Constipation. This one got stuck in my digestive tract.
All_Pro_Bills replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
For me its just a matter of managing expectations before, during, and after the game. Such as knowing after taking the lead late in the 4th the Bills defense was going to give up a score and OT was the most likely scenario. And knowing that 59 yard FG would have somehow, defying all laws of gravity and matter would have been good from 89. And knowing if the Bills didn't score a TD in OT the game was over as the Eagles would march down the field and get it into the EZ. And the next day waking up and thinking maybe next week they'll get it right! -
WGR Topic: McDermotts Mt Rushmore of Lossess'
All_Pro_Bills replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
We all want McDermott to be successful because his success means the team is winning which will lead to the elusive Super Bowl championship we all feel is within reach with what I believe is a generational talent like Josh Allen. But realistically does anyone believe its going to happen? I think Josh is in the same boat as Connor McDavid with the Edmonton Oilers. Both arguably the best individual talent in the league stuck on a team that underachieves in other areas of the game such as defense and coaching. While I've stuck with McDermott on its become too obvious after the Philly game that a change is needed. I'm not sure I can handle another season full of these last minute disasters. -
The Monday ESPN shows have been generally critical of Josh Allen. They've ordained Hurts as the new king of the hill at the QB position. Granted, Jalen is playing excellent football but the Eagles are a dropped TD pass and a miscommunication on a route between the QB and WR away from losing to both the Chiefs and the Bills. And in the case of the Bills, Hurts had the benefit of a better supporting cast. A better HC, a better offensive line, a better defense, arguably a better set of WR's and a better Placekicker that night who made a 100 to 1 shot from 59 yards out given the distance and conditions. In a head to head all other things equal I'll take Allen every time. What most of these cookie cutter commentators are they're failing to address is the Bills defense consistent failure to hold leads in the McDermott era. Something painfully obvious this season and a systemic problem. For a team with championship aspirations its a fatal defect. Orlovsky is one of the few commentators to elude to this problem. Josh Allen and the offense left the field after their final drives in regulation and overtime with the lead and the defense blew the game twice in consistent fashion. Something that's cost several games this season (and should have cost them the win against the Giants too). The finger needs to be pointed at the defense and the guy running the show on the side of the ball. Outside of Dan's breakdown of the defense, when are they talking about that subject on ESPN? And hold the HC/DC to account? The biggest and most consistent problem costing the Bills games and hurting the team.

I believe both Beane and McDermott report directly to Pegula. That would mean Beane has no authority to fire McDermott. But don't most teams have a structure where the owner sits over the GM and the GM sits over the HC?
-
On goal to go at the 1 you can jump Offside and cream the QB a dozen times and only get a 1/2 the distance each time. Until they change the rules to penalize intentional Offside with unsportsmanlike its on.

Hindsight might be 20/20 but foresight is necessary and lacking from the coach's thinking and actions. Say you think taking on an MMA fighter in a bar brawl is a good idea. What's more important? Thinking it through using foresight and dismissing the idea or using hindsight waking up in the hospital 3 days later? If our HC would just say I made a mistake or error and in the future I will correct it and make a better decision that's something I'd respect. But dodging accountability while holding everyone else accountable isn't good leadership.

I knew it was coming but I was also watching the game with my wife, the eternal optimist when it comes to the Bills. They could be down 24 points with 4 minutes to go and she'll stick to the anything can happen theory. Then blames the loss on me for bring "so negative'. I say I'm a realist as I point out historically how many times the defense has blown a late lead and the huge number of bonehead decisions our HC has inflicted on us. This backdrop leeds to an additional element of pain. But yes, I knew that FG would have been good from 80 yards if necessary, a rogue wind or a hawk swooping down to grab the ball and fly it through the goalposts would have appeared. If there is a God he must love screwing with Bills fans more than anything else. My message back is I want to speak to your manager. And I knew like the rest of us the only chance to win was a touchdown on the OT drive because while few things in life are certain one thing thst is, is the Bills defense will blow the game at the end. Sadly, the only person unaware of this was the only person that could make the decision to go for it.
-
After several seasons of consistently blowing leads at the end of the game the HC should fire the DC this week! On another note, at the end of last season I bought into the idea the problem was Leslie Frazier and I owe the man an apology.

