  1. The front office isn't doing Josh any favors either. Kincaid is a great add, but the other receivers brought in aren't an upgrade. Watching MNF last night I'm left wondering and somewhat depressed how the Vikings (and some other teams) come up with so many great receivers, adding this kid Jordan Addison through the draft this year which all make slightly above average Kirk Cousins look the part of a franchise QB. I'm left to imagine just how good the Bills offense would look with a couple of these receivers.
  2. Josh takes way more big hits while in the pocket because of inadequate offensive line play and the occasional hero-ball play than he does when running the ball. The problem isn't the running, its not being smart about taking unnecessary hits. Get out of bounds and slide to avoid big impacts. Fixing that is a no-brainer. Fixing the blocking is another story.
  3. On Sunday when the offense took the field my wife made a real-time comment and said the camera close-ups of Allen showed a look in his eyes that indicated Josh is not mentally focused on the game. Then he threw the INT on the first play.
  4. You're equating an assessment of intelligence with the expression of admiration. Which is incorrect and illogical. For example, I think you're smart but that doesn't necessarily mean I like you.
  5. I'm not going to worry because reality is what reality is and this team just isn't playing good ball now. But to make the playoffs a team will need 10, possibly 11 wins. Looking at the rest of the schedule except for the home games against Denver and New England which gets them to 6, where are the other 4 or 5 wins coming from which are needed to get a wildcard spot in the playoffs? They play the way they've been playing you can count Bengals, Eagles, Chiefs, Cowboys, and Dolphins as losses. That's 3 + 5 losses and at best a 9-8 record. Not good enough. 10/26 BUCCANEERS 11/05 @ Bengals 11/13 BRONCOS 11/19 JETS 11/26 @ Eagles 12/10 @ Chiefs 12/17 COWBOYS 12/23 @ Chargers 12/31 PATRIOTS 01/07 @ Dolphins
  6. Terrorists? Now you're comparing J6 protesters to Hamas? You might want to consider the possibility you're mentally challenged.
  7. Too much thinking. These players seem to excell when the pace is fast. The identity the group was developing isn't slow, milk the clock. Ball control is disturbing the entirre space-time continuum of this offense. Go hurry up or no huddle all game. In the 4th 2 weeks in a row that's gotten the offense moving and scoring. Start the game with it not after going down two scores. Be aggressive and McDermott needs to stop playing scared and timid.
  8. They have no situational game plan, play calls, and consistently fail to identify an effective play or call to take advantage of the defense. An example might be that some teams play a wide nine that puts pressure on the OTs but leaves a gap between the DTs and DEs. A LB might normally assume responsibility for that gap. But a draw between the OG and OT gap where the LB vacated to drop into pass coverage can be exploited. Once you run a successful draw a few times the LBs will delay their drop into coverage and as a result leave some big gaps in coverage that Allen can exploit In the pass game. How much of that do the Bills do when playing the Jets or a wide nine scheme? They'll run between the center guard gap which consistently get stuffed. And the LBs drop without concern for the draw.
  9. It seems like a bad marriage and maybe I lack an understanding of the nuances of this offense but I don't see much variation in Dorsey's game plan and play calls or Allen's decisions and receiver targets from opponent to opponent based on exploiting the opponents weaknesses and avoiding their strengths. I expect the game plan for Tampa will be almost exactly what it was against NE. It's way too easy on the other teams defense.
  10. I just get the feeling we just witnessed the beginning of the end of the McDermott era yesterday. He certainly gets credit for his work and effort in turning around the franchise but he's taken them as far as he can. I look at the schedule and can't bring myself to believe they're getting to 10 or 11 wins playing like they are the past 3 weeks. Blame injuries but all teams have them. Game and time management are just bad and expecting improvement at this point is a fantasy. Whatever Sean and his staff are selling to the players they just don't look like they're buying into it anymore. Past failures might have them thinking its going end more or less the same. I think they're right. I'll throw in Dorsey for good measure. He's just not up to the task. But the players don't seem up to it either. All is not lost. Although they're going to have some cap issues we still have a franchise QB and a core of sold players. But its time for a fresh message and new leadership on the sidelines. The good thing is this looks like a one season reload than a multi-year rebuild effort.
