  1. But they didn't discuss robbing the bank. They went inside and sat down with the bank manager and wanted to discuss their account balance and some issues they had with it. When the manager said he already checked the balance and it was correct they continued to protest. Then they again asked the manager to check for missing funds. They said "finding" $11K would be good enough. The bank said no, they're not looking again. Then they raised questions of possible bank fraud. Went to court with those claims and got nowhere. But persisted. Then started trying to contact other bank employees. But got nowhere. Then they started snooping around the bank. Then the bank got annoyed and had the arrested for saying the bank was crooked. The problem is none of the actions or statement claiming fraud or interference by Trump's team appear unique to activities around election result challenges. We"ve seen it all before. Like people reaching out to have conversations with election officials. Nobody attempted to do or say lets make up 12,000 fake votes, insert them into the re-count, and claim victory. My point of saying that is to suggest if the main character in this show was somebody else we wouldn't be going back and forth pointing and counter-pointing about charges of conspiracy and such in Georgia because there wouldn't be any.
  2. It's a bit tedious and redundant. 161 acts referenced. 90% of it references making various false statements and conspiracy about election fraud. Like that hasn't happened before. Here's an example. People made phone calls. These are serious crimes. Friggin' comedy. Act 122. On or about the 4th day of January 2021, STEPHEN CLIFFGARD LEE, HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD, and TREVIAN C. KUTTI placed multiple telephone calls and sent text messages to each other and to other individuals involved in the conspiracy. They include the following: l. At 9:41 a.m., STEPHEN CLIFFGARD LEE placed telephone call to HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD. At 11:24 a.m., HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD placed telephone call to DAVID JAMES SHAFER. At 12:25 p.m., STEPHEN CLIFFGARD LEE placed telephone call to HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD. At 12:32 p.m., STEPHEN CLIFFGARD LEE sent text message to HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD. At 8:10 p.m., HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD placed telephone call to DAVID JAMES SHAFER. At 10:00 p.m., HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD placed telephone call to STEPHEN CLIFFGARD LEE. At 10:19 p.m., HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD placed telephone call to TREVIAN C. KUTTI. At 10:43 p.m., TREVIAN C. KUTTI placed telephone call to HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD. At 11:10 p.m., TREVIAN C. KUTTI placed telephone call to HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD. 10. At 12:12 a.m. on January 5, 2021', TREVIAN C. KUTTI placed telephone call to HARRISON WILLIAM PRESCOTT FLOYD. These were overt acts in furtherance of the conspiracy.
  3. I'll say it. My objections aren't over appropriate punishment for violations of the law.
  4. It sounds like the DA's entire case against Trump in Georgia depends on an interpretation of the transcript of a phone call where Trump "demanded" a second recount where he stated "I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have because we won the state." The idea is the DA needs to convince the jury this is a command from the former President to direct others to commit fraud and falsify the election results rather than merely a statement of the objective and mathematically the number of votes required to gain a majority of the vote.
  5. Play amateur psychologist all you'd like. Robert L Peters has been up to no good.
  6. They talk a good game about Democracy while always siding with the State against the individual citizen. But I can't recall a one of them every using the word "Freedom".
  7. The most egregious part of it is they've just got no respect for the game. Its bad enough that Team Left feels no need to follow any rules of order in pursuit of their objectives. But what facilitates that behavior is the fact they've got the ref's in their pocket as most of the people responsible for enforcement of the rules of the political and legal game share their locker room.
  8. You can make the bigger evil argument by referencing Trump all day and night but none of that makes Biden innocent. You can refuse to accept that any reasonably objective person looking at the trail of bread crumbs leading to the President regarding the Biden family's shady dealings would conclude something is rotten here. You don't need complete information or official evidence (that House investigators have but aren't leaking) to draw a conclusion, but what we know already is a clear invitation to look closer. From the use of secret government issued e-mail addresses to claims of not ever discussing or knowing about his son's "business" dealings to being placed at the scene of meetings with client something is going on here. Generally people with secret e-mail accounts are attempting to hide something from somebody. And if all's on the up and up why lie and say you know nothing when you know the truth that you participated? To suggest Joe was duped or some lackey that just showed up at his son's behest and was played like a fool oblivious to how his presence would be used is ridiculous. If Biden has nothing to hide why is he hiding many things? Otherwise, I have no illusions anything short of a live confession on MSNBC would convince you and even then you might still be skeptical of some conspiracy.
  9. Delude yourself to your heart's desire. But when its all said and done this Biden influence peddling operation will go down as the worst political scandal in American history.