The only way to stop the Eagles offense was to keep them and the Bills defense off the field in OT.

This defense just never makes the big stop against the top teams in these one-score games. How many times have we suffered through reruns of this outcome? The offense left the field with the lead inside 2 minutes in the 4th and in OT. But as usual the defense folds, not once but twice. I was yelling for them to go for the first down in OT rather than kick the FG knowing they'd blow the lead. We all knew they wern't going to hold off the Eagles offense if they touched the ball so going for the TD was the only chance to win What's wrong with Sean isn't that he's a bad coach. It's that his trust in his defense is misplaced because they come up empty over and over. Unfortunately he's yet to catch on they suck in the clutch. He's taken this team as far as he's going to, time to go.

Vehicle Explosion at Rainbow Bridge

I think the actual story is the couple was returning from Canada because the Kiss concerts in Ottawa and Toronto were canceled by the band. They stopped at a Casino on the Canadian side prior to coninuing back home. And the crash occured at the Customs checkpoint coming back to the US. Liam has it slightly incorrect. Perhaps Detroit Rock City was playing at the time too? -
They revel in the cult-like belief while admiring their accomplishments represented by the dozen or so 10th place trophies and ribbons on display in their home. Their choice of holiday gifts for similar minded acquaintances are cherished items like an AFC and NFC championship game runner-up sweatshirt from 2016. Maybe they lost but they still have "pride".

Nobody is suggesting there wasn't violence committed by a small number of protesters but that circumstance doesn't support the conclusion that every single person there that day was participating in an insurrection only because of the venue. Objectively, the Antifa attacks on the Federal Courthouse in Portland were much more violent in both duration and intensity but that got whitewashed by your cult. Because they did it. An attack on Federal property. Otherwise, I'm raising legitimate questions that anyone with a hint of intellectual curiosity and an objective mind would want answered from people looking to score political points while ignoring and hiding any fact or detail that conflicts with their preconceived conclusions. You have no reasonable answers for any of them. Anybody with a few working brain cells can see the J6 Committee had no interest in the facts or the truth.

Did they disarm the guards and take them prisoner? Did they make any demands? Set up barricades inside the building? Secure and control entrances and exits? What was the command structure? Where's the plan? What stopped them? Why did they leave? Where are all the firearms and weapons? These are basic attributes of an armed takeover attempt. J6 committee report never addressed any of these "minor" details. Application of simple common sense will conclude its one big hoax. Last but not least, did they all fail to learn the lesson from the original Die Hard about how to properly take over and secure a building?

Maybe its me but when I hear the words diversity, equity, and inclusion I get a little creeped out because they sound kind of "cultish". Like stuff from some 60's Hippie commune. Peace dudes..

In my neck of the woods Walmarts and the dollar stores are full of non-english speaking immigrants flown up from Texas in the middle of the night by DHS. To find rednecks you need to travel west 30+ miles across the Delaware into Pennsylvania. By the looks of them they kills their own food and make their own clothes. And voted for Fetterman because he's a way smart fellow out there.

Immigration Is Good For America
All_Pro_Bills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Immigration does help America but the problem with that argument is people presenting that point are only looking at the benefits while refusing to recognize any of the costs or consequences which offset or can quite possibly be greater than any benefit given the circumstances. Look a NYC. Do the "benefits" justify the cost in terms of funding and social disruptions that the city is experiencing as immigration expenses the city is having to handle are resulting in budget cuts in services and programs elsewhere? This according to the Mayor. I think those kinds of questions while recognizing resources are finite and priorities must be set are the kind of issues at the heart of the matter. -
Worse than the 70's era decay and crime wave that spawned the Death Wish series?

Many countries "peg" their currency to the dollar. Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and China, using a managed hi/lo band of exchange prices, to name a few. So its not all that unusual.

Jst curious. Do you think Netanyahu is a war criminal for killing civilians like Putin has done? If so, is it appropriate for the international court issue an arrest warrant?
