the Maybin pick, I wanted Orakpo), it makes me sick to think we could have had oher, cushing, orakpo, or clay