  10. Missing the point. The merits of the case or the strength of the charges have no bearing on the issue. They shouldn't be discussing the case with the White House, period. What it does is dispel the illusion Garland insists upon that DOJ is acting independent of the WH on the indictments. Clearly, that's a lie. Another lie. I've lost count of the lies. Maybe just remember the times they told the truth? Clear conflict of interest. Clear ethics violation. Clear political implications. DOJ has no credibility. DOJ needs to explain what they were discussing and why? What I don't get is why Trump's lawyers haven't jumped all over this yet? Motions for disclosure of these contacts and even motions to dismiss should be filed.
  11. With the exception of some of the document charges, they all know these indictments are politically motivated. And contorted thought crime BS. It's not that they believe they're legit. And they're not stupid either. They just don't care. All that matters is get the guy. Rules? We don't need no stinking rules! Why argue with them? You'll never get the truth and when charges are thrown out, acquitted, or discharged on appeal or booted by the Supreme Court they can all act surprised and outraged. But don't expect any rule of law has prevailed admissions.
  12. I rarely drink and maybe the last beer I had was a Sam Adams or two about 4/5 months ago.
  13. Always believed "light" beer was a crime against humanity.
  14. Relatively speaking. Which party is the biggest danger of using the government to restrict freedoms and rights of American citizens? A) Democrats B_ Republicans
  15. A useful insight. In that regard which party is the biggest danger of using the government to restrict freedoms and rights of American citizens? Relatively speaking, whether you support either party or if you're an independent or don't advocate for either I think how each of us answers that question determines most of our views.
  16. Just like the 4 Trump cases, right? They haven't proven anything yet either but that hasn't stopped the TDS'ers from fitting him for a set of orange overalls.
  17. But fortunately they're not too bright and you're counting on them to still be stupid enough to vote for a guy raking in millions in bribes and payoffs.
  18. No but he changed his stage name to Robert L Peters.
  19. If I had to pick a Metallica song I'd choose ..And Justice For All.
  20. The energy sector has done well under Biden. A double since he became President through a combination of policy, demand, supply, and rebound from COVID reasons. One indicator that is particularly troubling for the markets is the high/low data. The number of stocks making 52 week highs vs. the number of stocks making 52 week lows. The recent data I saw for NASDAQ for example, show 5 stocks making highs and 114 making new lows indicate just a handful of stocks are propping up the market and can be an indicator of potential future downside. Hot stocks like NVIDIA riding the current craze for AI may have peaked this week after a reversal from highs after a decent earnings report. Powell's Jackson Hole statements today don't look too supportive of higher stock prices either. I'm going to yellow alert for crash watch to go short.
  21. Trump did not advocate eliminating the Constitution and replace it with decrees and edicts. As usual, context, which were allegations of election fraud. Trump said per CNN “Do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” Trump wrote in a post on the social network Truth Social and accused “Big Tech” of working closely with Democrats. “Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!” What he should have said was: When the people cheating are also responsible for enforcing the rules what good are the rules?
  22. I'm not so sure Trump "walk into jail" on any of these charges. Of the 4 cases the document case seems like it has the greatest legal argument. Pending hearing the specific evidence and the prosecutors argument, not so much. The Bragg case, falsifying business records. The premise I understand is a payment was made to Daniels that was "improperly" booked to an improper account on the business ledger. Not a numerical error, or a tax payment error, but a transaction was logged to the incorrect sub-ledger account, on purpose. To hide the payment. So what? Generally, the purpose of making a discreet payment under an NDA is to keep things quiet. And what exactly was the tangible damage done to the State of New York or any other party? Nothing. This should get thrown out on day 1. The J6 conspiracy and obstruction charge related to the "insurrection". Real simple. Trump was already charged by the House and acquitted by the Senate for his involvement in fomenting the J6 events with the second impeachment trial. The current charges are double jeopardy. Wouldn't be surprised the first motion the defense makes are this reason for grounds to dismiss the charges, which I don't think this biased judge will grant and then see the defense petition the Supreme Court here requesting the charges be dismissed based on the double jeopardy clause of the Constitution. The Georgia case. Want to hear and see more than discussions and expressions of displeasure with the outcome. Being a sore loser is not a crime if that's what its all about hear. The document case. This one has merit. All Trump had to do was turn over the documents to the Achiever. Stupidity and arrogance.
  23. House wants info on Georgia DA contacts with Smith and DOJ. Calling allegations of racism and dare we say white supremacy to the set in 3, 2. 1... Red alert, forward deflectors to full power Scotty. Over/Under 1 1/2 days.
  24. Sorry, unfortunately, my club days have been over for about 20 years!