  11. It's not so much the focus on defense as it is the lack of young impact players. Teams like the Chiefs and Ravens always seem to find good talent at the back of the draft rounds so the excuse of drafting in the high 20's isn't credible. Does the Bills draft board differ so much from these other teams? If so, how long does it take to figure out you have it mostly wrong?
  12. Standard excuse. We have to execute better. And follow the process. News flash: The process is broken.
  13. My bet is Miami doesn't get to 28+ points in Philly tonight and expects Hurts will outplay Tua
  14. Looks to me like when they go hurry up in crunch time Allen is at his best and the offense is very effective. Throw Dorsey's play sheet and game plan out the window and go full street ball on the defense. Less thinking, more results. Whatever plan the OC is trying to do early, the last 3 games say throw it in the trash.
  15. The entire secondary needs to be replaced. The Safeties are slow and old and the Corners can't cover and never play the ball. The offense sleeps through the first half in three straight clunkers.
  16. $200k the tip of the iceberg. But let's send them both to jail. You good with that?
  17. More interesting is the hospital's bankruptcy filing stating the $600K "loan" to James Biden was for procurement of assistance with acquiring financial assistance with Middle Eastern investors. James upon receiving the funds into his account wrote Joe the 200K check. So let's see the Biden's produce evidence backing up the expected claim James is paying Joe back. Should be easy. So, still no evidence. Boy, I wish my brother would send me a $200K check!
  18. $98 Billion. I don't have any objection to providing support for who our government considers "allies". What I object to is the business model employed by the people in Washington. Its bad, for American taxpayers. Congress passes legislation, the President signs it, the Treasury authorizes the borrowing of $98,000,000,000, and the US taxpayer assumes the liability of paying the money back. In this arrangement the taxpayers assume 100% of the direct cost and derive 0% of the direct benefit. Who gets the benefit? The politicians, the foreign countries, and the people supplying the goods and services the $98B covers. Its equivalent to you footing the bill for an expensive meal for 20 "friends" while you're left to stand on the sidewalk outside the restaurant watching them enjoy their meal through the front window. What a pal they all say! Who would agree to such an arrangement with their personal finances? If we're on the hook for the payments its reasonable to expect something back. Isn't it? How about Israel and Ukraine send the US treasury every year for 20 years 5% of their tax receipts in order to service the loans? Something like this? Ancient Rome used to charge about 10% for protection and support. Simply, the US Empire's system of financing support for allies and provinces is flawed. Its inverted. Not only to we get nothing in return, we pay them! How can we afford this? We're already $33 Trillion in the hole with no way out.
  19. The key concept to comprehend is avoiding the problem in the first place. Not so much damage control. Under Biden our enemies no longer fear us and our friends no longer respect us. But the slow-thinking self-proclaimed progressive geniuses among us haven't caught up to the reality of this yet. "Don't under-estimate Joe Biden's ability to ***** things up" - Barrack Obama.
  20. Key points to listen for: Keep the money flowing for more wars that we have to borrow. Watch out for MAGA white supremacists. Leave the border open. Celebrate Pride month all year long. Keep gasoline and food prices high. Ignore crimes against citizens. Prosecute critics and opponents of the government with made-up crimes. Continue lowering education standards in support of inclusion. Remember to use preferred pronouns on the road to Hell we're on. Most important whatever goes wrong it's not my fault because the Russians did it.
  21. Buckle your seatbelts and assume crash positions!
  22. No matter what view anyone might have on this interruption of an official proceeding, how some point out the nuances and differences between this and J6 to argue its not a crime under the books, or others argue by the letter of the law its disrupting the official actions of government regardless of the protocol for entered the building, we all know a couple things for certain. The DOJ will show no lust or desire to prosecute anyone involved because the people involved are generally considered political allies of the administration. No hearings, no indictments, no show trials in front of judges supportive of the government's cases. And the media will move the story quickly off the front page to facilitate the public forgetting the event as quickly as possible.
  23. Yet ironically, that POS did far less damage to the country than the walking cadevour of a President you support has done in less than 3 years. Best to prepare for a complete and unmitigated disaster before the term is over rather than fixating on Trump.
  24. Flynn's comments do not make him a Nazi. I interpret his comments as asking why given numerical superiority they didn't fight back? That's not equivalent to blame. To suggest blame is a creative way of avoiding any conversation about the question. I think that passive collective submission is a fundamental reason why Israeli's take a hard line "never again" approach to threats of genocide from the likes of Hamas and Iran's clerical regime.
